Originally, I was incredibly nervous about getting my make-up done, as a girl that doesn’t often wear make-up, I was worried I wouldn’t look like me on the day of my wedding. But Sophie did the most incredible job! From the second we met, I felt at ease and could trust her expertise. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day thanks to Sophie, my make up was natural and my hair was exactly how I imagined it would be. My bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning, somehow our make-up survived the tears, the humidity and the rain! I didn’t touch up my make-up once all night.

Sophie and her team did such a stella job for my wedding hair and makeup. I loved how glam but natural everyone looking-including my mum. My bridesmaids were super happy with their look and everyone felt amazing! Thank you again Sophie and team

I booked the Lipstick and Co for my wedding day for my own hair and bridesmaids hair. I pre-sent some images of what styles I liked, and on the day they asked which one I wanted. I was lucky to have Miti, was amazingly wonderful, down to earth and always had a smile on her face. Miti did hair and makeup for groom's mother and myself and especially with the change of mind of makeup and hair styling from the trial to the actual day, she pulled it off! I love it so much, everything was perfect, stayed in place and lasted the whole night. Thank you to Abby doing my bridesmaid and my mum’s makeup and hair, they both looked beautiful on the day! Sophie was amazing! She gave me options for my hair on the day of the trial, and looked through photos to help understand the look I was going for. My Maid of Honour had really thin hair and we weren't sure what could be done, Sophie worked wonders! We felt gorgeous and everyone said we looked stunning. Sophie is so incredibly talented that she even fixed my dress when we noticed it needed some mending on the morning of the wedding! I can't recommend her enough. Thank you Sophie x

Sophia is an absolute gem!!! She turned me from mumma bear to glam queen all within an hour. She is so so lovely and easy to chat to and her make up skills are out of this world! Wedding- Jan 26 2020 I had a great experience with Sophie and Lipstick and Co. My trial went very smoothly and Sophie was very helpful with suggestions for my looks. I was very happy with my hair and make up for my wedding day. Yasmin did my bridesmaid’s hair and make up. She received many compliments and really enjoyed the experience. Despite the early 6am start both Sophie and Yasmin came to our house full of energy and created a lovely environment to get ready in. Would definitely recommend Lipstick and Co. for hair and make up!

I used Lipstick & co for my wedding & bridesmaids makeup/hair - Sophie & Yasmin were incredible, they were so easy to get along with, they made you feel relaxed and beautiful, my bridal makeup and hair lasted through my tears at the ceremony to my dancing the night away on the dance floor. I showed them pictures of what I was after & they delivered with amazing results! Honestly with the stress of wanting to look perfect on your wedding day, I couldn’t have asked for anyone better - you girls delivered with excellence & always with a smile! Oh my goodness, the team was just so amazing on the day of our wedding. Abbie, Zea, and Steph came bright and early to my house to do our hair and makeup and with such friendly and fun attitude! It really made it a great start to the day. Their skills are absolutely fantastic! The hair and makeup lasted all day without really needing to touch up much in the evening. And Sophie was just so kind throughout our whole planning process, you could really tell she wanted us to have the most fantastic day. Would definitely recommend Lipstick and Co to everyone!

Amazing team and hair and make up turns out so well! The day we got married there was a lot of wind and our hair and make up still managed to hold! I also recommend booking a trial and then doing engagement photos afterwards. I wasn’t quite sure about what I needed to do in terms of looking after my skin and hair, however, Sophie was very caring and really helped with her honest advice about preparations leading up to the wedding day. She never once tried to upsell anything and responded quickly to questions I had. I definitely recommend lipstick and co to use on your special day! 💕

Tash, Tamara and Caren did the hair and make-up at my wedding in 2020. They were truly a beautiful group of ladies, who were really fun to spend the morning with, and did an absolutely amazing job of our hair and makeup. I could not fault anything about them and would hands down recommend, and use them and Lipstick & Co again.

