Visited the salon yesterday afternoon following a longish period with no hair care since relocating from the UK and lockdowns. The whole experience was great- Majid who washed, cut and styled my hair made me feel at home and did an amazing job, the salon was clean, trendy and welcoming. All booked in before baby no3 is due for the full works. Really happy to find a local salon to use going forward.

6 years in NZ and first time experimenting with my hair. Thank you so much George and the entire Oblique team to give my hair what I really wanted. Great service, friendly environment, lovely staff. Thank you guys for making my birthday so special. Will definitely visit you soon.

Absolutely LOVE this salon, the team is so amazing and super friendly. When my stylist Amy left I was gutted but little did I know I’d end up with Majid who is absolutely magic! This is my second time Ive had Majid do my hair and it looks amazing, feels amazing and I get so many compliments! I’m sure Majid is great with all colours but for me personally he’s an expert with blonde, I’m naturally darker and he’s made my hair look amazing blonde with the exact tones that suit my skin colour. Thank you Oblique and Majid I’m so so glad we have you in our neighbourhood!

Majid is my hairdresser at Oblique, and I am so thrilled to have found him for my hair. After sever hair damage a few years ago (at a different hair salon where I was dying my hair blonde) I switched to Oblique, and Majid has helped me bring my hair back to health. He is my “hair doctor”, and trust him implicitly. He recently did a keratin treatment on my hair to help it heal too (no more daily blow dry, or straightener) and I am thrilled. He has such good knowledge of hair health, my hair is transformed. So grateful to Oblique and to Majid 😊😊

Majid worked pure magic on my hair - his melting between my natural and newly light highlights were epic at the time and now a few weeks later my regrowth is blending so well - everything is blending so well! Majid is one of those blessings you can just trust to know what you need so just go with it. More than his obvious passion and talent when it comes to my hair, his aura, friendliness and ability to connect (along with a chic while safe setup) made quite a lengthy Friday arvo so easy and relaxing. Still love my new ‘do courtesy of Chenoa at Oblique! I always know I am in good hands there. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted, but after I discussed my hair concerns with Chenoa, she knew exactly what I was aiming for and made the perfect suggestion for my hair. Going shorter to combat post-pregnancy hair growth and darker at the roots so regrow wasn’t as obvious for this busy Mum! The atmosphere is always amazing there and the service great.

Always reliable, caring and gracious. Oblique has served me well for many years. They did my hair wonderfully for my wedding. They have patiently helped me with styles, colours and weaning off colouring. Highly recommended.

Angelique is the best hair stylist in whole of Auckland!! I’m very fussy with my hair and she hits my needs and wants every time. Love my hair colour and cut especially after having a baby my hair just hasn’t been the same and Angelique really looked after me and has done a fantastic job with my hair. Love ya! x

Oblique Hair Spa warmed up my strands with the most gorgeous blonde balayage during 2020 ball season. The highlights of my experience was the attention to detail in the salon services, the accommodating staff, and the endless stream of high-quality coffee. I enjoyed the atmosphere so much that I've been yearning for my next appointment. Special shoutout to Amy for being so lovely!!

I recently had my hair cut at Oblique and highly recommend the salon. The stylist Toshiro was very professional and helpful and I was very pleased with my new hair cut. It is an excellent salon - so I am happy to provide a 5 star rating!

Finally after a long search I found a decent salon for men. I have a long and curly hair. Wanted to get some hair treatment, so contacted the team and Leesa was super helpful and professional. She booked me in with Angelique for some initial consultation. Angelique checked my hair and offered some treatments, I decided to go ahead. It was soooo refreshing. Highly recommended. God job team.

The colour was ok. When I got outside I realised the highlights were a bit stripey and was hoping for a more nature look. Although the hairdresser took lots of time the price was fairly hefty with a conditioning treatment. $100 more expensive than my previous hairdresser who I thought was expensive. I not sure how long I will use them - it wasn’t truly amazing just average although the salon is very nice inside.

A very professional and through service to cut what was a covid delayed mass of hair growth. Paul was committed to making the final cust as perfect as he could.

It was my first time to visit Oblique Hair Spa. I went there without booking but the receptionist was warmly welcomed me and helped me out. It was just a luck that Toshi, my hair stylist had a cancelation on that day. He has done an amazing work on my hair. I totally love it.

A wonderful experience. I am a regular to Oblique and can't recommend them highly enough for the skill of the colourists/stylists to the fantastic head massages at the basin. Good pricing compared to many salons I've used over the years.

I had a lovely experience with Petrina who cut and coloured my hair! She has given me a short edgy cut that I love! As I have thick hair it can be challenging! Oblique is very handy to where I work which is an extra bonus! I definitely recommend this salon as the atmosphere is warm and friendly with a talented crew.🤩

If I could reward Paul and the team a sixth star I would. Leesa is always such a delight to talk with and Paul's service is always to the highest standard. Whether it's a men's cut or a brides party spa day I would highly recommend Oblique.

These guys really know how to give you a relaxing time-out experience as well as a superb haircut. I came here for two years regularly till I moved away. There's an ongoing focus here on great customer service and I felt like my hairstyle evolved over the months into something better than I'd ever had before, ever. Loved the lemon slice in my tea too. Recently visited Angela and it was just the treat I needed. She really took the time to understand what I wanted and gave me lots of super helpful tips that I’d never heard before. Felt absolutely pampered and I am loving my hair! Will definitely be back.

Can be a little pricey, especially for a basic guys cut, but staff are cool and always feel great when I leave. They actually listened to what I wanted and did it!
