Quick service and practical haircuts . You get haircuts in sequence from arrival time. No prebooking. Popular particularly when it rains so choose your time and day. After school and school.holidays are busy. Park behind Whitwells if none available out front.

I hate haircuts normally but the barber shop changed my opinion. I wouldn't go anywhere else. No appointments, so no one cares if you don't show up. They make you feel welcome. Super friendly and definitely not 'fake friendly' like other hair places I've been. For example the woman I always choose to do my hair remembers everything from past conversations even though I probably only get a cut twice a year. "Are you still working there? How's the music?." And the prices!! My god. They are so cheep yet so good! I've never walked out unsatisfied with my hair! Everywhere else I've been before I discovered this gem, savaged my hair and asked top dollar for their trash. I Love this place!

Happy Bubbly Lady Abbey who took the time to listen to how my son wanted his haircut He is usually anxious about getting cut his hair. He was very happy with his cut and will go there again

My 3 and a half year old is very sensitive around strange people but Viv made my son and daughter feel at ease very quickly. He loved climbing up the chair which was made a game of by Viv. What particularly impressed me was the fact due to my sons sensitivity we wernt able to get a cut the day we went in but Viv still made time to put my son at ease even when a paying customer was waiting for a cut. Now that's service! When we returned to get his hair cut Viv was exceptional...friendly and bubbly.. No uncomfortableness was given by another staff member when asking for a specific person... And to top this all off... It's the best haircut he's ever had and his first lollipop. . Thanks Viv you are the best kids hair dresser in town...Can't recommend you enough.
