First time going here this evening and I’m glad I made the decision to get my hair done at HeadStart Total Body. From the initial enquiry online, followed by a phone call and the customer experience right to the end was above and beyond. The place is beautifully set up, felt incredibly welcomed by Ceanne and Jess is super friendly and was very attentive to what I wanted. For the first time in a long time, I felt good about how my hair turned out and I appreciated Jess’ feedback to ensure I got the best value. My hair is back to being healthy- yay! Thank you for the great experience, look forward to seeing you again at my next appointment. Keep it up!

What can I say? My first cut in over 10 years and I am obsessed. Steve went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the finished cut and that I was comfortable the entire time. Awesome conversationalist, and this salon is very much my type of place. On top of all that, he helped me know what I need for my hair care at home. You officially have a new regular, highly recommended ♡

I had an appointment with steve he was fantastic first we sat down and had a consultation a week before my haircut as i was going from very long hair to short so total change his consultation was excellent . The next week i went in got a absolutely fabulous cut and then a great colour would recommend him to anyone. He listened to exactly what i wanted and did a great job .as for the team at the salon they are all very inviting and lovely thanks team will definitely be back

For me going out of my very busy life to get a haircut is always special and that’s what I am expecting too: a special moment, something just for me. The team there do not disappoint, they are knowledgeable, nice to talk to and I was thrilled by the hair cut and my time there. Will definitely be back!

I walked out feeling amazing! I had my hair cut by Gina. She was SO good. Have you ever felt tired of looking for a new hairdresser because it's taken you so long to find someone you like? I don't feel like that anymore. I answered a few questions for Gina and away she went, she knew exactly what i wanted. She's very helpful and knowledgeable too so gives you tips to take care of your hair. The rest of the staff seemed very friendly too. They made me feel welcome as a new customer, even gave me a small gift. Had a follow up appointment with Gina and she was again very lovely and thanked me for the opportunity to check that i was happy with my cut. I would happily recommend this place to people looking for a hair cut.

Just had a great experience at Headstart salon. Steve listened to what I wanted and also made some suggestions. He styled and coloured my hair and the result is amazing. The owner Simone is lovely and helpful and all the staff I met were warm and friendly. The salon has a good feel about it. I'd thoroughly recommend Headstart Total Body Salon. 🙂

Simone has the best team of experts working alongside her. Everyone is so welcoming and lovely, never leave disappointed - that's why I've been a client for 7-8 years! Life is better when you find the right hairdresser and beautician :)

Gina you are the best hairdresser I have ever had, I love my colour and cut, extremely professional service. Thank you for also being gentle, the head massage was so relaxing. I went away on my holiday feeling absolutely beautiful 😘 I'm a converted regular now and it's great to have found you.

I brought my 7 year old daughter here for her first real hair cut (she’d only ever had trims) and they did a amazing job! My daughter had long unruly hair that was hard to maintain. They really listened to what we wanted done and delivered. They were so friendly and kept my child chatting the entire time and they even straightened her hair at the end for her. Lovely place and I can honestly say I’ll never go to another hair dresser ever again. This place will be our go to from now on. Thank you HeadStart Total Body.

Haven't been to a decent salon in a long time!! went in got a colour, toner and cut which turn out better then expected! for the first time I got a cut that I wanted and not what the hair dresser wants. Thanks Steve!!

The team at Headstart are wonderful, Simone hires quality stylists, love my hair colour Gina, and thanks to Vanessa my boys have great haircuts too. West Auckland is lucky to have a great salon. Also thanks to Bronwyn for many excellent massages and the odd spray tan, what a talented group of ladies.

Gina is amazing!!!! I've yoyo'd to and from hairdressers my whole life until I found Gina, my first appointment with Gina was after a terrible bleaching experience with another hairdresser, my hair was falling apart!! Gina has completely rescued my hair and taken my once dry damaged and yellow toned hair to the most beautiful healthy blonde I've dreamed of. It's been a few years now and I will never try another hairdresser again! Never move Gina!

Staff are sooooo soooo soooo friendly! Steve is an amazing hair stylist! I went in to the salon with a broken leg and the staff were just so kind and helpful! Would definitely recommend this salon to everyone! Amazing stuff!