I booked Lipstick & Co to do my hair and make-up for a ball. Lipstick & Co made the whole process so easy, from communication with Sophie to the hair and make-up by Yasmin. Yasmin did a brilliant job; exactly what I wanted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lipstick & Co and will be certainly contacting them next year. Thank you Sophie and Yasmin.

Just want to say a massive thank you to Sophie and the team. Sophie did such an amazing job with my hair and make up. She was always asking if the make up and hair was good throughout the whole process. The bridesmaids loved their hair and make up too. Great packages for hair and make up. We used Lipstick and Co for our hair and makeup for our bridal party plus the mums. Martina and Ru were both so amazing! They did a fabulous job with everyone, they slotted in to our very relaxed and chill vibe. We really enjoyed their company and banter! The makeup stayed on all night and hair didn’t budge, even with a lot of dancing and shenanigans!

I had Abby and Jerusha do the makeup and hair for myself, my mother and my bridesmaids for my wedding in March 2020 in Auckland. Abby did a great job for my trial and on the big day - my make up stayed perfect the entire day and night. She was also really helpful and friendly over email whenever I had questions or ideas to share with her. Both of them were very professional and fun to have on the day. Thank you!

Sophie was an absolute dream to work with. She made me feel 100% comfortable on our big day and was super fast with all communication. Sophie and Jenny recently did hair and makeup for my wedding in mid-jan. I was so impressed with the job they did. They were both so friendly and easy to get along with, and took on board the small minor changes that we requested on the day without hesitation. I don't typically spend a lot of time or money on doing my hair and makeup and didn't have much of an idea of what I wanted initially, but at my trial Sophie really took the time to talk me through options and what would look good. I was so happy with the final result. 100% recommend Lipstick & Co!

Sophie and Yasmin make an awesome team; their communication, skill and beautiful personalities shone through - not only did they make myself, my 5 bridesmaids and my 2 mothers look amazing, they were also super lovely to spend time with on the wedding morning. Not to mention – they drove all the way out into the middle of nowhere super early in the morning to make sure we were all ready on time… Thank you ladies, I would hire you both again in a heartbeat!

From my first contact with Sophie she was friendly and very helpful. I had my trial and Sophie did an amazing job and we only made 1 change for the wedding day. For my wedding day, Sophie and her team were early, bubbly and did a wonderful job on my myself, my 3 bridesmaids, mum and our family friend. Everyone had different skin types and Sophie and the team had so much knowledge to make sure everyone was happy and looked stunning. We all got a little touch up bag which was needed on such a hot day and after eating and drinking. I will definitely be using lipstick and co for future events.

The girls at Lipstick and Co are absolutely fabulous. We were attending a wedding on Waiheke island from Sydney and I was able to organise everything via email seamlessly with Sophie. We had a lot of changes with what we wanted and it was never too much of a hassle. The international payment was simple! Abbie & Zea who did our hair and makeup on the day did a great job on a group of women ranging from 27 years old through to 67! They made the day so enjoyable and added to our experience. Thank you!

My husband and I got married at the Hobbiton Movie set in May and Sophie and Sita from Lipstick and Co were my hair and makeup artists for my big day. Lipstick and Co came as a recommendation to us from our photographer Fluro Grey and I’m so glad this was the case, as I couldn’t have chosen anyone more perfect than Lipstick and Co. I planned my New Zealand wedding from Australia, and it’s usually recommended to have a bridal hair and makeup trial a few months in advance, however, Sophie was more than happy to travel to my accommodation just 5 days before my wedding. I had brought my collection of Pinterest photos and Sophie was able to beautifully recreate my elven-style braids I always dreamed of. She also perfectly created the makeup style I wanted from my descriptions and photos. On the day Sophie and Sita did hair and makeup for myself, my mum and my three bridesmaids. Sophie was able to do my hair and makeup exactly like my trial, while also making some slight adjustments. Sophie and Sita perfectly matched foundation and hairstyles for different hair types and skin tones for my girls with ease. Once we were ready, we were all very sad to see Sophie and Sita leave as it was such a pleasure having them with us as we got ready and it felt like we were saying goodbye to friends. If you are looking for a professional team to make you look and feel amazing, look no further than Lipstick and Co.

