I've been going to this salon for over a year now and I would never go anywhere else now. All of the staff are super friendly and really care about your experience and that the client leaves happy with the result. I have had cuts by several staff, all brilliant, but Amelia has done all my colour. There are no words. This girl is a genius. She always knows exactly what I want and how to make it happen. Book, now.

LOVED my experience at Arrowtown hair! The girls are all amazing, so friendly and professional. I Was torn on going for a full fringe and Amelia advised me on what she thought would go best (shaggy style bangs) and I LOVE them! Their organic curly hair products worked amazing with my hair, 10/10 experience, will be coming back again.

I highly recommend Arrowtown Hair Co. I get my hair done regularly in Christchurch, it was the first time having it done down here. I'm so impressed! Tamara did an amazing job with both my colour and cut and blow dry. The blonde was perfectly matched and haircut exactly as I wanted (I have short hair). It's a beautiful salon and I will definitely be coming back.

I always get my hair done with Amelia at Arrowtown Hair - she’s one cool cat and so passionate about her craft. The other girls are all super friendly and join in the conversations which makes 4 hours in the chair breeze by! I am so here for all the plants and sustainable options they’ve got - every salon should be as conscious as they are 🙌🏼

Hands-down the best hair colour I’ve ever had. Lovely team, great experience and would highly recommend. =) I really appreciated the time they took to understand what I wanted, and the suggestions they gave. I also really loved their earth friendly paper-foils, and their organic products feel a lot nicer then the usual chemical-smelling ones.

This place is a positive experience from the minute you step in the door. All of the girls are awesome, super relaxed but also very knowledgeable. I love the ecofriendly/ more natural approach to hair treatments and colours here. Wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!

I’m so happy I found Amelia at Arrow Hair - in my opinion she is the best hairdresser in Queenstown. What I love about Arrow Hair is that they don’t just offer a high quality service but they use eco friendly products that are less harmful on both your hair and the environment. The salon is a also an absolute sanctuary filled with beautiful plants and relaxing music - it’s easy to unwind and let the hours pass.

Highly recommend this salon for those in the Arrowtown and Queenstown areas. Having recently moved to Queenstown I was nervous about finding someone who would be able to cut my hair the way I like it and understand my goals on having healthy, natural hair. Amelia understood completely and I'm looking forward to my next visit!

I highly recommend Arrowtown hair, the staff are brilliant and do a really good job. But there is a lot more to the salon then meets the eye. The salon has a very relaxed vibe, tucked away amongst a few Arrowtown shops. It’s a cute cottage with lots of plants 🌱inside. Instantly you know you are going to be looked after. They try to use more natural products and that is quite unique about a salon. The staff often go the extra mile, many times i have got real barista coffee, good magazines and when I was pregnant they even made a bucket of cold water for my heavily swollen feet. Not to mention the team are so good at hair and I love how they make my hair just look effortlessly natural. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Lovely salon. My hairdresser Kirsty is simply the best . She’s a lovely gentle lady with just the right amount of chit chat. Always friendly and welcoming . I always coming out with great looking hair and getting a lift from the experience . A small salon with staff who all make you feel like a real person not a “client”. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I have never felt so comfortable and happy with my hair and the whole experience. They are also passionate about running a sustainable and ethical salon, using products that are good for your hair and the environment. BIG yes.

Always a pleasure to visit the ladies at Arrowtown Hair! Service is consistently timely, friendly and relaxed. They are the best salon in the area if you value sustainable products and practices - I love having my hair coloured with Papernotfoil, and without the overwhelming chemical smell of bleach. Very highly recommend!

I have had my hair cut and dyed by Kirsty a few times now and have loved each one! I started going to Arrowtown Hair Co because of their sustainable values and practices (such as paper not foil) and have kept going because of the high quality and great environment.

Kirsty just did my haircut and it's amazing! I don't really have a style so let the hairdresser express themselves with my haircut and its probably the best haircut I have ever had! Cherry on the cake, kirsty was friendly and very interesting to talk to. Amazing experience. Already booked my next appointment!

Jen recently blow waved my hair for my Son’s Wedding. It was fabulous. Her attention to detail was amazing and she listened to what I said that my hair drops easily. It stayed styled for 2-3 days!!

Amelia is a brilliant hair stylist, the salon is welcoming, set in a small courtyard amongst other petite shops and next to a café. A perfect Arrowtown experience. My hair thanks you! Hoping to be in Arrowtown again soon & I will visit you guys then. Highly recommended by me, a little solan that delivers a big fabulous result!
