I got my hair cut and coloured by Chanelle she is an amazing hairdresser. Really friendly and does an excellent cut and colour also very knowledgeable about all the products she uses. Salon is looking amazing and has a very welcoming vibe and a very pleasant atmosphere.

I have been having my hair done at AB hair for about 3 years now and never have I had a better haircut and colour than my recent experience with new team members Chanelle and Chenoa. I felt like a million dollars walking out. Thankyou ladies. 😊

I recently changed hairdressers and I am always a little scared how it may go... I have been twice for a cut and colour and the staff have been amazing. They were friendly and reassuring, and very professional! My colour was great both times and the pricing was very fair. I will definitely be coming back! I 💖

I had had a terrible experience at another salon 1 week prior to my appointment with Nicole and Yesterday for me was the BEST experience i have ever had! Nicole is fantastic and i am so pleased to have found my new hairdresser my hair looks incredible i cant stop looking in the mirror !! and to the team from the first point of contact over the phone with Amy you guys were amazing so helpful and understanding!! before coming to see you guys after my bad experience last week i never wanted to get my hair done ever again now I am excited to get it done next time! highly recommend great service and very reasonable price for the amazing work and effort put in to my hair, Thanks again Nicole and Team you guys are awesome xx

Amazing salon with amazing service. All staff were so warm and friendly, the salon itself was spotless, and the service was even better - I've never been happier with my hair when walking out of any hair dresser before! All pricing is super reasonable and I've already booked to return and get my hair coloured. I can't wait.

I have been coming to Amanda Baker since 2009 and I have always been so happy with my hair. I've had so many cuts and colours there, and love the work they do. The one time I had an issue with my cut, they resolved it very well. The experience is always nice, with as much coffee as I can drink, and new magazines - which is an important element if you spend as much time there as I do. It's handy that they do beauty therapy services too, now if only I could get my brows done while lying at the hair basin haha. Katherine is who I have been seeing for my most recent hairstyling, and I'm very pleased. She even remembered details about what I'd been up to at my last appointment, it felt like catching up with a friend :)

I usually only do my colour once a year so is a big deal for me to get it right. Kayla did an amazing job with helping me select a lovely blonde combo which I am in love with!!! Was treated to an amazing scalp massage by the new beautician which was an added bonus. After trying many hair stylists after moving to Auckland 4 years ago I have found the one, thanks Kayla and the team at Amanda Baker:)

I had my brows and lashes done at Beauty Boss. I was so pleased with the outcome! I would highly recommend it! Professional, friendly and affordable!

Finally found a great hairdresser!! I am super fussy with my hair and when I first came to New Zealand there is always some anxiety finding a new hairdresser but from the first time I stepped in the salon I can honestly say I have never left disappointed. I love the personal care amanda and the team give and they have high standards in their work and finish. Recently I got to have my hair done by a new staff member Vladimir and I can only say I seriously hope he is here to stay. You will notice from the beginning the skill that this guy has. He has been able to achieve the colour that I've been looking for in a long while. He listens to your and gives you great advice. This is the place to go to if you care about your hair.

Every haircut is an occasion to look forward to, not only because I know I'm going to get a fantastic hairdo but the place is always happy and there's something new on offer. Thanks to Vlad, its a certainty. I don't know how long I've been going to AB,s but its right from when Amanda bought the business and she only had a husband not 3 boys!, its totally consistently awesome.

I am so happy with the amazing colour that I just received from Frankie at AB HAIR. She listened to what I wanted and was very friendly. After a couple of days I thought I was looking a little too blonde, I rang the salon and Frankie booked me in straight away and re-coloured it for me at no charge. I was so grateful, the team were 100% accommodating and were friendly and polite. The colour is now just beautiful and I am so happy with it! Thanks so much Frankie!

I went there today for the first time and they were amazing. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and it looked exactly like it when they were done. The new Russian stylist was amazing. I was made to feel very welcome as if they knew me for years. Great service and wonderful atmosphere. Well done you guys are awesome. I live in Auckland but will drive there from now on to get my hair done.

I cannot fault this salon. I have been going for years and my cut and colour always comes out amazing. Everyone is so attentive and lovely, i am always offered a coffee or wine. Its such a great way to spend a couple of hours away from the kids being pampered.

Feeling very tired and worn out I walked into Amanda Bakers and came out feeling like I'd been on holiday. Great coffee, music, comfy chairs, lovely, helpful, professional staff. I've had some wonderful compliments on my highlights and cut. I highly recommend you go there and see for yourself

I had to edit my previous review. Businesses sometimes make mistakes or something goes wrong, but the mark of a genuine business is where they do everything to make a wrong right. Our experience wasn't good - my son requested colour into his hair which should have given a vibrant result and lasted several months, but after 2 washes it had gone. The owner contacted me to fix it up. however she did not only fix up the outcome, she also investigated how this happened, investigated the product and then trained the staff on the issue with the product and application to ensure that it doesn't happen again, as well as ensuring that both my son and I were treated like VIPs when we came back for another very long visit. Not only was the second result outstanding, but I was highly impressed at the thoroughness of the Salon's owner in her dedication to fixing the cause of the problem and our satisfaction with the Salon. Amanda Baker will be my new go-to for my hair and beauty in the future.

Sam is a great hair dresser! She listened to what I wanted for this session, my hair feels healthy now, light and looks amazing. Great experience, will definitely return to same person.

Managed to get a booking for the same day which was awesome. Staff there were lovely and did a great job. $87 for a cut, style, blow wave and straighten which I thought was really reasonable. Thanks!

Like a true artist, some people just have a magic way with scissors. Amanda is one of these artists, truly gifted as a hair person, she always takes the time to do the best job possible. After a reasonably long absence from ABH, I have vowed to return after recently receiving an awesome new style that (unusually) I have loved from day one. Thanks Amanda, great cut, awesome salon.
