Electrify were amazing, helping me choose the right electric bike for me. The service was friendly, thoughtful and very helpful with all my questions. Even getting the bike ready for collection in plenty of time for the holiday I planned to use it for. Great that follow up service also included. Fully recommend Electrify and the my new Black ATB-L Electric bike 26 inch. Goes up the hills really easily and the battery lasts ages.

A great buying and sales experience, we can't fault Daimen and his team; October'20 we bought my wife's Magnum Metro, and my Voyager arrived in November. I have since travelled 2000km, my wife, about 1500 Kms. However, I have now snapped 3 rear spokes, the 3rd one 30 minutes after our service. I'm told this should not happen, at all We are very careful and ride, easy rides, nothing above G2, no more than 40 kms either, no overuse or kerb- jumps.... Anyone else comments ?? Mike

I’ve explained them I bought the e-bike couple of years ago from another supplier who did not want to know anything about the issues with my e-bike (the warranty was expiring in one month) and they told me to go to the new dealership for the issues. I checked out most Shore E bike retailers before returning to Electrify Browns Bay. There were others with a bike that suited my needs but I bought from Alex because of his 'laid back' approach, technical background & the deal he offered. No regrets! His after sale service has been superb!

I recently bought a Magnum Metro e-bike from Electrify Browns Bay and have just collected it after it's free 6-week service. The staff at Electrify Browns Bay have been so helpful and have explained all sorts of things to me and given me great advise. I highly recommend them. I am absolutely loving the bike and find that I am riding so much more than I would ever attempt to on an ordinary push bike, as I have no worries about hills, knowing that I can ride up them with the electric assistance. I have had to explain to a few people that an e-bike is not a cop-out of exercise, in fact it is encouraging me to exercise! I mostly use muscle-power, but it's fantastic to have the help when needed, or when I just want to take it a bit easy. I am so happy I made this investment, but wish there were more safe cycle-ways near home!

Thank you very much for the awesome service and support. Alex and Axel is so helpful on my query before buying our first family E-Bike, the Magnum Premium Folder. I also explain to them that my wife is very short and she still not confident on her biking skills and she wanted the lowest seat for her to use. Alex provided us an additional seat post for “FREE” which is 100-150mm lower to swap this with the original. Now all family members (X4 of us) are very happy because all of us can use the bike on the heights we are comfortable with. This is our first E-bike ever and we are loving it and the power that helps especially living in the Northshore area. We are now looking at buying our next one soon. Visitors/friends having a partly in our house last weekend saw and tried our Magnum and they are loving it and wanted get one as well. I highly recommended this store, nice people, excellent service, excellent support, and a quality product.

Alex has been amazingly helpful every time I have visited his shop. He is very knowledgable and gives good advice. He has looked after the issues I have had with my older e-bike which I had bought some years ago before these guys were around. I cannot overstate how good he has been in helping me and he is also, such a nice guy. This newly opened shop is just fantastic. The manager and staff were very helpful when we popped in and made sure we had some sensible choices to look at. We spent time looking at other electric bikes in Auckland and that made it easy to go back and buy one from these guys. They have a good range of bikes to try out, a place to ride near by to make sure I had chosen the right one and they were very flexible with test drives outside regular office hours. If you want a quality e-bike from someone on the shore, I’d certainly put this shop on the places to go to.

I took my Gepida ebike to have a squeak and the brakes looked at. Daimen helped with unloading and loading my bike, fixed the squeak and brakes. He was really helpful explaining a bit of maintenance that I can do myself. All in all an efficient and friendly experience. Thanks guys.

I bought a magnum peak, done over 4K km commuting, the after sales service is excellent. The bike paid for itself in the petrol savings. I've now upgraded to a Stromer, another excellent bike. If it's your first time on an electric bike then I recommend these guys. Keep up the good work getting more cars off Auckland roads.

I had been considering buying e-bikes for my wife and myself for about a year, and had done a bit of research in that time. I sort of knew what I wanted and decided on a Magnum Metro and Metro Plus. The guys at this new outlet were very helpful and even delivered the bikes to my home on the Hibiscus Coast (as they would not fit in my car). They answered all my queries and I later bought a towball mounted carrier from them too. Great service from a keen and enthusiastic young owner! I can recommend this shop for sure!

Did an initial test drive of a Magnum Metro & Metro+ on a weekend and then purchased a Metro. Absolutely love the bike and have ridden it to work and back every day.

Purchased an ex demo KTM Macina Kapoho. Very happy with the bike and after-sales service - the combination of a 29" front wheel and 27 1/2" rear works extremely well off-road. Very impressed with the Bosch motor and the 160 ml rock-shox front and back. When in EMTB mode uphill riding is as exhilarating as the downhill. Recent purchase but can not fault so far and would recommend Electrify and Alex.

