Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were efficient and showed an interest in their customers. The hair dresser gave helpful advice when asked about ongoing management of my hair issues. I will go back!

These guys are great. Had a lovely experience and they tidied up my really long hair for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend and will definitely be going again.

Really impressed with Louise. First time cutting my rather challenging hair and she did a great job. Friendly professional service and I really appreciated that she took the time to discuss my options and recommend the best style.

Lovely salon and great atmosphere. I would truly recommend this salon to anyone. Vicky is my hairdresser and she is awesome. And the other hairdresser standard of work is also excellent. Try them they make you feel welcomed

I love going to see Vicky at the salon. Walk in feeling like a mess and walk out feeling like a princess. I've had cuts and colours done by Vicky and she knows just what I like and what suits me best. Salon is so friendly, modern and welcoming and well priced

Really love this salon. Friendly and well organized. Vicky gives the best advice on colour and cut. I really respect her opinion and my hair is much better for it. The coffee is yummy thanks Ladies.

The salon owner Katherine has been amazing since I had a bad experience with a stylist, made me feel at ease and put a conditioning treatment through my hair, and having me back to correct the colour when my hair is recovered a bit more. That is absolutely great service to know that if things go wrong, and sometimes they do, that they will look after you and make sure that your hair looks great and a professional result is achieved! I look forward to seeing the end result 😊 Previously, with a different stylist I asked for a full head of highlights because I tie my hair up, and explained that I wanted low lights mixed in so that I didn't look too blonde and that I hated that light to white blonde look. After putting my foils in she began adding foils to another clients hair and even went outside to move her car. During this time she never once checked my hair. I could feel a lot of heat and I heard some bubbling in my foils near my ears. Every other time, I've had someone come check at least every 30 mins to check my hair . No toner was used when washing my hair and when she dried my hair about 4 full brush loads of hair came out and hair was flying off my head with the blow dryer (i could see it in the mirror flying away). After straightening my hair I paid and left the salon. I'm guttered as I now have very light hair with dark sections underneath which shouldn't happen. I paid $180 to get my hair destroyed and I've had to buy a moisturizing mask for $30 to hopefully stop my hair from falling out and looking dry. I have never had so much damage done to my hair.

I drive from Motueka to visit Vicky at Katherine Soper Hair and Beauty, Parkers Road, Tahunanui, every five to six weeks for a hair cut and I'm always extremely pleased with the results. Vicky has a great personality, is very friendly and is a very talented hair cutter and always listens to my needs and offers advise as to what suits me best. It is most worhwhile making the drive down and I would recommend Vicky to any person wanting a great haircut,
