Definitely the best hair dresser in Wellington! I love coming here to get my hair done, the salon is so spacious and all the staff are really friendly. They also have an amazing range of products...so thrilled they now offer Keratin Treatments!

Amazing and friendly team at Sable! I have been coming here for 4 years and always love the way my cut and colour comes out, I would not trust anyone else with my hair. 10/10 Would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Sable were fantastic in helping me with my teen girls hair. Her hair never looked clean even after her washing it a couple times each week. We got recommend by Anthea to try Solu Clarifying Shampoo by Davines and wow what a difference. It finally does not look oily at the roots and dry at the ends and a few days later it still looked clean.

I have been purchasing my hair care products through Sable for 18 months. I love how passionate the team are, and it shows in their incredible knowledge of the product ranges they stock and ability to recommend the perfect product for any hair care need. If you want to work with a salon who get customer experience, and time and time again exceed expectations visit Sable!

Anthea has been cutting my hair for years, I think over 20 years! I"m always happy with my cut and always get asked who my hairdresser is. Jenna did a great balayage colour on my black Asian hair too. All the staff are super friendly.

Received the best hair cut I have ever had here! Great coffee and friendly, professional staff. Good selection of magazines too! Will definitely order more Davines all in one milk from their online store and keep an eye out for new hair accessories!

I’ve been a very happy customer of Sable for years. Consistently great styling (I get compliments all the time), lovely people, handy location and they even make great coffee too. I know a bunch of other people who go here too and they are definitely very stylish, with high standards.

I’ve been coming to Sable for a few years and I love it. Anthea is so knowledgeable when it comes to hair and colour and is always patient and able to understand what I want (even when I’ve done a terrible job of explaining it!). She’s done an amazing job at helping me transition away from covering my greys (I’m never looking back) and has nailed a blonde on me when I never thought I would suit it. She also does a killer head massage and they always have the best selection of magazines.

I love this place. No one I’d been to before ‘got’ the idea that I wanted kind of a dorky blunt bob. My hair is thick and curly so most stylists think a blunt unlayered style won’t work - but Sable did such a fresh, awesome, modern job. Totally rate them. Also they have an amazing range of hair accessories and products. And it doesn’t hurt that Harland is super hot. Best salon in Wellington.

I love my regular cuts and colours with Anthea. I always leave with great hair and have had an awesome conversation and drunk a delicious coffee or tea. Occasionally I also leave with an awesome product for me or a present for someone else. I highly recommend Sable.

I have been going to sable for literally my whole life. My first haircut was at sable and I hope that my last will be too because there is a lot skill required to sustain my stylish hair and every time I come I am never left empty handed. I have had hair cut by everyone and they are all consistently amazing.

I found Sable to provide excellent , friendly service. I ordered a conditioner over the hpl8day period and it still arrived promptly with a friendly note and a voucher for a discount on my next order. Of course the Davines products are excellent.

Moved to chch 4 years ago but still get back to wgtn whenever I can to see Anthea at Sable! Anthea has always taken the time to understand my hair and gives me a cut that I feel great about. The atmosphere at Sable is awesome - very professional but friendly at the same time. Love Sable!

The Sable team are amazing. They know how to look after their clients, they are knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming!! The on-line product service is excellent. And the packaging sets them apart from other online shopping experiences!!

Sable's service is fantastic. The staff are friendly but totally professional, and their technical skills are always reliable (as in strangers on the street asking you where you get your hair done reliable). Sable has all the extras too (great coffee, excellent magazine selection and a handy text reminder service). Highly recommended

Cant rate Anthea and the team at Sable highly enough. I love the friendly chilled vibe and consultative process, and always come away looking like a million bucks - Cut, colour, hair ups and product range and recommendations, when it comes to hair, they always deliver.

Anthea, Brendon and the staff at Sable care about the clients needs and go out of their way to ensure everyone walks out of the salon satisfied and feeling valued. They are the friendliest, kindest and most sincere people you could meet...did I mention funniest too...

Excellent customer service with fast online orders, I order in the afternoon and by 10am the next day it’s on my door step! Absolutely love how friendly and helpful the girls are when I call to ask any information about a product. Highly recommend!!
