T.Today was my first time here and my hair was cut by Shar. She took the time to listen & understand what I wanted, then went ahead and gave me a great new style. I have absolutely no complaints, and will definitely be back.
A.I had long hair and I wanted to go for a short haircut. Charmaine was absolutely amazing. I told her what I wanted and she gave me this amazing haircut. I loved the service. Thank you so much! Highly recommend this place.
E.I asked my friend to bleach my black hair, and he did a great job getting the bottom two thirds to blonde! ... But he ran out of solution, and there was an obvious delineation between the black top and blonde bottom. Whilst I am grateful to my lovely friend, and his colour outcome was fab, and the photos do have comedic value, the overall result/delineation was 'not fit for public consumption', as it were :P So, I went to several stores asking them if they would be able to Please (Please) Fix This, and for quotes -
Henderson Cutting Edge struck me as the best of all my initial quote meetings. Now, having had their service, I stand by that statement and would like to publicly declare my appreciation, in gratitude to them.
I walked in with a layer cake, and with their Hair Magic came out with a style that was, as described by a friend, 'Fashion As.' Somehow they had managed to turn the mistake into an opportunity - I've never had my hair done like this before, and had always thought I'd get an official balayage ombre one day - it's been a real treat looking at my hair in the mirror lately :P I was impressed with Charmaine's (the leader, and the main person who did my hair) knowledge and experience, which really came through in how she spoke, the decisions she made, including improvisation, and the final outcome. Furthermore, the price was reasonable.
Charmaine brimmed with confidence, competence, kindness, and warmth, throughout. One of my favourite things was how she seemed to actually care - both in general she has a genuine passion for hair (it's not just a job for her, it's her dream), and also for me I experienced her as genuinely caring and empathetic about my experience, and the outcome of my hair - it wasn't just a transaction, it felt like she actually cared. This differed with some of the other places I had asked for quotes for. There was an unexpected occurrence with the bleach, and although she could have let me walk out without knowing, she offered a free trim as she wanted the hair to look fab. The other hairdressers present were also really lovely and friendly. And hey, I was treated with free hot beverage.
Overall, they've got a new fan. I rate their service as 5/5 :)

R.Lovely service, excellent hair dressers. Char gave me one of the best haircuts I've had. She's exceptional in understanding what you need, and puts her focus, skills and creativity to give you just that.
A.Been coming here for nearly 18 months now and always walk out happy. Char listens to what I want and has some great suggestions and advice. All the staff are friendly and approachable, studio is clean and prices are very reasonable.
J.The people here are so warm and friendly it is a pleasure to visit. They'll make you tea or coffee and even pick you up one from across the road if you need that expresso hit. I usually have a regular cut and am very happy with the result. I would highly recommend this place.
