A.13 year old boys sure are hard to please... but these guys did it! My son was very impressed with the cool flipping and flicking of the scissors. Pretty sure it was Karlos. "Very fancy" sons words. He thought the place looks cool, the barber was cool and the chairs are really comfy.

L.I'm very happy with the service today, my son 9 loved every moment, aswell very professional my son said that the Barber did everything exactly how he pictured it. The barber talked to me before the hair cut but took the time to listen to my son and treated him the same as the adults. N.I’ve been going to Husain for few months now. What a guy, not only great at what he does but a amazing man. Yesterday, I called him because I wanted to get my son’s first hair cut and he is only 15 months old. I went today and Husain did such a good job and it was done so swiftly and calmly. M.I went here three days after hairdressers were able to open after the August 2021 lockdown, so I understand some of these problems.
Despite legal requirements, vaccination status wasn't checked, and social distancing while waiting certainly wasn't maintained either.
I made a booking for 11:30, got there at 11:25 and waited until about 11:50. It seems like their razor sizes are a bit shorter than other places, and the prices advertised on their website need updating. When I went to pay I was told that their internet was temporarily down so their eftpos machine wasn't working (which I would understand if I had been told half an hour earlier when I got there). The BNZ ATM was only five minutes away.
My haircut was quick and looks good, and it was my first time here, but unfortunately it was a bit of a let down.
L.Went there before lockdown, what a fantastic place for a haircut. The barbers are knowledgable and friendly and they do an amazing job. The decor is great and the prices reasonable.

Carlos was holding the fort down on his Own - so a bit of a wait but he was excellent in communicating that they were short staffed due to an emergency - I was able to wait and it was def worth it.
Totally relied on his judgement to sort out my unruly beard and my untamed curly mess of a mane on top.
Couldn't be happier. One of the better if not best male grooming experiences I have had.

B.I’ve followed Hussein anywhere he’s been because my boys and husband absolutely love getting their haircut by him! His attention to detail and patience with my boys is unlike most at least in my experience, not to mention them;). Dr Scissors hands down the nicest shop I’ve been to since living here in Auckland. Great environment for the kids and adults and definitely has a flavor to it that makes it unique. Prices are generally the same as most other shops but the talent and staff outmeasures your average hair salon. I always recommend Dr Scissors to anyone who askes where they can get a good haircut!
j.I walked in with no appointment. Shop was clean and welcoming. Was able to be seen within a reasonable timeframe. Barber was super friendly and I was made to feel comfortable during the entire appointment. Wife says I look amazing so guess it must be a pretty decent cut too haha. T.New to town, decore beautiful, great for men's cuts but was really disappointed at the hacked at cut I got from the foreign guy. I don't think he knows how to cut hair not woman's anyway. Had to go to my old hair dresser to correct the mess.
