The experience was everything I could have possibly want and need from a barber.
The Barber and I chatted a bit, and I ended up with tidier hair.
Outstanding, would recommend, will go again.
D.I'm rather fussy with my hair cuts. Even worse, my mum is particular fussy with my hair cuts. She used to be a hair dresser and always has something to pick at when I come and visit.
Today mum said my hair was perfect.
Had great service and cut from Cherie. My hair is rather difficult to cut and she did it to perfection. I would highly recommend her.

Sometimes they open late, or early - you'll never know, it seems. Not very good communication or banter - so you have to work hard to get a good cut (which you can do).
In summary, if you work at it you'll get a better than average cut at very good prices, but it's hard to feel relaxed and known...even as a semi regular at a village barber.

H.Very clean, well edged cut! This guy has got serious eyes for detailed cuts.. I walked past and saw 4 guys were already waiting! Which is a good sign for a Barbershop. I decided to come in and wait, I saw this guy taking his time for each cut and made sure everything was good and clean. After an hour or so later 10 minutes before closing up time I was welcomed to the chair with a warm welcome and asked how I was and what I wanted done for my haircut, which ended up exactly what I wanted. Overall I would recommend this shop highly and I will make sure to come back next time I’m in Wellington. Thanks for staying longer mate!
N.It took us a while to find a good barber in Wellington then we found Koru barbers! My partner and 7 year old son have their hair cut by Hawkar and he is the best! The highlight for my son is seeing his picture on the wall which is an awesome way for my son to remember how he likes his hair cut. A family friendly environment and all the staff are great! I highly recommend this barber!

P.I have thick straight Asian hair. It is hard to find barbers in Wellington who understand this nature. Until I have found Hawgar at Koru Barber. He is the best. Look no further if you have thick straight hair. Come to Koru barber and ask for Hawgar. The downside is because he is the best. Consequence is so many customers you need to wait for a while. But bottom line. Worth it!

N.Always get a decent cut from Hawkar, can't say the same for the other barbers at Koru, but Hawkar definitely knows what he is doin and always gives a good style just the way you want it.
