I went to FMK after having my hair absolutely butchered at another salon, thinking it was going to be impossible to fix without cutting it all off! Hannah looked after me, explained everything she was doing so thoroughly, and put me at ease. I didn’t have high hopes as my hair was in such bad shape but I’m so happy with how it turned out. They even managed to fit me in for a toner which I wasn’t expecting them to be able to do. Will definitely be back, thanks so much!

I go to FMK for hair cut and keratin, Hana always does an amazing job. She takes her time to make sure every little detail is perfect. I am very happy with my hair cut. The keratin is very good value for the money and for me stays smooth and straight for about 4 months. I’ll happily go back to Hana in few months.

I’ve been getting my hair coloured by Epiphany for the last couple of years and needless to say, I never leave disappointed. She’s such a great asset to the team - super friendly, knowledgeable & very professional (and patient with my thick hair). She always asks what I want to achieve before she begins & ensures I understand the steps it’ll take to get there & the jargon in between. And if it can’t be done in one appointment, she’ll explain why, with the aim of maintaining the health of my hair. Despite the increase in price, there is no other hairdresser (or salon) I’d rather go to (or trust) with my hair. All staff are kind & welcoming! Worth every cent & would 100% recommend!

I had a haircut and perm in a different salon a month ago and it was a disaster. I saw FMK, checked their website and decided to booked an appointment. I was assigned to Hannah and she did a great job! She’s amazing! ❤️

Love the vibe there they do a great job as well our hair looks amazing, 3 of us traveled up from Hamilton.. the prices have gone up by $80 but to be honest l wouldn't go anywhere else .. Hannah has been there from the beginning, lovely nature beautiful person.. great work 👏

Went to have my haircut here for the first time. Really liked the place. Hannah cut my hair she was very nice and I love my haircut this was before our lockdown and plan to return once everything calms done with covid.

I have always been very happy with the results. My hair feels softer and have grown longer with the keratin treatments. Epiphany is amazing and the others also very good too . I highly recommend them.... 19.10.20 I took my cousin in today to get her very long and think hair done for the first time and once again Epiphany, you were amazing. This is my 3rd keratin treatment at FMK onehunga, I’ve always had a fantastic experience. My hair is pretty long, curly and thick but they always make sure to do it right and that i’m happy with the outcome everytime. I’ve been to different salons before but this Salon is one of the best (if not the best). Many thanks to the staff Especially to Lara who did my hair today. Highly recommended!

Got keratin a few years back , went to a few others and they didn’t last at all, this hair salon was the best!! I can’t wait to come back and get it re done .

I had the keratin straightening treatment by Hannah about two weeks ago and have absolutely loved the results. I have received so many compliments on my hair since and have already saved hours as I personally am super happy with how my hair drys naturally now and am no longer spending hours drying and straightening it myself. Hannah was extremely lovely and accomodating during the whole process, yes it does have quite a strong chemical like smell at the time and doesn’t exactly feel amazing immediately after but by the second day my hair was soft and shiny has literally felt and looked amazing since. Would definitely recommend, and will be back!

This was my first Keratin Treatment ever and I am so impressed with how it turned out , the lovely hairstylist who did my hair talked me through the whole process and made me feel so comfortable. I was very surprised with the price it is so affordable especially for a treatment that lasts 3 months , I cannot wait to return. The coffee was also lovely haha ☺️ Highly recommend.

I've been going to FMK for about 4-5 years for Keratin treatments and have always had a great experience. Hannah did my latest treatment and was sweet, caring and informative. I use FMK shampoo and conditioner on my thin, fine hair and am happy with the consistent service I've received over the years. Thank you!!

Happy with my overall experience last week. Hanna did a great job both styling my hair and doing my treatment. She's warm, welcoming, and makes sure she gets every detail of how I want my hair done. I highly recommend and definitely coming back again! :) Really happy customer here.

Life changer! Had my treatment done last week. I can't remember the name of the lovely hairdresser. Was very impressed with how thorough she was especially with the hair cut she gave me. I had Lara do my keratin treatment and she was really nice and welcoming. She made sure that I understood everything and offered me tea or water every now and then. She wasn't awkward and we were talking throughout the treatment the whole time. Thank you so much Lara for your amazing service! The treatment was very strong but the result is definitely worth it. I left the salon feeling like a new person and even now that I have washed it out, I love the natural look that my hair has as well as the shine. It isn't as pin straight as I left the salon and tbh I love that it's not! Also very happy that the salon offers payment options such as Genoapay! Overall, a great experience and definitely will be back! Thank you so much to Lara and the team :)

I had such a wonderful experience here. The staff were so kind and helpful. I'm so happy with my hair now it's more manageable and has so much shine and less frizz. This is the go to place to get a keratin treatment done! So happy!

I recently had a keratin treatment & a haircut by Chris & Epiphany (hopefully I spelt your name right) I love the result. Epiphany did a amazing job, she was hilarious too, so lovely. Been going to this place for almost 2 years now and they deliver just the result that I'm after and more. The staff is very friendly, professional and good at what they do - highly recommend. Just washed my hair after the 3-day post treatment and its worth every penny I spend. Not to mention the beautiful cut I got my hair look so healthy atm. Thanks heaps guys and see ya'll next time. Absolutely love the result from the Keratin treatment. My hair has gone from feeling drab to feeling light and healthy. It was hard not washing the Keratin out for 72 hours, but the end result was worth the wait. As to the $50 surcharge for longer hair, This is stated on the vouchers, which I used so I was well prepared for the additional charge. The staff are friendly enough and informative, but would be nice to have a little more banter as sitting in silence can seem like the hours pass slower (just a recommendation 😊) . Overall very happy. 👍

I had gone for a keratin treatment, and did not find it the best. The crown area of my head had many short strands standing out after the procedure..The back area of my hair looked nice anyway and the procedure was explained well. The owner contacted me yesterday and offered to rectify the issue and I appreciate it.

