I just wanted to write a review because i had a great experience there last Saturday with one of the technician (Nari) i had a pedicure with red gel polish, Nari was so lovely, she was very thoughtful, gentle and very professional. I love it so much and it’s been a week now the gel pedicure still looks as good as day one. Thank you Nari.

Got gel manicure with French tips by Kheta, she was very professional, friendly and exceeded by expectations with the nail art. Definitely be going back again, 5 stars from me !

Was very impressed with this business.My friend and I just walked in without having an appointment booked and we only had to wait 20 minutes for a pedicure and manicure.We were very impressed with all the staff but especially Nari.She was very friendly and has “magic fingers” ,the massage she gave my feet and hands were wonderful.I have been to Diamond Nails before in other places but this one is definately the best I’ve experienced.

Loved it. So happy with my nails. My treatment was really gentle and my nails look sooo good!

This is a dual rating. 5 stars go to Nari, a relatively inexperienced nail technician who is just lovely. She is gentle and pays attention to get every nail right. She still has a bit to go in getting the right shape of the nail (she puts the base a bit too low), but she is doing so well. The 1 star rating is for my latest and last visit at the salon, where a more experienced technician was removing my SNS in preparation for Nari to apply the new coat. I unfortunately don't know her name. She put the electric nail file thingy up really high, so that when she used it to remove the SNS, it burned my fingers. She pressed down hard, didn't pause, and when I instinctively pulled my hand back as I was in pain, she said 'Maybe SNS is not for you, how about Gel instead?' When I told her it was never an issue otherwise, and that I thought she was just doing it too fast - she agreed, saying she hated removing SNS and she was fast. Like, what the actual? Don't hurt your customers because you hate that part of the job, then blame them for being in pain. My fingers hurt for days after that, as it was an actual burn. I will never return here, as the business model seems to be - get them in and out as fast as possible so we can get more business.

I've only had SNS done here and loved it every time. Unlike a lot of other places, they don't do the SNS so thick it feels like slabs on your nails. The colour range is great and prices are what you would expect in Wellington.

Love this place! It's just across the road from my work and is always packed, for good reason. It's a reasonable price, and the manicure is really good quality. I'm definitely becoming a regular.

Had a great set of Acrylics done at this salon. Staff were very friendly and time efficient (I had let them know that I could only have 45 minutes and they advised me as to which polishes would work best for my nails as well as my time constraint!) I was also able to call ahead and move my appointment time very easily. One comment is that when I was there they played only music selectively by Sam Smith. This was no problem as I love his music but just mentioning in case you have a particular aversion to him.. Thanks Diamond nails 💖 I will definitely be coming back again!

Amazing service. They actually care about what your nails look like at the end and don't rush you through the process. Very different to most nail salons and good range of colours

Have been going here consistently for 3-4 months now to get my SNS manicures. I really like that they completely soak off the previous SNS rather than try to drill it off, as I have very thin nail beds and other salons have nearly drilled right through my nail (which is very painful). Staff is always friendly and the ability to book in via email / website is super handy. Only downside is sometimes they are very busy and you'll get worked on by 2-3 different technicians in a session at times, but everyone has done a consistently good job.

Diamond Nails staff & Kheta fitted me in without an appointment and did an amazing job with my gel express manicure! Highly recommend, great quality nail artists!

Going here is like going on a play date with either Kheta or Kim. I love their business and their work. You guys are fantastic.

Fantastic experience! Walked in off the street fairly clueless about what kind of manicure I needed and they answered all my questions with patience and expertise. My nails look awesome, the salon was clean and the girls so nice and friendly, I’ll be coming back for sure!

Love the ladies at Diamond Nails! They're so lovely and so talented. They always make me feel special. I have been getting SNS nails form them for 6 months and wouldn't go anywhere else! It's also so convenient on Lambton Quay!

My manicurist left Wellington so I needed to find another place, preferably in the CBD. Since the reviews on Google are either 5 or 1 star, I’d thought I’d chime in. First off, the ladies here know what they are doing. They are very efficient and quick. They wear protective dusk masks so there’s not a lot of chit chat, but that’s fine with me. I’m there to get my nails done and get out, not to have deep philosophical conversations. However, everyone was very polite and I felt very comfortable. They do have an EFTPOS machine, and the price was very reasonable. As for the quality of the gel manicure, it’s very good. A few of my nails are but longer on one hand than the other. It’s not noticible to others but being OCD, it’s a bit bothersome to me. They have a huge selection of colours, which I was very pleased with. I will keep going back.

It is an awesome place! Management changed a couple of months ago and the girls and the owner do a fantastic job. Always accommodating and trying the impossible to please the clients. Highly recommended!
