Thomas is absolutely amazing!! I botched my own fringe attempting to cut it myself (never do this) and I was really nervous about trusting a new salon to fix it. Thomas managed to fix the fringe without taking off any length and gave me a trim as well for such a good price. He was so lovely and taught me so much about hair as well! I will definitely be coming back here again. Cannot recommend Thomas highly enough!

I love this hair salon, my stylist Thomas has just moved there. The owners are absolutely lovely people. It was such a relaxed environment and very affordable well worth going. I cant wait for my next appointment.

I went in for a last minute hair wash & blow dry. Irina was kind enough to squeeze me in between her appointments and although I told her just to do a blow dry without curls as I didn't want to take her time, she saw my hair and insisted that curls would go well and took the time out to ensure the job was well done. This is definitely not one of your snazzy salons and yet Irina made the best first impressions.

The owner did such a great job on my hair! She was really friendly, understanding and did exactly what I asked for. She had a great understanding of how my hair would act after the haircut (because I have curly hair). I would happily come here again! The price was very reasonable.

So glad I found Wairau Hair Design! Went in for a style cut into a bob and colour foils and absolutely love the end result!! So professionally done, the team are very friendly, the salon is spacious and clean and the prices are very good. My 6yr old also got his hair cut at the same time which looks great. Thanks team for a wonderful experience.... I will certainly be back for more :)

Irina and her staff are pleasant, helpful and provide a very good service. Parking can be a problem as you share it with other businesses. Always glad to see you if you haven't been for a while.

Very glad I went here to get my hair done! I had a keratin treatment and the hairdresser was very attentive towards my hair, took the best care of it and gave me good advice. Overall, I am very happy with my new hair texture and cut, so I would really recommend going here :)

I come here for trims at a reasonable price. I stopped going for a while when someone else did it for me and she cut too much off. Can be pushy about selling other products but I think they know now that I only come for trims. The Russian lady is the best and you can tell she knows what she's doing.

The blonde lady from Persia did a great job trimming my hair. She's very friendly. Great conversation. The guy was also very friendly, chatting with my mum while she waited for me. Great price. I highly recommend.

Great affordable prices for hair cuts, I was able to walk in with my daughter without a booking and still get seen. They were lovely and quick with my daughter (2yr old) made a normally hard thing to do quite easy and seamless.

I have been doing my hair with Ira, the specialist from Wairau Hair Design for about 4 years now. Ira has moved to Wairau about a year ago and the new salon is absolutely amazing! It takes me about 30 minutes more to drive to the new salon, but I happily do so because I know that my hair will be amazing every time I go there! The staff are incredibly skilled and they really listen to their customers' wishes. I have tried many salons in Auckland and I can honestly say that this is the best I have been at. My hair has never looked better. Thank you guys for looking after me x

Visited Wairau Hair Design several times. Exceptional service, very friendly and professional staff. The salon is very welcoming, and if you have to wait, there is a big couch to seat back and relax :-) BTW, the salon is under new management. I'm always happy with my haircut. Thank you guys. Welcoming, professional and great value for money! My partner and I live in the CBD but were doing some shopping in Wairau Park and I popped in to get a haircut, excellent service, quick and only $20. MY partner has been back since to get her hair done (cut, color and something else) and is super stoked with it. Highly recommend! A+

If i can give more stars, still not enough. I dont know the guys name but I prefer to get cut from that guy. Is he owner? Today he said, how are you son.! So amazing haircut plus always welconing face even in busy time. They got one regulat customer long ago. Thank you for lovely haircut.

Best Hair dressing salon in Auckland. Great prices and super friendly staff who know what they are doing. Plus they have couches and a T.V for the kids to relax and watch toons on!

My favourite hair dresser. I live in east auckland and always end up driving all the way here to get my hair cut. $20 for a good hair cut is a pretty good deal.
