Sooooo good to be able to make appointments. We take our son in for haircuts with who ever is free, all the crew seem happy in their work and theres a great vibe in the salon too. Decor is amazing and pleanty of comfy couches to chill on while waiting.

Great service. Took our boy in for his first hair cut & they not only did a great haircut, they were kind & gentle with him & made him feel comfortable. Hubby also got his haircut. Looks great. They deserve 10 Million Stars! Because anyone that can make me look better than semi-ok, deserves ten million staaaaaarrrrs. Sam is flippin awesome. Actually I shouldn't say that because then my waiting time for him will just get longer and longer. Use their booking app for your haircut, it is very easy to use. You'll get sent an email and then a reminder text the day before. Coming out of that shop I feel like the Bee Gees with soft wind blowing in my hair and Stayin Alive as my theme song. Boomshuckkawahwah. I had been going to my barber for over 15 years and had to change because we moved to Whanganui. My barber told me about the magic of Sam and recommended them. Sam is a hair wizard! If you wanna look like ten million dollars for a whole lot less, then go to Monaghans.

First time taking my 18 month old to a proper barber for a hair cut and he wasnt having a bar of it..but with the managers help to distract my toddler so the lady could finish his hair was great and super helpful! Amazing cut too!

These guys cut hair well, I am always satisfied with the quality of the cut. They don't do bookings only walk-ins, so sometimes there's a wait. But that's a consequence of their popularity which says something in itself. Definitely worth checking out if you're up for a trim. Great atmosphere too, old school styled. They have a loyalty card system too, so after 7 cuts you get a free one!

This glowing review is for his professionalism, the quality of the haircut is outstanding, and how he connected with my 6 1/2 yr old. They chat t ed like old long time friends which kept my moko so relaxed as he had a bad experience at another barber's in wanganui. I gave Jarred a brief rundown of what I wanted and he totally came.through and completed respected and was ever so careful with his waist long rats tail. so thank you so much Jarred, you have a customer for as long as possible.
