J.Hubby had a haircut. Didn't have an appointment so the wait was quite long, over an hour. Nice cut. Clean facilities. Great decor. Busy place & pays to have an appointment.
G.Walked in as I needed a trim. I didn’t have a booking and was told by the lady working there, nothing was available until tomorrow and to make a reservation and come back. One of the guys took the initiative to ask me what I wanted done and asked me to take a seat and wait. After several minutes I was sitting in the chair enjoying a terrific trim, and some swanky extras like hair oil, hot towel and gentle head massage. After the initial luke warm welcome I left impressed and pleased with my cut.
M.Thank you Rodel for my awesome hair cut! The best Barber shop in New Zealand in my opinion, the place is clean and the people that work there are charismatic and professional. It feels good to finally go to a barbershop and leave with the exact haircut you asked for. Will be back for sure!
j.The team at man craft are very efficient and professional, I came in for a 4:30 appointment and they were quite busy but got through the line very quickly everyone seemed happy, the barber that cut my hair was very professional, he made sure to double check and explain everything that I wanted in order to make sure that I got the haircut that I wanted.
The barber went out of his way to do heaps of little details that other barbers wouldn’t bother doing, even got a warm face clothe to finish the experience
At the till the person in front of me accidentally dropped a $50 note next to the till and the lady barber made sure to get his attention and give it back, the guy joked saying could have had an extra $50 and she said we don’t earn money like that
All In all a very good experience
M.Went into Mancraft for the first time, nervous about cutting my long hair after a year and half. Left feeling like a new man with the freshest cut! It's rare that I leave a barber satisfied with a haircut, I'm the fussiest customer when it comes to my hair lol, but Hailey absolutely nailed it! Excellent customer experience, 10/10 guys 👌

P.Came to Taupo for the weekend, needed a haircut, found Mancraft Barbers on Google. Was not disappointed.
Greeted with so much enthusiasm, happy to take me as a 'walk-in'. They do a mixture of appointments & walk ins. Was asked what I wanted and then went over options and costs.
Place was busy, every chair filled. Quite a buzz in the atmosphere & everyone full on life. Haircut was incredibly well done. Definitely be back.

N.Me and my son have become regular patrons of Mancraft Barbers.
They always deliver and are super fast! I have never had to wait. The booking system is easy to use and even on the odd occasion I've walked in my experience has been great.
My favourite part is receiving either a massage or warm towel. My son enjoys the banter and especially the treat at the end. He's always excited when he sees his new hairstyle too.
I definitely recommend Mancraft to everyone.

W.I love these group of people at Mancraft Taupo. I go there at least once a week to get a wet shave done. Jerry is one of my main barbers, his professionalism really shows and is really experienced. Besides from that, this place is ultra clean! You really feel like a king walking in and having all the staff to greet you with open arms!
M.My first "Man craft experience ",was unique in that I was given a voucher from my thoughtful girlfriend, for a wet shave. and a haircut.
So with a new hair cut I was looking as good as the guy in the chair next to me whom was 10 years younger.
The wet shave was a real experience .Having a light shave then a deep shave with nice smelling and smooth cream.
This was followed with a light head massage and a hot towel to wipe my face ,done by the Barber.
Well done guys I didn't have to shave for a week.
To quote Arnold... I'll be back!

m.I've been going to mancraft for about a year. I've Han many different barbers and all have been excellent. My last cut was done by their newest team member. He was an Asian gentleman he really new his stuff. I've gotten nothing but positive comments in my cut. The only reason this is not give stars is the wait times can be a while but it is definitely worth it
S.I took my two young boys here for their first post lockdown haircut, as well as moving to a completely new city we didn't know what to expect. The team at mancraft were so welcoming under such very strange circumstances in level 2 and they provided top notch haircuts for my boys, they both can't wait to come back again soon. Thank you.

L.Backpacker review: When I came in, the barbers were doing an entire Rugby team's haircuts with slick fades/straight razoring beards. I intuitively knew that this would be a great place to get a haircut and it was! I got a great zero fade and went on my merry traveling ways :). You won't be disappointed!

Came in at the right place and right time for a "scissor only" cut.
I told him I was fine with whatever, as long as it has a look of professionality to it. Very happy with the outcome.
The time and attention and care he gave was outstanding.
I enjoyed the light conversation and his knowledge of hair care. Not only was I given a scissor cut, but he addressed my eyebrows and did some great work with product, a hair dryer and a hair brush. What a god!

J.What a great place, friendly and professional. You can definitely see and feel the difference of the skilled barbers. Dont be put off the the scaffolding out front (28/7/20) ...its well worth a visit.
I.The day was overcast and my head was spinning due to events the night before, however struggling, I made my way to Mancraft for a haircut. I hadn't set foot into the barbers before and unbeknownst to me most patrons book appointments, I had not. Alas, It wasn't a problem, I waited for less then a minute was seated and approximately an hour later I had arguably the best haircut experience of my life. I left satisfied, educated and ready to go straight back to bed because I was extremely hungover. Fantastic service from S2 (Chantal, Shantel, Shontelle, Shanny?) I could not remember her name but nonetheless she was exceptional in her craft and her wit. I'll be back.

s.Took my toddler on Sunday Morning. He was pretty adamant he wanted a haircut until he got up into the children's car chair and then went all shy. Renee was great, she interacted with My son and myself the whole time. I am very hesitant to get his hair cut as I’m scared he will loose his curls, but Renee has done a great job and he still has them. Thank you 😊 Highly recommend Renee I also watched her do some cool fades while we were waiting.

I was totally blown away by the skill of the Stylist whose precision to trim. Cut. Even blow style this client's beard WAS Amazing!!!
This client looked absolutely "MANCRAFT" -ED.
Whilst looking on.
Another female Stylist "Chantel" was styling. Triming and cutting a young man's (17yrs??) hair.
This young man specifically asked for Chantel.
I understood WHY?
Whilst Chantel was uniquely crafting HIS requested style..
Again.
My words to her and to the Beard client WAS commenting on the work I saw.
A Privilege
And
ABSOLUTE DELIGHT...
Finally.
I observed another Stylist trim, cut and re-style a 3rd customer.
This was a friend WHOM I'd advised from the last visit to Taupo that MANCRAFT is the BEST Barber in Taupo!!
So.
Convincingly.
Being HIS second visit.
He followed through with my recommendation.
By the end of his appointment
He walked out with a cheesy "GRIN"
Totally satisfied
That I had suggested he go to "MANCRAFT".
We have on occasion traveled from the Bay to Taupo.
