My first time visiting Shine and I have had the best experience! Tyla is not only gorgeous but she is insanely talented with hair. I left feeling pampered, encouraged and beautiful! I highly recommend this salon and am glad to say that I have found my forever stylist! Thanks Tyla x

I've said it before and I'll say it again, If you want the beautiful salon experience without being made to feel small this is the salon for you! Awesome staff, proper consultations every time, great products and the perfect atmosphere 👌 Oh and obviously you'll step out looking and feeling like a million dollars!

Honestly couldn’t recommend this salon more highly even if I tried! They have invested so much time into my hair - and the girls are so lovely! Plus, bubbles on arrival? Yes please! The results are always fabulous, always in a timely manner, and the girls make you feel at home. I would vote 6 stars if I could!!!

First time at shine was recommended by the stylist for some highlights on top was keen to go with the flow and just love it so much ! Reply knowledgeable stylists , the salon is huge offering tea coffee or wine how good - lovely professional service and friendly staff and a free blow wave follow up appointment how good ! Finally have found the best salon in the bay to get my hair done wouldn’t go anywhere else now ! Thankyou Shine Hair 🥰

Just had my first appointment at Shine. Having recently relocated to Tauranga I needed a new hairdresser after having to leave mine behind after nearly 8 years. Sam did a beautiful job of my hair - I’m beyond pleased 😍 and I felt so pampered. Lovely way to spend the afternoon and what an amazing experience. Shine has made the transition so easy!!!

I just love Shine! Sam and her team are just amazing! Everyone makes you feel so welcomed and special. Sam always makes your experience at Shine relaxing and enjoyable. I love all the cuts, colours and treatments that Sam and her team does, they always get it spot on and offer really good advice. The loveliest staff ever... and I really appreciate the care that is taken with my colour and cut.

I got a specialized hair treatment done here that so many other hair salons are not trained in. I got permanent hair straightening done. After an intial consultation Sharni was happy to go ahead with the treatment. My hair is super straight and with the right products my hair is in great condition. I highly recommend Shine for specific treatments as they are confident and knowledgeable in areas other salons have zero training in. A really friendly professional experience . Love my New Hair! xxx

Love Sam and her team, they really look after you (not just your hair). A couple of times things haven't gone to plan with my hair, only because I am so dark and I have asked for it to be lightened quite a bit. They will always fix anything you are not 100% happy with, no questions asked. They are the best.

Sam has looked after me for over 3 years now. She always makes me look/feel fabulous and makes recommendations for my hairstyle and colour which I have full confidence in. I'm greeted with a warm welcome and lovely smiles from her and her team and just love going to get my hair styled and coloured with Sam.

Shine is such a gorgeous salon, the ladies are incredibly talented, bubbly,kind and knowledgable about all they do. My daughter who has anxiety and came in to get her hair coloured for the first time, was looked after in such a beautiful supportive manner we will definitely be back again and the colour is stunning!!!! Thank you shine and thank you Sharni for the gorgeous colour.

Have been going to Shine for quite sometime now and will continue to. As soon as you arrive you are welcomed with a smile & when I leave I'm smiling. The hairdressers are great . Kylie is who does my hair & she is amazing. Thankyou to all the Shine staff.☺

Great choice of stylists with lots of experience, kind and helpfull with great advice. A large salon with lovely large windows giving natural light. Awesome tea, coffee or wine service as well.

Kate is really amazing and went to great lengths to fix up my hair when I wasn't 100% happy first time round (and that what was a one off, every other time she has been totally brilliant). Nice salon atmosphere.
