I went to Mkau Rodney Wayne this past Tuesday and loved what hair stylist Natasha did with my hair. I wanted a short cut with a suttle chestnut ombre and she delivered. If you have time and money to spare and need a new do, then stop in and see Natasha she's amazing. 😊

Came in here due to a botched job from a previous hairdresser leaving my hair copper 😭 Tasha achieved the colour I wanted in one sitting, (something I was told by other hairdressers wasn’t possible) my hair is now a beautiful bronde im so in love with it! So close to my natural hair colour something I’ve been wanting for years! I would highly recommend Rodney Wayne manukau! Friendly service and amazing hair advice you’ll be walking out the door a new person and highly satisfied 😍❤️ Truly exceeded my expectations, definitely will be back!

We were a walk in at Rodney Wayne Manukau Mall and were immediately accommodated with excellent customer service (Sorry, didnt get the name of he stylist at reception). My daughter had her first haircut and was extremely happy with the end result. She was cared for by the lovely Angeline who not only was an amazing hair stylist but a very professional one too. She paid great attention to detail and gave my daughter an experience she'll never forget. She listened to what we wanted for our daughter and delivered. Thank you Rodney Wayne's especially to Angeline 🤩. Happy Holidays!

A special thanks to Beth! After receiving an horrible experience at another Salon before I had been so scared to dye my hair again. Not only did Beth do an amazing job but she also put in an immense effort with helping me choose the most suitable hair colour! She suggest me an amazing ash brown colour for my hair! I am in love with my hair! I high recommend 😬

Natasha gave me the best haircut ever! Such a professional. I’ve struggled to find somebody who knows how to work with curly hair and it’s so good that I’ve found the place and the person to go to for my type of hair. For some reason, my hair is more manageable than ever. Will defs be back!

Still blown away by the friendly and inviting staff members on today at RW Manukau. I was a walk-in and they sqeezed me in for a cut and colour with Tita. She is AMAZING, best hair stylist I have ever had, my hair feels silky smooth with a cut that suits my face shape and a colour that is gorgeous. Shes so gentle and her professional mannerism is superb. Highly recommend to all.

I've been going to Rodney Wayne Manukau for over 10 years and had the good fortune to have Teresa as my stylist. She has listened to what I want and suggested different styles for my hair that I've loved. After my son turned 2 I took him for his first haircut with Teresa and he now goes to her every month for his hair cut and runs in to see her with a big hug. We are looking forward to getting our hair done for my daughters up coming 21st, I've said for years that if I won lotto, i'd hire her for my personal hair stylist... still waiting for that win... but in the mean time, will Teresa and the team next month.

Took my daughter in to get her hair colored and Beth gave her an unexpected but fantastic makeover. She also gave my daughter a memorable experience with her lovely personality. She's an asset to Rodney Wayne. Everyone i spoke to was very nice and premises very clean well organized. We already have people asking where she got her hair done and by who. We will definitely be back.

Love getting my hair cut here - such friendly staff, I always feel comfortable. I had a really nice wash/head massage last time, and my hairdresser was honest about what I could do with my hair (it’s very fine). Not only did she cut it so it looks great straight, it now has a nice wave/volume due to the shaping in the front. I love my hair again!! Thanks guys, can’t wait to visit again.

I was looking for a good stylist and randomly stopped to chat to a lovely lady called Teresa. We chatted about what she could do with my hair to give it some so needed attention and if it would be possible to do on the spot, she answered yes to all my enquiries and next thing I was sitting in her chair. She was great with all her professional advice and very attentive to a nervous new client. The young assistant Amber was also very pleasant always asking if I would like a coffee and more magazines . By the time I was ready to leave the salon my hair was so soft and shiny for first time in ages. I have nothing but phrases for Teresa and Amber, and no problem in highly recommending Rodney Wayne Manukau the service there is excellent and better than the rest.

Service is great. I get my hair hair done by Teresa. Though i must say, they do charge me a-lot. I remember on time spending nearly $700 as they try to up sell you with their products. They have never been cheap when ever i go there.

Great service love Tressa shes been cutting my hair for 3 years now , wont let anyone else touch it cause I always leave feeling great. Thanks Rodney Wayne.

Went in with a picture off the internet and was delivered exactly what I wanted. Service was excellent with advice based on hair growth direction and how to style further as well as product availability. Prices are on the higher end for barber shop but don't let that deter you. $25-$45 isn't a lot when you get what you actually want. Don't go anywhere else in this area.

I had a very nice experience at the salon. I had no appointment but was seen to very quickly. I shall use Teresa as my hairdresser from now on.

Orson and Santana have done a fantastic job! To go MULTIPLE shades lighter in 1 sitting with my full head of hair intact shows how well they've perfected their craft - thank you so much Orson for working on me and staying after hours to get the job done! Highly recommended!

Chirpy Greetings To All/Kia Ora Koutou Katoa I first had my hair styled at Rodney Wayne Manukau in mid-2016 by Teresa. Since then I have returned two more times and every time left the salon looking like a model, feeling beautiful, and floating on cloud 9 inspiration. At 59, I was looking for a hairstyle with more 'energy.' At my age you become more daring, bold, and definite....yeah!! Also, I work in Mental Health Recovery which is a high demand role so I was in need of revitalising. Teresa transformed my wild and tired woolly mammoth long hair into a pixie short cut with wispy soft face framing ....perfect! Yesterday my 3rd visit to the salon was for my 60th birthday hairstyle which has evolved from 'energy to pizzaz!' Afterwards I noticed compliment looks from the general public, and family comments such as wow...you look great/awesome!!.. the hairstyle really suits you..... Everything at Rodney Wayne from the chirpy reception, the best ever shampoo & head massages in the most heavenly armchairs - especially Teresa's new technician who has a beautiful relaxing spirit, amazing hands, and 1st class attentiveness....made my toes tingle with delight (!), coffee in a real cup, the soothing salon decor and staff movements, to the experience and expertise of Teresa including the strengths-based way she communicates with her younger staff. Teresa also encouraged me to look after my hair (& her styling labours) with the better quality haircare products, and as the High Priestess of Hair, I bow to her. I will be a longtime customer and will do my best to get into the salon more often. I have asked Teresa to never leave Rodney Wayne...hahahaa! All the above would not have happened for any of us without my teen daughter who nudged me into the salon in 2016 after a series of ok but uninspiring haircuts elsewhere. She noticed the young staff had really nice hairstyles and Teresa in particular was in my age may understand my needs. I nervously talked, Teresa encouraged me with professional advice, and together we identified a new hairstyle that we both loved. Sori no pics as I'm from that generation that's not so digital reliant so just image the Pixie Cut on a mature Goddess...hahahaa!! Great up do from the stylist at Rodney Wayne. Very pleasurable experience, except for the grumpy Maitre d!! An ogre at the gateway: wasn't coping at all well with the Xmas rush.