OUTSTANDING!!!! First time going to FMK tonight. Scored a nice voucher on Groupon but due the second lockdown and afew rebookings I was able to go in tonight. I requested Epiphany due to the great reviews so I have to say a huge THANK YOU to her for doing such an amazing job!!! #yourethebomdotcom Thank you Epiphany and thank you FMK for extending my voucher even though it expired due to lockdown. Definitely looking forward to coming back there again.

I am review Queen! By this I base alot of where I go from online reviews. I had my skepticisms but honestly, after leaving there I had to laugh at all the people giving bad reviews. The lady who washed and dried my hair pre treatment thoroughly explained every step also handed a detail pamphlet. I also over heard her explain exactly the same process to the next set of clients who came through. Coffee was bomb! Not going to lie im sensitive so pasting the treatment in and having it dried out made my eyes water and my nose sting. Again, I was FULLY informed. I'm 2 days post treatment and I absolutely love what I can see currently. I had the whole team do parts of my hair and every lady there was super inviting. I give it up to them! 12 hours on their feet for work is hard! When I'm in Auckland I will definitely rebook ❤

I have been going to FMK onehunga since 2015. I am not an easy person to please. Especially when it comes to hair. FMK always does a great job. Especially Dilni. I always adore her. I love the staff too. Always exceed my expectations. Fabulous place.

The service was okay but I would still go back again. The keratin treatment I recieved was amazing and I love how soft and light my hair is. Definitely recommend this service

Big shout to Lara who made this decision the best yet the easiest one for me. I am not an easy one to please however she did everything to the utmost professionalism and it seems magic on my hair. You are a big assest to FMK family and deserves high praise surely. Highly Recommended. Note- The chemical they use for keratin might burn your eyes however that is just the process and will be worth with the outcome .

Wonderful results...and my hair is beyond hectic! Thick HUGE frizz ball, it looks like cat cough most days and now it looks very presentable indeed. People don't step back in surprise when I walk past anymore. My hair fits through the door now haha.

Have been going to FMK Onehunga for several years now and have always been impressed by Dilini's time and care with my hair. She has always provided consitent quality service. I was saddened when she went on maternity leave but then i had Epiphany and she provided an equally amazing service. Amazing service team! Thank you Dilni and Epiphany!

2nd Keratin Straightening Treatment done yesterday by Dilni again. Amazing! She takes great care and very professional. Very polite staff member (Hannah, I think) great customer service and explained the process plus the surcharge for my hair length. My daughter also had her treatment done at FMK earlier in the week and is so pleased with the result. Love this place.

I don't often place reviews, and usually, all we hear about is how bad some hairdressers are, however, I am over the moon with the service I receive from these guys, that I felt the urge to write something. Although I'm too scared to place this because they'll be more booked up than they are already, that I won't be able to get an appointment. I don't have the Keratin Straightening but what I see leaving the salon when I'm there, is gorgeous. First up they LISTEN to you, their customer service is paramount to them. More to the point, the END PRODUCT I receive, is just what I asked for, every time!!! I have a colour with foils and a blow dry every 4- 6 weeks now, and every time I go away feeling super confident and happy. To top this off they are not super expensive, and you can park right outside the door - no parking costs.

FMK Onehunga's team treat each and every individual with care. That's why they will continually get repeat business. Don't take my word for it. Buy a Grab One Deal or book online. You will not be disappointed. 👀

Amazing customer service 👏 👌 purchased purple shampoo and a conditioner that i have been using for over a month now! Great colour corrector eliminates the brassy yellow tones! Highly recommended 👌

Staff were so awesome, although the salon was super busy there was no sense of stress. They also managed to do an amazing job cutting my super thick, wavy hair!!

Always a great experience, last time I went Hanna took care not to over straighten my hair as it was bleach damaged. Took her time and a lot of care with the hair cut also Amazing result, will be back in the future 🤩

I had the best experience here. This is not my normal salon but I had a group on voucher for Keratin Straightening. There is no parking outside and time limited in car parks on the corner but there is plenty of parking a little way down the road. You wouldn't really notice the salon at first as it is small so use your GPS if you dont know the area. Epiphany took excellent care of me and she was fabulous from beginning to end. I have never had this type of treatment before so she asked lots of questions about what I wanted to achieve and gave me helpful and real information, including what the end cost would be plus products I would need to use to make the treatment last as long as possible. It took a few hours and yes it might sting your eyes but I was told this before we started and was provided with a cloth and mask. I didnt have to use them at all regardless Epiphony constantly checked that I was ok and we had a nice chat. They wash your hair, put the keratin in leave it for 15min, I had a coffee during that time. Blow dry then flat iron. I also got a trim. Your hair looks great after - shiny and straight but does feels a little heavy and greasy immediately after..dont worry too much! I left it in for the 3 days and took care of it exactly as instructed in that time many people commented on how beautiful it looked. Today I rinsed, shampooed twice and conditioned once...my hair is fabulous. I was warned that the treatment doesnt make your hair perfectly straight however I am so happy that I towel dried my hair, ran my fingers through it and left it to air dry. It looks and feels amazing and has no frizz. I am so happy and will continue to use this treatment and salon in future. Thank you Epiphany.

Professional and friendly team, when you sit on their chair, these girls go to work and take your frizz to town and back looking sleek. I had a groupon voucher of $99 for keratin treatment, that I redeemed few days ago. The treatment was satisfactory. I faced some issues related to customer service initially. But that has been taken care of.

I always have a great experience over three but today was the best one ....Dilni and Mandy did my hair ..so professional and thoughtful ...I really appreciate and recommend this place ..definitely 5 stars
