Amber is absolutely amazing! I couldn't think of anyone else other than Amber to have done my wedding makeup. From the service via emails, to the service & care given trials & on the day. Amber went above & beyond for me. From changing my makeup trial more than once - then having to change our wedding date more than 3 times. Amber always made herself available. I met Amber at a wedding expo last year and I've honestly never looked back! I'm in the salon regularly for my nails and she has turned them 360 degrees around from ZERO to HERO. They are simply perfect every time! Her advise and natural instinct on what works is just so refreshing... I can walk in exhausted and not knowing what color I want, and she picks something that I end up just loving that suits my skin tone well. She's the reason I now have clear skin and fabulous nails that I am proud of and confident with in advance of my wedding. She also recently did my hair and makeup for my engagement shoot and I trusted her with free creative reign, and I couldn't have been happier!! (Neither could H2B.. he couldn't stop staring and described me as jaw-dropping!) Not only did she accommodate me on a Sunday, but her instinct to switch things up from my day to day look to something more romantic couldn't have been more spot on. I felt like a million bucks and it was still flawless even at the end of a busy afternoon shoot in sweltering heat in the middle of summer after much tramping around the park. Nothing is ever too hard for this lovely lady. She is so accommodating and professional, not to mention a real laugh and a wealth of knowledge in her fields, I rave about her to whomever will listen - for good reason!! Recommend 100%

I have been coming to Amber for manicures and brow works since 2018 and she is an absolute magician. My nails are always perfect and never chip or peel - I still don’t know how she does it but I have never had work this good!! I’ve also recently started using Mesoestetic products under Amber’s advice and my skin has never been better. I have done her new Cosmelan peel treatment and it is epic - my face looks and feels clearer than it did when I was a kid. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Amber for all of your beauty needs and cannot wait to try out more of her Verdo Skin treatments. It’s always such a treat to go into the salon and be greeted by Amber’s smiling face. The salon itself is stunning - cleaned to perfection, relaxing and so lovely to sit back and be pampered in. The snuggly heated blanket on the salon bed is the BEST too. Definitely go and see Amber for all of your beauty needs.

Amber is professional, friendly and so highly skilled. She did my makeup and hair for my wedding and NAILED IT. Husband, family and friends loved it. An issue that I've had with many other makeup artists is that they all left me looking like someone else. Amber glammed me up just the right amount for the wedding photos, but I still looked like myself which was a must for me to feel comfortable. Would recommend her to anyone!!!

I couldn't be happier with my nails being done at Verdo Nails. The staff are very friendly, well trained, knowledgeable and professional, I highly recommend Dannii for a set of long lasting nails. The salon is beautifully and luxuriously presented, fresh and welcoming. Booking is extremely easy on-line, with text message confirmations and reminders. The owner, Amber, also offers customer evenings (including Christmas specials), special deals from time to time, make-up lessons and special occasion hair and makeup. Parking is also easy.

I have been going to Verdo Nails for about 6 years now and every time I go I love my experience. Amber, Polina and Danni are all so profressional but more than that, they are warm and friendly and each time I go in its like catching up with friends! They patiently help when I select the colour I want (even when changing my mind...) and when I want to add glitter (frequently). Having my bridal nails done there was such an enjoyable experience. Booking out the whole salon was such fun! Amber and the girls really make it an experience, highly recommend. The high standard of cleanliness and work ethic just makes it stand above the rest.

I was recommended Verdo by a great friend who shared the secret to fabulous nails. The salon is intimate but relaxing and has the right level of luxury for what is my fortnightly indulgence. All of the girls are wonderful but Polina is my fav and know my nails well. We have a great level of conversation and she is not too intrusive or quiet. Amber did beautiful French nails for me at the start of February. My nails looked amazing for a whole month at which time I had to file the white tips off as my nails were getting too long. All of the clear gel stayed on for another month protecting my nails to grow even longer. Upon removal of the gel after 8 weeks, my nails were in perfect condition! Thank you Amber for really looking after my nails.

The girls take real care with the pedicure giving you really smooth nourished feet ; but more than that Amber and team make having a pedicure a real treat. Amber and her team do beautiful professional manicures, pedicures and tans and its a regular fortnightly appointment I always look forward to. Verdo deserve all their great reviews. This is the best place to get a spray tan in Auckland - so natural and golden looking, you'll walk out feeling gorgeous and confident straight away. Amber and the whole team are super friendly and you feel so relaxed and pampered the whole time. Can't wait to go back and treat myself again!

I have visited Verdo nails twice this summer both times for spray tans. I'm always nervous when getting a spray tan as I don't want to be orange but they use Eco Tan which gives you such a lovely natural colour & doesn't smell nasty. The girls always give you a little take home pack with shower gel & moisturiser. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place that does great spray tans. Thanks ladies :)

Dannii takes such care with my nails and you never feel rushed, even when I spend forever picking a colour! Such great customer service, which I have never experienced from any other nail salon, well worth a visit.

I booked in for a gel pedicure near my birthday around March. I added the skin peel for dry skin as I'm on my feet a lot & they were needing some love after summer. I left the salon with silky smooth feet, pretty pink toes & feeling relaxed from the leg massage. Deffinately a good package when you want to treat yourself.

I love walking into Verdo. All 3 girls know my name and I theirs. It's such a warm, casual and friendly environment. Ambers complimentary baking is an added bonus, as are the Whittakers sante bars that come with the tea! As a busy person I love the fact I can book online at a time that suits me, rather than having to call during business hours, it's a super easy booking system too, real time. Everything about Verdo is good but the best thing is the quality job the girls too. They take real pride in their work and seem to love what they do. Would never go anywhere else now. I recently had a baby so we're down to one income but getting my nails done at Verdo is not something I will give up!

As well as gorgeous nails I wanted to be sure that the salon practices and materials were safe and hygienic. After finding references to Amber speaking out in the media on unsafe practices and what to look for in a nail salon I knew I'd found the right place for me. I look forward to my nail appointments as a fun and relaxing time to choose gorgeous colours, wind up the staff and have a laugh. The minties are great too! The best place to perk you up and leave feeling great and with awesome nails.
