Warm friendly welcome when we arrived for my birthday treat. The ladies were professional and made us feel really special. We had a couples massage and facial which was incredibly relaxing and made our skin feel so soft. Afterwards we had a lovely walk to the lookout with some amazing views and then went for lunch. We both chose fish and chips and the portion was huge! Very tasty and delicious food washed down with a cider and cold beer. Great treat 🌟

Friendly place. Helpful. Lovely stone bath area. Fluffy towels. Next time I would bring more bubbles for the bath and to drink whilst looking at the amazing view. Lovely reception area, great views from the relaxation area. Amazing massage, comfortable room, great smells and music. I felt wonderful afterwards. I will definitely return.

I had the most amazing massage by Rebecca. She listened to my needs and applied the perfect amount of pressure to all areas - even the parts of my body which requires more gentle treatment. I cannot recommend her highly enough and thank her for submerging me in to an utter state of relaxation. If I lived closer I would most definitely use her again. The allowance for tea & snacks & being able to take our time to enjoy them in the waiting area with the amazing costal views post treatment was icing on the cake. I highly recommend!

This was my first experience at Bersantai Spa and what an experience it was. The professionalism through communication at the entrance to how well the treatment room and bath experience were set up. The bath experience was amazing, definitly exceeded my expectations. While relaxing I found flowers floating in the bath which put a smile on my face, those little touches really make the experience for me. Now for my Massage, I had Katelyn as my therapist, she was professional and sweet and really gave a great Massage. Usually I leave treatments feeling as though they had missed my concern areas but not Katelyn, she really worked and found my tight areas and gave them her focus,ill definitly be requested her next time. The whole day was pure bliss, what a gem this place is.

I love this place. The location is amazing. Massage was nice and the highlight is the pedicure with a view! Lovely staff. The only let down was the lunch in the restaurant for the spa & dine package, will give that a miss next time.

Had our wedding at castaways then had an amazing massage at spa retreat there. The people were very helpful and service was amazing. Beautiful surroundings. Will differntly go back again. Thank you for an amazing day again.

Lovely and hospitable staff. Took the outdoor coconut bath. Amazing experience. The place is semi-covered so the views from the bath area are restricted but otherwise the views from other spots in the resort are simply breathtaking. There are total 4 stone baths in the area. I'm not sure if its a private bath but the others were not occupied when we went so we had the whole area to ourselves. A tip to those heading there first time, don't park your car at the resort entrance. It is a steep 12 minute uphill walk from there. Spa guests can bring their car up to the spa's own parking. Surely a recommended place!

Massages were great! Reception was awesome, changes due to missing a detail we indicated when booking was compensated, great customer relations! Outdoor hot bath, man what an experience! Later we had dinner at the restaurant, shoutout to the chef! And once again awesome service received! Highly recommended for tranquility and breakaway from the everyday journey of life.

My husband and I purchased a spa and dine package which ensured that we had a very special day. We both enjoyed a relaxing massage by the experts at Bersantai Day Spa, and then completed our day with a delicious dinner at the beautiful Castaways Restaurant. Thank you to everyone for their friendly professionalism. We look forward to many return visits to this resort so close to home.

Got a couples massage here for 45mins, Swedish massage. Excellent service, friendly therapists and helpful receptionist with queries and bookings. Also loved the foot spa at the beginning! Would 100% recommend!

I had a pregnancy massage & it was amazing. Nice and gentle but still very relaxing. I also got a pedicure & that was also amazing. I would most definitely recommend! Xx

Amazing experience from start to finish. The 60min massage was incredible I felt so relaxed and was exactly what I needed. Also the staff are so nice and very professional, would highly recommend, you also can’t beat the view!

Fabulous Treatment - I had the full body massage. Would recommend and will most certainly be coming back. The spa looked after my 4 friends and I and everyone was delighted with their experience!

Great massage but maybe a bit more guiding from the staff would have helped as we didn't know what we were expected to do before and after the massage. The masseuses just left the room and we didn't know if we should get dressed or if they were coming back..? We also had a bath but with the massive construction site right behind us, it wasn't quite relaxing. Also the view is wonderful but there are two ugly plastic hoses to fill the tubs, they took a bit of the magic away. Can't you find anyone to plumb a proper tap? Last but not least, the glass of "bubbles" was really bad. So all in all, the experience just fell a bit short in every aspect. Probably not worth the 1h drive from Auckland.

Great day for a couples retreat! Atmosphere, ambience, views and treatments combined were the perfect setting to relax and unwind. This was recommended and we’d certainly come back again.

A beautiful 20 min foot soak..a 90 min. relaxation/healing massage..and a 45 min facial ..then relax and reflect over a pot of jasmine tea to finish...Thank you staff for an exceptional experience. Quiet, meditative surroundings within. Rustic bush and hill clad..west coast ocean surroundings outside. Worth 5 stars.
