Today was my first time at Jingles and I was very impressed with the quality of service by all team members. I have very curly hair and so was quite nervous, but Ann-Marie took AMAZING care of my hair. She explained everything that she was doing in detail and left my hair looking, feeling and smelling great. Can't wait to come back. :)

Love this place. I have curly hair and have found that Ann Marie is a wonderful stylist for curls (and all hair types). Highly recommend her and the whole team - they are all super friendly and helpful. Lovely salon. If you have had bad experiences with cuts due to having curly hair and are looking for a stylist who knows what to do then I definitely recommend this place as the place to go.Have now had three cuts and two colours and foils and all have been of an excellent standard.

I am currently 37 weeks pregnant and went to Jingles for a last minute pick me up before our baby is here. I was a bit nervous at first but once I arrived, I was greeted with a warm positive welcoming. Everyone at Jingles was kind and amazing. I had Lucy work on my mop and did a fantastic job, my hair feels and looks healthy and exactly what I wanted - far better then I anticipated! She was also very helpful with future hair tips and understanding that I could not sit too long with a bump. Would absolutely highly recommend this salon! Can’t wait to come back again soon 😊😊😊

Lucy is a very good stylist! Knows exactly what she’s doing and doesn’t make false promises if she’s unable to achieve the desired outcome! She did a good job. I’ve been to 3 other salons in Hamilton and was only able to get the desired result at Jingles. Would highly recommend

Love this warm, friendly talented team. I’ve been super happy with the cuts by Ann-Marie. And the girls do a great job on the scalp massage when washing my hair. In fact, I was so happy when I got married in February I booked myself and my bridal party in (five of us). Owner Ann-Marie was awesome - she enabled my make-up artist an area of her salon to set up and work in, and gave me the thumbs up to bring in some bubbles and a platter to keep us all going. The team helped keep us to time, for which I was enormously grateful, and I was really happy with the hair.

This is a bittersweet review. I had a great consultation with Guinevere, and I was very pleased with the haircut she did for me. Unfortunately she has now moved on, and once more I'm seeking a stylist. Jingles has an upmarket ambience, everyone was very professional and customer-focused.

This was my first time booking in to Jingles for a cut and full head of foils. The stylist was professional and very knowledgeable, unfortunately I was overcharged an incredible amount, possibly an error in what was loaded in the system. However the owner has been in touch since and resolved this promptly with a partial refund which I appreciate. My only recommendation as a first time client is asking what stylist you are booking as the website didn't reflect the correct information at the time and maybe asking upfront if there's any add ons e.g. treatments/toner etc. Other then that happy with the overall cut/colour.

Beautiful salon, friendly staff, clean, bright. Unfortunately was given a completely different haircut to my inspo pics. The pixie I wanted was quite youthful and fresh. But the haircut I got very much has “middle aged schoolteacher” vibes. Cut too short on top (pixie) so no way to remedy. Razor used has made my ends all frizzy like split ends, due to my hair texture being too fine. Hate having to use product daily, but no choice with these ends! Came back in to have some extra weight thinned out and some of the frizzed ends dusted which made me much happier, as it looked so much better - but ultimately it isn’t the style I wanted. I just have to wait for my hair to grow out, which is kind of the last thing you should be thinking when you’ve just spent $100 on a haircut.

EDIT: the owner kindly phoned to apologise for my previous bad experience and offered to redo the hair cut complementary. Good service, no complaints. Thanks Ann-Marie! Had my hair cut twice here. The first time was brilliant, the stylist was very diligent in her work and did an excellent hair cut. Her name was Rose. She was the reason I returned a second time. Unfortunately, when I went back recently, the quality of service was poor. I had booked online for an appointment with someone different. The previous stylist wasn't available or wasn't working there anymore. I showed up to my appointment 10 mins early, the apprentice quickly washed my hair and then I was sat in the stylist's chair. Everything was fine until now. I don't know if there was an issue with their online booking system but I had been forgotten about and was sitting there with wet hair for half an hour. The owner realised I was her client and quickly cut my hair without asking anything about how I wanted it done, the whole process would have been about 10 mins. I ended up with a simple blunt cut below the shoulders, not terrible, but not what I was expecting. Her client who had a later booking had arrived and she rushed off to cut their hair. She was very professional with this client and spent a lot more time on her. All in all, I'm disappointed that I received subpar service and had wasted about three hours of my day for a service that would have been completed in half an hour total. Maybe it was just a bad day for the salon, but I'm apprehensive to return. Not worth $92 of service.

Bring a little bit more time, but it’s absolutely worth it! They put great efforts into making you feel comfortable and to discuss the haircut with you, very skilled hairdressers! I would definitely come back! Super happy with the haircut, great value for money! And they’re just lovely people as well.

Love this place. You go in and you leave with exactly what you want. My hairdresser (Rose) is precise, skilled, and always pays individual attention to each client. When I decided to cut my hair short, she took her time, making sure I was comfortable with each potential length (as I was quite nervous about going short) and afterwards she took time to teach me how to style my new haircut. I wouldn't go anywhere else to cut my hair.

Stylist provided a quality cut and listened to me which was great! The apprentice did a dismal job of washing my hair only washed once and didnt get in and really wash the entire scalp which was annoying. The scalp massage with the conditioner was also dissapointing, the girl seemed distracted, and ran cold water on my scalp for about 1 min until it warmed which I thought was unprofessional. There seemed to be about 4 school age children floating around idol which I thought was bizzare when they are trying to promote an award winning premises. The prices are misleading the website states 1 price and I was quoted another price. Theres also a green fee which I dont mind paying but you could atleast promote sustainability by putting a sticker on your door or something advertising this to your customers that's clearly visible. The inconsistency between the wash stylist and completion of service needs some improvement. The whole experience didn't warrant $92, post COVID-19 people are eager to get into a salon for a quality experience.

I've made Jingles the only place I go to for a hair cut in Hamilton. Why, the quality of service is impeccable, the staff are friendly and welcoming and my hair cuts are always consistently good. I've never left Jingles with a bad hair cut and I've been going to there for a few years now. 5 out of 5.
