I highly recommend Carmen at Actuelle. She is a talented therapist who is warm and caring and you always leave feeling fantastic!

I’ve been going to Actuelle for my skin for a few months now, and after years of being disappointed by skincare recommendations, I’m so happy to have been told about Actuelle! All of the ladies at the salon are incredibly friendly and I love the welcoming vibe I get as soon as I step inside. Specifically though, my therapist, Carmen, is an absolute gem - I’m always met with a beaming smile, a toasty warm bed and a facial that is consistently awesome. The value for money here is awesome, and I’d say there’s very little room for disappointment in going to Actuelle - so glad I found somewhere so lovely!

Actuelle is a by far the best Beauty Therapy Clinic! It's a beautiful Salon and all the staff are just amazing. They offer knowledgeable advise and really listen to you and your concerns and tailor skincare to your specific needs. I have been a regular client at Actuelle now for around 20 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. It is a welcoming little haven in the middle of East Auckland that I could not recommend more.

I have been going to Actuelle for many years and highly recommend their services. Due to a bad result elsewhere I had previously been put off beauty salons, however Actuelle has vastly improved my skin and skincare. Their Synergie products in particular are very effective and targeted plus Kamilla and Carmen are very knowledgeable, experienced and professional.

A big thank you to Tamsin, the beauty therapist who did my facial. Tamsin is professional, knowledgeable and always delivers a quality service. My skin feels completely rejuvenated and I would highly recommend booking her for your next appointment.

I’ve been coming to Actuelle beauty for almost 3 years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else! I personally see Carmen who is fantastic and highly experienced. I have also seen some of the other lovely ladies in there and they have been great too! The rooms are always clean, tidy & well presented. It’s always a relaxing experience!

I had a makeup done by Gina for a cocktail event this evening and was thrilled with the results! Gina was lovely, went through a lot of information about the event, my makeup expectations, my skin and skin regimens. She was friendly and professional and created exactly the look I wanted. Thanks heaps!! Over the past several months I have also had various facials, derma-plane, waxing etc by Carman and also Tamsin. They are all amazing!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

A fabulous and professional service at all times. The ladies are really well trained and will politely tell you what is required to support your particular skin type etc. Their facials are very soothing and relaxing. I have been coming to this salon for years and have loved every visit!

The team at Actuelle where fantastic rescheduling the appointments I made for make up, tan etc for my wedding which kept changing due to COVID 19 lockdowns. Gina did a fantastic job of my tan, eyebrows and makeup, lots of people commented on how lovely my makeup was and that the tan looked great, thank you Gina. I have a regular appointment with Gina for my eyebrows, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I’ve been coming to Actuelle Beauty Therapy for about 20 years, from the early days upstairs at the Highland Park shopping centre until now in the new premises just across the road, and have always had good service and wonderful facial treatments. Kamilla and her team are amazing. They assess my skin at each appointment and provide a therapy to suit.

Great service today. Very professional. Felt so relaxed. Peaceful music. I will recommend them to anyone. Value for money. They will definitely see me in 4 weeks time for another facial treatment. Thanks ladies.

I have just got back from my very first facial and omnilux light therapy treatment with Jess at Actuelle. Jess was absolutely wonderful. She was so friendly, warm and professional. I received fantastic advice going forward on how I should approach various skin issues. I left feeling so relaxed and actually noticing a lovely glow. I am already booked in for another treatment with her and will be incorporating a monthly visit into my usual skin routine.

I love everything about Actuelle Beauty, and have been a client for several years.The new clinic is beautiful, and a place to relax on entry. I so look forward to my treatments with the lovely Gina, who like the other girls, is friendly, calm, professional, and always pays attention to providing an exceptional experience. i can thoroughly recommend Actuelle Beauty Therapy. They are professional and know how to treat your skin. Carmen is amazing, she has been my therapist for several months and really knows her stuff. The stock line that Actuelle Beauty have is far the best on the market. Today i needed a product that they did not have in store, within 10 mins the owner delivered the stock to the salon. Amazing customer service. 10 out of 10 to the owner, staff and my special therapist Carmen, well done. U guys are the best xxx

I also find the other staff so friendly and welcoming, I highly recommend Actuelle Beauty Therapy for all your beauty/body requirements. I'm looking forward to my next treat which is a Pedicure.

I always look forward to my appointment at Actuelle. The staff are always friendly and professional and I know they have the best hygiene practices and trained beauticians. I see Raquel and she is one of the best I've come across with electrolysis!

I am reasonably new to the world of beauty therapy treatments and from the first visit I was made to feel welcome, comfortable and special- just finished my second visit for dermaplaning with the lovely Carman and she is amazing! The people that work here are amazing. They are all so knowledgeable and friendly; I have a lot of problems with very sensitive skin and they always take time to consult to make sure they are using the right products for my skin.

Ok. Background: Cyclist. Tired of shaving legs... and yes it is better if you fall off as it reduces the chances of infection. First time waxing. Experience: Kamilla was very approachable and I felt at ease straight away... probably a good thing to be relaxed. Kamilla was professional and very interesting to talk with - also a good thing as a means of distraction. At worst it feels like smacking sunburnt skin. Result: Very smooth legs that need no more looking after for a while. Brilliant pricing. Great service. Accessible times. Guys, don't be afraid. It's all good. Chest is not so easy, but still worth enduring... and you look silly if only fuzzy from the legs up. 😊
