So happy with my experience, it was the first day of Level 2 and all the staff dealt with this amazingly. Nina did a fab job with my hair... I can't wait to go back soon :-)

This is my hairdressers, they do a great job. They are friendly and know about hair, also they are reasonably priced. I've been using this branch in particular for about 4 years

Spacious place, value for money, seating arrangement if waiting, staffs are friendly and passionate about what they do. I got the hair cut done here recently and It was my first visit. Harmony cut my hair and she was great and very good at it. I could literally see that she loves her job and has a great passion for it and it makes a big different that not just the customer but also staff cares about you and your hair. I was very impressed with the haircut at the end. I have had my hair cut done from various expensive and big hair salons before but none were like this. I will definitely go back to them again. Best wishes to Harmony for her passion.

I count my lucky stars when i came across Gabriella Louise, She listened to my expectations and made her recommendations as to what she saw and what she could do to improve my hair. It was nice seeing someone who enjoys her job and wants to make sure that everything that is done is to expectations of the client. thank you so much!

Had the best colour and cut in years. Better than in Auckland and Amsterdam. Lisa is truly amazing . The colour is fantastic. Her understanding of my hair and what colours would suit were sublime. I love it and the colour is so flattering. She is technically amazing. It was also incredible value. Lisa please move to Auckland. Otherwise I will have to come down here.

Friendly staff Value for money Won't be disappointed First time in queenstown and was cutting it fine for a style cut for a wedding on Tuesday so got in early. Stylist was Gabby and she did such an amazing job at such a great price i couldn't leave without giving her a tip. My hair is quite long and i don't get it cut often and gabby took such great care of me and had a great chat to boot. You can never trust your stylist if you can't have a good chat. Hope your mums wedding goes off without a hitch!

Had my hair transformed after doing an ill advised box dye at home! I've very long hair and the lovely Gabby done such a beautiful job! Went from a dreadful orange/yellow, to a warm multi tone balayage that's lifted my confidence back to where it should be. Highly recommend with the added bonus of Genoapay available!

I’ve just had my hair done by Gabby, and HOLY MOLY that woman knows how to treat blonde hair. She was so genuinely helpful in answering all my questions and suggesting what to do with my hair. And a lovely gal in general! Couldn’t recommend her enough. She’s never allowed to leave town now.

I have been going to Grainne for years and absolutely love her personality and the work she does. She is so incredibly talented and always up for a challenge. I now live back in Christchurch and only see her making a special trip down for her to do my hair. She is amazing!!!

10/10! I’ve been going to hair on five for the last few years and have never had a bad hair style from this salon. I’ve recently gone from dark brown to a nice soft blonde and I love it - especially as it’s still in good condition even after being coloured. Ask for Grainne as she is a colour expert and always listens to what you want - can’t recommend her highly enough. Friendly, tentative staff - always a great experience!

Highly recommend Hair on 5 Mile! All the staff are friendly and welcoming and Grainne is literally the only person I’ll let touch my hair. She is absolutely amazing with colour and knows how to read what the customer wants.

My unruly curly mane of hair was finally tamed by the lovely Grainne. Her knowledge of colour has been put go the test by my constant need for change and her curly blow drys get me the world of compliments. The shop is a pleasure to visit always being greeted by the friendly and professional staff.

Amazing salon with incredible service... Grainne the Irish hairdresser was so helpful and gave excellent service - My colour and cut is brilliant and I always get stopped by people asking where I got it done and who did it - love my new look :) ... also for blondes out there the angel lavender tone corrector is amazing to keep that real yellow look away and you can buy it in the salon! Can't recommend them enough - 5 stars :)

Highly recommend Grainne @ Hair on 5 Mile to anyone wanting trust in your hairdresser. Being naturally dark she has taken me to a lush light blonde and all the colours in between without damage. Honest with her opinions to ensure you are understanding exactly what to expect as a result. Her knowledge and skill are by far some of the best i have ever come across. The salon is professional, and all the staff make you feel very welcome. Leave feeling fab everytime!
