I loved Hong and her friend. Very accommodating and fussing over me I'm on crutches but I felt so welcomed. I walked in with dry ugly long split ends hair and walked out with very light silky beautiful hair. They know how to cater for island thick hair. Products were reasonable price compared to others in past. I have family wanting to go to her. Thank you both so much I feel amazing and the world is my oyster because of my sexy hair. Permanent straight way better than keratin in my opinion. Thanks again ladies. Highly recommended. Well worth the time and money...

I have been a client for more than 2 years now and will highly recommend. My hair colouring comes out beautifully every time . I get Keratin every 3rd month and they just simply the best. Very affordable, great professional service and always friendly.

I have been getting my hair straightened with the keratin treatment for a few years now. They are really pleasant and I have always been really happy with the result. My hair always feels more healthy and it looks great.

Amazing results for permanent straightening.. very happy with the results and highly recommend for people with thick frizzy curly hair , I am no longer using any heat to make my hair looks good , I just shower , dry it then I got amazing look … thank you so much

I’ve had 2 appointments here. I got permanent straightening done both times and they’ve both lasted a year which I was impressed with especially because I have thick island bushy hair and it was such a success it lasted so long and has literally the best treatment. Thank you for constantly giving me the best experience. The price is also affordable and the owner adjusts her work hours to suit which is even more convenient. Will definitely be back for my next hair treatment! :)

Got my hair permanently straightened here almost a month ago and today its still so straight! I had very thick long hair pretty hard to manage most days and now its so manageable. I don't even have to use a straightener anymore! highly recommend this place! Very good products. Thank you! x

I had and have had twice a year for the last few years the Brazilian Keratin treatment. It's amazing and turns the mess of a frizz ball my hair is, into something amazing. Service at Salon Botique is excellent. Highly recommended 👌

I am really happy with the results of my hair for permanent straightening. Hong was quick to reply to my email with a date, the straightening took only 4.5 hours and the results were really lovely (my hair is naturally very frizzy and thick). The price was very reasonable compared to other more upmarket places which offer the same or not as good results. Furthermore, when I washed my hair 5 days after the procedure, some parts of my hair were still slightly wavy. Hong was nice enough to give me a keratin treatment to smooth those hairs, with no further charge. I will happily come back again after 6 months.

Hong does my nails regularly, and she does a great job. I get the SNS nails. Sometimes with tips, sometimes without. They usually last a good solid three weeks, and any mishaps (usually me catching them a flicking them off) she always finds time to fix up for me.

Wow I am so thrilled to have found this stylist. She was recommended to me being new to the area and my old CBD stylist had disappeared. Really fabulous cut and service. Understood exactly what I wanted and no problem dealing with difficult curly hair. I can confidently recommend Hong Candy as a top hair stylist

I've been visiting Hong at Salon Beautique for my hair cuts ever since I decided to lose my pony tail. Always very friendly and does a fantastic job. Wife gets her nails and hair done as well and always comes out looking fantastic at a very reasonable price. Strongly suspect the negative reviews posted here are done so maliciously. The salon is a clean, professional environment and the staff obviously know their stuff. Highly recommend visiting Salon Beautique, either yourself or as a gift for a loved one!

Fantastic salon, I have my permanent hair straightening and the result is wonderful. I've been to so many salon and this is the only salon who can make my hair so beautiful. Staffs are all so fantastic too. They manage your hair so carefully. Recommended to everybody, try it and you will love it.

Fantastic little home salon, look forward to coming back. Booked online and received both a text and email reminder the day before. Booked a wash, cut, blow wave/straighten. Hong was very knowledgeable about colouring (which I plan to book next) and straightening irons. Was very happy with the cut as well, which I arrived early and was put straight in the chair. Salon is very clean and professional. Also love that credit cards are accepted. Thank you so much Hong.

Great little cute spot. It’s a garage converted home business that is set up so well!!! I had my nails done almost 3 weeks ago now. The nail application was done good. I LOVED how she took care of my cuticles. I’m always so anxious with how new nail techs (new to me) treat cuticles. She DOESNT butcher your nail beds. So I’ve had to edit this review (5/2/19) now that I’ve been there more than 7 times, this place is great for gel nails! The first time the polish only lasted for a week but it’s never happened again since. I’ve been to many other places because she does get really busy but I’ll honestly hold out 4 weeks of getting my nails done to only have it done by her. Colours too chose from are limited tho. Her main business is hair so no instagram nails designs here. but love it tho!

Hong is amazing! Her home salon is just like (or better than) any mall salon and as she doesn't have to pay rental fees for a shop, her prices are not inflated. She gives solid advice & is a very talented hairdresser who is genuinely passionate and honest. I trust her advice & highly recommend her. I straightened my thick hair & it was soft & glossy for months for $300 with my Groupon coupon (new customers only). Other salons charge WAY MORE. Give her a try. She's brilliant!!!

Another addition to the many positive reviews for Salon Beautique... I got a keratin straightening treatment and hair-cut done this late afternoon and I am beyond happy with the results. A lot of time and care was put into my hair. Clean and cosy home salon. Friendly staff. Not busy. Highly recommend to people living in Manukau area or near.

I have visited Hong on several occasions. She is always polite and friendly. I am only able to comment on the keratin hair straightening treatment which I can say is by far the best I have had done and the longest lasting treatment of this kind anywhere in Auckland. Her home " salon " is clean and well presented and in no way fits the description given in some of the previous comments - I can only imagine that these people have some issue with Hong to criticize her or her business in this way. Totally unfair when I consider the experience I have always had with her.

Great service and really good explinations to understand better the differences between permanent straightening and Brazilian. This was my first time and i was concerned a bit at the beginning because i didn't know much about these 2 ways, BUT Huang was absolutely lovely and explained everything, so I'm super happy with my Brazilian keratin treatment and can't wait to go back later on! ❤❤🤗🤗🤗👸

The salon owner has 19 years of experience and each time I've been very pleased with my haircut. Some of these nasty comments are coming from the mate of one of the person who left without paying. So who's the scammer here? The salon is based at a residential area, if you have an issue with this, don't patronize it. Do some research first.

Had my hair fixed yesterday (haircut and perma-straight), it’s marvelous and I’m highly satisfied with the results. It made my hair looked like it’s naturally straight. I’m definitely coming back! Very promp and professional, my family have been coming here for the last year and are always happy with the quality and good honest price for the work done. This shoppe is the most amazing hairdresser and nail shoppe I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. My mother in law gave me a voucher for the place christmas of 2015 and i've been going to this incredible lady ever since. I won't let anyone else touch my hair or nails. I am extremely hard on my hands every day of the week and they stand up to everything I put them through and then some. The owner Hong, is incredibly gentle, polite, caring and the value you get from her is astronomical compared to other places. I'm so happy I found her. I tell all my friends, family and coworkers about her. You will not be disappointed if you take an appointment with her. Hong makes you feel like a million dollars after she is done taking care of you. That in itself is worth it to go to her no matter what her prices were. Her prices are REALLY reasonable as well! It's the trifecta of an amazing establishment! Treat yourself today! You will not regret it!

Found her on facebook and I'm so glad I found her. Very friendly with affordable prices. Very professional set up salon unlike other salons I've been before so old and very untidy.
