L.It’s been a long time since I’ve had a cut and colour bring literal happy tears to my eyes but today that happened. The service, expertise and dedication that these woman exhibit is amazing. I had quite a considerable change in colour for myself and it came out even better than I was expecting. I’m so thankful to have finally found somewhere to become my regular salon.
Y.I am fairly new to Whangarei and this is the fourth hairdresser I have tried since I've moved here and finally I have a lovely colour and cut. Sue took great care to ask questions and listen to what I like and I'm very happy with the results at last. Thank you Sue

K.Sue, you are magic! If you're looking for a salon where the hairstylists actually listen to what it is you're wanting, look no further.
Sue made me feel comfortable, reassured and kept me well informed every step of the way, (even gave me a mini tutorial on how to curl my hair with a straightener)!
I appreciated the honest advice and suggestions. Thank you for helping me go from drag to fab Sue - I will book in again for 6 weeks time!

M.I've been going to Hair by ME for a while now and I usually I like to have a bit of a change to feel like a new woman. My wants always get taken on board. They listen to me, understand my vision then add their guidance and expertise. I walk out of every appointment with a smile on my face as they always exceed what I've envisioned and their relaxed friendly atmosphere fills my cup.
C.So, I LITERALLY had to stalk Megan on Facebook to learn that she had opened her own salon. After calling her former salon and having that awkward dialog when they try to book you with someone else after learning you had ONLY seen one Stylist every visit to their salon...her. (There is a reason for that!!)
Before moving to Whangarei I had the same stylist in Los Angeles for years. Before we had kids, I would wait to get my haircuts when I flew back. That was neither sustainable, or logical. I knew I had to find a local Stylist since we are here for the long haul.
My Tribe had bought me a gift certificate (at former salon) and I had booked a haircut just before my Daughter was to be born...then she came early, and I met Megan 2 days after giving birth, because I knew it could be ages before I get another haircut! And it was!
Despite the time lapse, Megan was well worth the wait. Her new salon is cozy and welcoming, and the hair invokes that confident strut you get when you KNOW your hair looks awesome.
I have naturally curly (3B/C) hair that I keep quite long to help tame it. It is a real challenge to find Stylists that can cut naturally curly hair so that it looks great curly AND straight. Megan can do this, and does it exceptionally well.
Highest recommendation. Can't go wrong. Just book it.