Sophie (and the team) was amazing on our wedding day and makeup trial/ engagement shoot. She chats like an old friend and really helps you feel comfortable, taking the time to get to know you and what look you are after to feel yourself- but the best version. I really appreciated her knowledge in all things makeup as I have problem skin and know nothing except for plastering it on to coverup! I had such a great experience with Sophie. She was so accommodating for my hair & make-up trial given I don't live locally, was able to translate the description of what I was after into a look that made me, my bridesmaids & mum feel amazing and added to the fun of our morning!

I could not recommend Lipstick & Co enough for the amazing job they did 're.hair and makeup for our wedding. Despite the crazy wind and rain on the day, hair and makeup held up perfectly for all of us, which for someone with extremely frizz prone polynesian hair I was blown away by how well it all held together. Sophie and Jola were AMAZING! Super professional but also very easy to chat with and were great at putting our minds (especially mine) at ease given the weather on the day. Not just with regard to hair and makeup but generally just giving off great vibes and sound advice and kind words for the day. Everyone commented on how natural but beautiful the makeup was which was perfect, as a group of gals who don't usually wear make up we were blown away by the result. Sinead did the hair and make-up for my wedding and she did an amazing job. She is a punctual, professional and lovely person to deal with. We did a trial first and she did a great job then but I wanted to make a few changes on my wedding day and this was no problem at all. She knew exactly what look I was talking about and did an amazing job without any hesitation giving me the look I was after and making me look and feel absolutely beautiful. Sita came to my house for my bridal hair and makeup trial and I already felt comfortable with her. She is so down-to-earth and patient. She is super organised and replies quickly to your queries. On the day of my wedding, Sita and Rene came to do hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids and my mum. Sita accommodated for my last minute changes and made me look stunning! I have hooded, Asian eyes and oily skin, but thanks to Sita, my makeup was flawless throughout the whole day even after shedding a few tears and rain. I usually get eyeliner/mascara transfer but that didn't happen at all! Not to mention my hair - Sita made it so elegant and gorgeous. It also held through wind and rain. Rene was super lovely and so chilled out. She made my bridesmaids look absolutely amazing and worked with their hair length/hair type. As mentioned, there was wind and rain on my wedding day, but their hair and makeup stayed beautiful all throughout the day. Thank you so much Sita and Rene! We received many compliments from my guests! You two are beyond amazing at what you do. Not only that, you two are beautiful ladies inside and out. This five star rating doesn't even justify Sita Engling's talent. I've had tons of experience getting pro makeup done in Japan, Australia and New Zealand and she is by far the best makeup and hair stylist I've known. I didn't know I could look so good with the right makeup and hair (lol). She really brought out the best part of me for my wedding day. I loved the look so much that I ended up hiring her 3 times (wedding + 2 post-wedding shoots)! She is also brilliant with people. Throughout the 6-month of my wedding preparation, she was so responsive to all my emails and always end her reply saying "Yup, we can totally do that!". She accommodated all my demands (I'm sure some were really hard to achieve) and still made me look my best. Visually speaking, yes, the locations, the dress, the flower.. all were important part of the wedding but Sita really was the one who completed it all.

Sophie was my makeup stylist, and she was wonderful! She was friendly, meticulous and professional! She catered to my taste, and did not impose her opinions on me. Would recommend Sophie for any bride!

I had Sita do my hair for my wedding and reception and it was beyond amazing!!! I had compliments all day and night about the hair dos! I had a veil on all day and my hair stayed put the entire day! My hair do for the evening didn’t budge even though I spent all night dancing. The Indian jewellery and accessories were placed perfectly in the hair. I highly recommend Lispstick and Co and would definitely book with Sita again!!
