Having been going to barbers for the better part of 15 years, I have not had a better experience than that provided by Barbers King.
From the friendly welcome and atmosphere, to the great banter and laughs shared about life, they provide a true example about how you should feel when you go to a barber shop. Let alone the great fade that my partner loves.

V.I visited Barbers King for the first time today. I would recommend Barbers King every day of the week. Top quality haircut and service, with all the touches from a bygone error. My grandfather was a barber and it took me right back there. Mo was so easy to chat to throughout, like an old friend. I'm definitely going back as long as I'm in the Hutt.

M.Where to start... I was in dire need of a hair & beard trim so I stopped by the shop on a Thursday evening hoping to get a walk-in appointment. Immediately I was wowed by the immaculate level of standards the shop was presented in, super clean & modern, with the white & gold decor that screams opulence. Unfortunately there was nothing availble that suited that evening so after a bit of a yarn Mo got me sussed the following day.
Fast forward to Friday. I come back & Mo greets me like I was a long time customer. Settling into the chair for the first time, we go over the basic styling of what I was after & Mo gets to work. During the hour in the chair the conversation flowed freely & I was massively impressed by Mo's professionalism in getting the cut just right.
The end result, Mo had me looking as shape as a vikings axe.
After 6 years of going to the same barber in Wellington city, I felt like I had cheated on him, but I'm super stoked on taking the chance with Mo at Barbers King & will definitely be a returning customer.
A.Haven't really been a barber kind of guy, normally cut my own hair but I decided to give Barber Kings a go and damn the experience was amazing and now I'm hooked.

The barbers king is a very clean environment and the colours are great inside.
It was my very first time going to Barbers King and within the first 5min of being in there I felt so comfortable, the conversations and laughter was great!
I went in there not knowing exactly what I wanted as I had a dinner to go to so I let the barber work his magic, at the end of it I came out with a nice clean tidy respectable haircut and a nice tidy shave along with waxed nose which I'd never had done.
The service was really professional and I would highly recommend this Barber to anyone!

P.This is the best barbers I have been to.
From the moment you go in you are treated like royalty. Even if you are a bit shy at first within 5 minutes you will feel at home and really well looked after. This man sincerely and genuinely cares about his customers and it’s clear to see.
The cut:
Absolutely flawless, there is no doubt this man has skills, I got a fade and a beard trim and from every angle it was bang on the money. Lined up , clean and tidy , great blending and even chopped off a few of the grey hairs poking out.
The service:
Genuine and sincere. This cannot be understated. If you have ever been to a barber shop and felt a bit nervous or uncomfortable go here. I guarantee you will never go anywhere else.
It’s open after work massive bonus. This will be my regular. I don’t live locally and honestly would encourage anyone to take a drive to check this place out.
Cannot rate it higher, feel like a million bucks walking out.
K.I went in for a hair cut and it was so professional and laid back. The barber talks to you and asks what you want and gives you EXACTLY what YOU WANT. Got a great old fashioned clean razor shave today and I wasn't cut once and I wasn't afraid he would cut me. Just such an amazing barber and to be honest he's the best one I've been to in years! Probably the best ever.
The shop is clean, it smells really nice and looks so good! The products that are used are such amazing products.

K.I have to say this is the best barber place I’ve ever been. From the instant I walked in to the end of the appointment, the whole process made me felt comfortable. The attention to detail was on point, the barber took his time to make sure my haircut was perfect by trimming a little bit at a time and kept asking me if I was happy with it. The warm towel coated with lavender during the hair wash was amazing. It felt like I was in a 7 star hotel. The head massage during the hair wash was on point. Afterwards, he applied some products on my hair and did some adjustment to make my haircut perfect. He then finished the appointment off with a neck massage and some cologne. I couldn’t ask more. Will be recommending this place to all my friends.

H.I google searched a barber in my area, at 5:30pm. The only store open was the BARBER KING, closing time 8pm on a Tuesday? Hmmm... So, I call ahead to see if its true! Boom 💥 OPEN - BOOKED for 6pm. So good to have a barber open this late, for professionals who can't ever find the time! He really cares about the product he provides, and had banterfor days 👌 I got a fade, a razor, a wash, a spa style face massage and a touch up after the wash 😊 then he gave me the eftpos machine and said pay what you think is reasonable. 😱 couldn't believe it. I gave him $30 for the Cut and $10 on top for all the extras.👍COZ I'm broke but worth much more.