After researching E-Bikes I discovered Electrify NZ North Shore, and Alex Munro. They offer a free trial which I took advantage of just to make sure I felt safe for my commute to and from work. After full training and some extra handy tips I had a fun day learning and immediately made the purchase of a Magnum Metro + This comes with all the extras needed for commuting, as well as some nice features with leather hand grips and extra padded seat. The motor is amazing and gives you speed when you need it, up hills or inclines, into the wind or at the lights to get out of the way of cars . With experience you can have the best of both worlds, by using low motor assist or even turning it off to go to simply cycling. In my first month I have biked the equivalent of Auckland to Taupo and intend to use it every day. Alex and the guys at Electrify are so helpful and know their product so well that every question you have is explained fully in practicle terms as they ride the bikes as well. Pay them a visit, you will enjoy the experience.

When I first considered getting an E-bike I was a little apprehensive as I did not know too much about them ie. How easy or hard they were to ride, how much power did they have, were the gears easy user friendly and most importantly what model would be the most suitable for me. Any concerns I had were well and truely answered in my first visit to Electrify Browns Bay. We were shown various models and Alex took the time to explain the advantages of a couple of models he thought most suitable for the type of riding I intended doing. We then trialled a couple of bikes taking in a couple of very good hills in Browns Bay. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy I found them to ride and with Alex's instruction how easy the gears and power assist were to use. Overall it was a very positive experience dealing with Alex and his team at Electrify Browns Bay and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone interested in purchasing or even finding out more about E-bikes. Good service and bikes. A few colleagues from work had bought an electric bike from these guys and had good things to say about the bike (Metro+) and the service. I bought my own Metro+ - very happy with it - I looked for ages at different bikes and like the range they had here.

KTM Kapoho endorsement Me: 68 yr old male cyclist and motorcyclist Background: 8 years motocross, 8 years competive road cyclist and some mountain biking. First off I am not receiving any reward for writing this and also I do not purport to be an MTB expert by any means. However I have amassed quite a bit of time riding on two wheels so here is my take on the KTM e mountain bike. Prior to buying the KTM I had owned a 2014 Specialised full sus Stumpjumper but I sold it after a bad road bike crash a couple of years ago. Once I felt my shoulder was strong enough I decided to go for an electric MTB much to the horror of my road bike friends. Why buy a bike and have a motor do the hard work. I should suffer climbing those upward sloping roads and tracks like everyone else. Well thats all well and good but I do plenty of that on my road bike and the fun of MTBing is blasting down the trails not climbing up them. Thats why dedicated downhill tracks have shuttles and gondolas. After checking out a few brands I was taken enough with the KTM to turn up to a demo by Electrify at Woodhill. After a pretty quick set up based on my reported weight I spent about 40 minutes carving up some unfamiliar terrain and finished up at my old favorite No Vacancy which is a decent fast descending pump track. Initial reaction was "This is pretty good". I had no trouble pointing the bike where I wanted to go and the brakes and shifting were first class. The Magic Mary front 29 inch and Hans Dampf rear 27.5 provided ample grip over the rooty stuff and the bike just plowed through any deep sand that would have slowed my old bike to a crawl. Yes the bike is noticeably heavier than my 14 kg carbon Stumpjumper but if anything that is an advantage going down hill and going uphill in EMTB mode you dont feel the extra 10kg at all. Should you be unfortunate enough to run your battery flat then I am sure you would still get home OK if you take it easy by just manpower. Regarding the shop dont let the small size put you off. The team of Alex as manager and Aden as chief mechanic are capable people who will put you first and ensure no stone is unturned to see you satisfied. I popped in unannounced to have a small adjustment made on my rear derailleur and they did a full service (while I waited) which you get for free for your first visit. If you are keen on the idea of e mountain biking might I suggest you watch the EMTN videos on YouTube. Its a mine of information and you can see how the Kapoho stacks up against its competion.

After numerous operations I have been left with on leg 10cm shorter than the other. Mobility is an issue and as the family are keen cyclists, I had all but ruled out being able to join them. Enter elecrify.nz North Shore in Browns Bay and Alex. Alex is a very personable, creative and resourceful young man and he used his considerable engineering skills to modify the cranks on the bike to suit my needs. Not only did he modify the bike but he kept in close contact to monitor my progress and even travelled to Omaha to change a crank. I would strongly recommend Electrify NZ North Shore Branch and Alex in particular to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation to mine. I had already done my research and decided that the magnum metro was for me so i bought it off the guys in the brown bay store as i was in the neighbourhood. Bike is incredible, i am 57, overweight, dodgy left knee and normal cycling was just too hard. First weekend i got it i rode from henderson to the city (all around the city) and back to henderson. A total of 3 1/2 hours and 47km. And that was my first ride !!. I have done that twice more since then and am enjoying the exercise and fresh air once again. Electric bikes are definitely the way of the future. Get down to electrify.nz in browns bay, the guys will help you out without any pressure.

Been for three rides to get the feel of the bike (Magnum Metro), and revisiting setting Fit on my cell phone, so I've totaled around 20K so far. It is just so different from my old E20. The seat needed adjusting as it wasn't handling my weight and a bump, knees up round my ears. Once sorted all good. Speed wise considerably faster on the downhill sections. Plenty of power to take off up the hill from home. Have to learn how to take left hand turns at speed, as I run wide. I have not yet tried a ride after rain (had some hairy moments on the E20 on road markings).
