I am a massive fan of Valka Yoga products. I purchased my mat about a year ago and it still looks like new. I absolutely LOVE it and I use it everyday. It has such a beautiful energy that I usually leave it out ready for tomorrow, instead of packing it away. It’s inspirational! Also, I highly recommend the copper drink bottles. After about a year of use my husband and I continue to use these everyday and we’re 100,000% satisfied with the quality. They’re truly forever bottles. I have the copper bracelet too, but it’s now a part of me, I forgot about it, so it’s not in the photo. I get a lot of comments because it’s so dainty compared the ugly copper bracelets you see at pharmacies. Finally, EVERYONE needs to buy a yoga belt. These days we spend so much time on devices… I’ve noticed that even teens are looking hunchbacked. I’m hyper flexible so don’t really use it in my yoga routine, but I couldn’t live without it as a posture brace. There are so many YouTube tutorials showing how to use a belt for posture correction/back pain and it’s also my to go to for shoulder stretches. I was always impressed with the personal service, quality of product, prices, and speedy fast delivery. ❤️ You Valka xx

I love my Valka Yoga mat. I've finally found my forever mat. Non slip, and more grippy the sweatier I get, lovely to look at, and feels great under my body. The carry straps are a nice bonus since they're useful as a stretching aid.

I just love my products. It is so hard to find eco-friendly things these days, especially yoga mats. So comfortable to use and made of natural bamboo and rubber. Wonderful people to deal with as well. Speedy delivery, eco-wrapping ... Awesome :-)

I love this mat, i use it for my stretching sessions. It looks and feels really nice. Very happy with my purchase. It comes with straps so it's easy to store it and carry to classes. The communication and service were excellent and i got it delivered very quickly.

I love my new yoga mat bag. It's roomy, nice quality and has great colours. The carry strap is hard wearing and together with the bag looks like it'll last a long time. I'm very happy with it 😊

The only company in New Zealand that I could find that offered a full range of cork products and it is fabulous that they are New Zealand owned and operated!! So very happy to support a local business. I adore my yoga mat, it has had a lot of use over the last year and still in great condition. I think the cork ball and roller are a must have for after a intense workout. When I order these there was a delay getting the stock in and Danny offered me a second cork ball or something of my choice for free (even though I wasn’t bothered by the delay at all). Just shows how awesome Danny and the team are!! Would love to see some eco yoga blankets in the future. Thank you Valka Yoga 💜

I purchased the premium yoga mat for my wife as a gift to replace the other non natural mats she had. At first she wasn't sure, particularly around areas like how well her hands and feet would grip to it. BUT, within no time she was raving about it. Her words were, 'I love it". She usually uses it daily, and when she can, twice a day. We both love the fact it is made from organic cork and doesn't use glue to bind the cork to the rubber base. Natural and sustainable.

I bought the premium yoga mat for practices and it's so great. 2 years and counting of ownership and looks new. High quality product and the sustainability factor is great. Price point is good considering you only pay 20 or 30 more than a regular plastic/rubber yoga mat.

Love the yoga mat, it’s soft and cushiony and just feels so lovely to use! I also love the values of Valka Yoga and awesome to be able to get high quality yoga gear and support a NZ company at the same time. Highly recommend.

When it came time to purchased a new yoga mat, I spent far to long researching all options available (I mean it's like buying a new bed - your going to spend a lot of time on it and it has to be just right!) Fortunately after reading many reviews I choose a Valka mat ... and I LOVE IT!

This is the best yoga mat I have ever owned! I like the grip of the cork, it's helped me improve in my practice because of the solid foundation. It also looks beautiful and I love the earthy smell. I can't believe I was using those other mats for so long! I will never go back. Highly recommend for anyone that wants to take their yoga practice to the next level. Customer service was also fast and friendly.

As someone with chronic knee issues from an old judo injury, I was sceptical the premium cork mat could provide adequate support but the cushioning on this mat is simply marvellous. It’s firm enough that my feet don’t sink into the mat in standing poses, but sponge-y enough to allow the knee to fully support my body weight in a deep lunge without the usual sharp twinges I’d experience in the pose. My mat and blocks get a lot of use morning, afternoon and night and they’ve really stood up well to the pivoting, rubbing, gripping and sweating :) Still smells fresh and woodsy as the day I first received them! The texture of the mat is so lovely and soothing on the skin, I’ve caught mum occasionally sneaking a lie in on it when I’m not using it. I also love the ritual of using the tongue scraper every morning and have noticed a definite improvement in the appearance of my 👅 since using it. The scraper is easy to manipulate and clean and the little loops at the end are handy for pinning them to a cork board or on the wall for storage. The customer service at Valka Yoga has been stellar and communicating with Danny has been a quick, warm and positive experience each and every time. I look forward to seeing more Valka Yoga products with their signature minimalistic/organic/natural aesthetics that’s just up my alley.

I absolutely love my Valka cork yoga mat. Is is so comfortable to work on, is a perfect thickness to cushion feet and knees, and doesn't slip or crunch up during movements.

Awesome yoga mat! We got the premium cork mat and it feels like quality stuff. It doesn't stretch much, it's wider and it doesn't slide. Also clearly love what they're trying to do by planting trees. The order came through super fast as well. Would highly recommend!

I received two premium mats 2 days ago. One for myself and one for my wife. The best mat I have had. The natural materials perform great. Pretty impressed with the premium Yoga mat that I bought. I love the wood/cork kinda smell and texture and the sustainability angle that Valka Yoga brings to the table. I also like the minimalistic, premium feel to it and its got just the right amount of spongyness to it if that's even a word! Haha. Good customer service and communication from Danny as well. I've got my eye on the water bottle because it just looks really traditional and something about it intrigues me. I'll be coming for back for that bottle next! 😄✌🏾

Thanks Valka Yoga for my copper water bottle - I love it. My Auntie actually got me one for my b'day and then I got a 2nd one through Valka and love that yours has a little carry handle so I can pop around one finger as I juggle the other things I carry or easier when I'm walking with it!

Danny from Valka Yoga has been above and beyond with great customer service, I am so impressed. I first bought a cork mat which while very beautiful, didn't suit my Yoga practice very well as the cork mats are more suited to hot yoga conditions (the cork mats are made more grippy with some moisture). Danny kindly replaced my cork mat with one of their new mats which is super grippy and looks beautiful too. I love the copper drink bottle too! Highly recommend supporting Valka Yoga.

Valka Yoga mat is great. I recently bought the large version so my whole body can fit in. I dont really do yoga but I love to chill on the floor and do some stretching and this mat is super comfy and I love it. Also the material is nice and eco friendly. Valka mat arrived super fast in cool packing, great service, definitelly highly recommend this company and their mats. And as a bonus they will plant tree for each mat.

Excellent mat! I've been using Premuim mat for a few months now. It has good grip and cushioning and feels amazing! Great for everyday ashtanga practice and for sweaty intensives. Very easy to look after. Also less impact on invironment. Just perfect!

I feel like I am alot less flexible/yoga esk that most of your reviewers looking at thier photos however I purchased 3 of the copper bottles having read about the health benefits if drinking water from a copper container. When the bottles arrived I couldnt believe how beautiful they are. I purchased one of them to give to someone who is a flexible yoga esk person who loves it and was quite emotional when she got it. Love my new mat and the eco friendly packaging. The mat stays on the floor and feels super comfortable under hands and knees. It is not very gripping but I think it just me as I slip on all mats. 😁

I can't decide which item is my favourite because I love them all. The cork mats are amazing, and over winter you still get that connection to lying on the earth when it's too cold to do so outside!
