Great cut and colour. Lovely staff. Highly recommended. It's a bit more expensive than I'm used to, but if rather pay more and get a decent haircut.

Watching Jess work her magic is like watching a creative genius at work. During lockdown, I saw some of her work on the Exile IG page which assured me that she can produce exceptional results for almost any hair colour and type. I have never seen anyone work as diligently as her, with so much enthusiasm and pure love for her work. She had a vision and realised it. I had no words, it's exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much Jess for your effort and the stunning highlights today - even though you were all so busy the first weekend back after the lockdown. I'll surely be back soon. Tc - Ankita

You are always greeted with a smile when you walk into Exile. Outstanding hair design and care from Jo and the team. Beautiful decor. Lots of parking. No wonder they are in the top 20 hair salons in Auckland.

I absolutely love going to Exile for my cut and colour. I see Jo and she is the best!! So happy I finally went to see her and Jared does the BEST scalp massage ever!!!!! Such a lovely modern salon and everyone is so friendly and professional.

Just recently moved to the area and got my hair done at Exile for the first time. Had a great experience from start to finish. The new apprentice on trial was so lovely and gave an amazing head massage (a keeper I reckon), and the rest of the staff were super friendly. I had Jess do my hair, she did an amazing job and was hilarious to chat to the whole time! Will defo be making it my local. Until next time...

It was my first experience at Exile and I’m so glad that I chose to get my keratin treatment done there. The team is so professional and they cater to all your needs. They listen to you and do exactly what’s best for your hair. Jess is such a lovely person and she does an amazing job. They answer all your questions and make sure that your comfortable at all times during the entire keratin process of 3 hours. Although they were super busy, they made sure that everything was done exactly on time. I’m very happy with the look of my hair and I will come back very soon ❤️❤️ Found my new favourite parlour 😍😍

Brought my 14mth old here to have his hair cut after another hair dresser said he was too hard, they were AMAZING, so many of the ladies were helping to distract him and the hair stylist was so quick and onto it. I won’t take him anywhere else again. They made me feel so at ease as I was so anxious about it.

I was nervous going in for a perm as I didn't know what to expect and had previous bad experiences at other top salons, but from the start I was looked after and everything was explained by all the staff I dealt with - with a smile. I felt relaxed, and the end result was exactly what I was after. I am pretty picky and they knew how to give me what I wanted. Jo in particular is amazing, she really knows her hair and all sorts of tricks. Leave it in her hands and you'll look and feel 100%!

Loved the place, the service, the staff...OUTSTANDING and I would 10 stars if possible.Seriously adorable people,extremely helpful and understanding when it comes to make your big day the best. Jo, Kerry and Jess were the 3 wonderful ladies who not only did my gorgeous hairdo and last minute make-up for my tight schedule wedding but went above and beyond to make sure I looked the way I wanted to. All smiles, great banter and clearly a lovely place to choose. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and will be back soon again. GREAT hairdressers. Listen to their client, offer to fix if unhappy. Always have chocolates to nibble. Relaxed. They even took my baby for a walk when I qas getting my hair done and entertained him for over an hr!

Always professional, from the moment you walk in until you leave. I just happened to have Jess on my first appointment and now I won’t go anywhere else! It’s a great salon and there’s a good vibe among the stylists.

fab hairdressers! Jo & the team are really amazing at understanding what you want. I am not the easiest to please and am always delighted with my hair and the service! My little girl who is 8yrs gets treated like a queen and even gets glitter in her hair and a cup of hot choc! I wouldn't go anywhere else!

There are a few things in life where you keep and nourish long relationships... Your GP, your dentist... For me it's been Amber at Exile Hair. Absolutely love going there, always leave as a happy customer, never disappointed.

I got a crooked hair cut. I paid for a senior stylist who did a really half-assed job. The blowout was really poor. So I went back to ask for it to be fixed. They were more then accomidating - but the stylist wasn't very happy and wouldn't give me a chance to show her where I could see the problems. That stylist was about to leave the country so I assume that she no longer cared and was counting the days until she could leave. I have given three stars becasue the owner can't have total control over these situations.
