S.Thank you! I was having issues with my bike that were really putting a damper on riding. After bringing it in for a service and some fresh tyres it’s like riding an entirely different bike. The staff member I dealt with was super friendly and clearly understood the problems I was describing. Service was quick and everything came out cheaper than expected at the end. Will definitely be bringing my bike back here for any work in the future.
S.We were lucky to strike Bradley when we called in to Evo at Britomart. He was friendly and knowledgeable and very patient ( with a couple of oldies who haven't been on bikes for years) as were all the staff actually.
But Bradley was great, and even accompanied me when I went for a test ride in the middle of the city, which would have been a bit daunting on my own.
Its such a great environment in the shop, its always a pleasure to call in.

We got 4 mountain bikes after the first lockdown & found them incredibly helpful (especially with convincing us about dropper-seats, then talking us through it over the phone after purchase).
They seem to go above & beyond- this week we returned to the store for accessories which they added to our bikes for us on the spot & even lubricated our chains to demonstrate how to & how often we should be doing that.
As we left on Sunday we both said at the same time, “Best service ever!!”
I.Amazing service. Always get my bike serviced here. Last week my handle bars snapped and I was looking at days without my bike so one of the team offered up his personal spare - for free!!
A.We’ve been to 6 bike shops over 2 days looking for the right helmet. This place was by far the best for customer service and product knowledge. The correct fit for safety was more important to them than just making a sale. Highly recommend this store.

N.Bought my full suspension bike at another store a while back. Stopped in here to get some advise on my bike fitting as it felt off and just too big and non-responsive and I thought I had bought the wrong bike. The guys at Evo Cycles set my suspension up on the spot to suit my weight etc which had never been done properly before, and now it feels like I'm riding a brand new bike that's actually making use of the suspension!! Thank you so much!
D.We were cycling past and stopped as my wife's bike had a whine from the back brake. The guys were super helpful. Put the bike up on the repair rack, removed the wheel and cleaned the brakes. - even better no charge. With service like this I highly recommend them.

Telling us what to look for and what he recommended regarding our usage. As there were several to choose from we would have been totally lost without that knowledge. I am very happy with my choice and grateful to the salesperson for his help.

Thoroughly happy with the service. Bike arrived in store on the Wednesday and I was sent a text and email advising. Did not pick up until the next Saturday which was no issue. Great assistance again with helmet choice and other items I may like to consider. The bike was pre-assembled and they assisted with setting it up and I'm loving it!

S.I had amazing customer service experience at this store when buying a bike for my daughter. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that initially my purchase got messed up and I ended up having to visit the store twice, rather than once. The specs for the bike I bought were wrong on the website, which I noticed when I went to pick it up. They immediately worked with me to find an acceptable replacement at another store and had it shipped to the Britomart store. The replacement bike with the proper specs was slightly more expensive, but Evo made things right. I can't speak more highly of my customer service experience with the staff at this store. I will definitely be returning for my bicycle needs.
L.Summary: The service was fine.
Two bikes were bought from here. I went in knowing what bike I thought I wanted, I wasn't offered any other options (perhaps there weren't any for my requirements), therefore cannot really comment on lack of or abundance of knowledge. The guy helping me was really friendly and let me take it for a ride outside (helmet included!). He was happy for me to purchase what I saw online (obviously an easy sell). I took one bike home that day. He was kind enough to hold the second bike for someone else in my house-hold to pick-up a few days later.
The second bike was picked up 2 days later. I made a phone call a few days after the second pick up to let them know that the second bike didn't have reflectors, the man on the other end responded very sarcastically...which took me by surprise. I understand they are not a requirement, however I explained that my expectation was that both the bikes bought from there be built the same, but he said that it was up to the person building it (which makes no sense, because there should be a common standard).
He did however tell me to bring the bike in and they would sort it out. He was probably messing around with his sarcastic response, but it's not ideal over the phone to a customer - people generally just want a solution without the drama.
P.Awesome store, great service on the two separate occasions I visited. The first time, I was just checking out a couple of kids bikes and got some good advice. Came back a couple of days later to buy and the service was equally as good. Nice range of bikes, clean, tidy, organised store - just a good place to shop all round, felt very much like a valued customer, despite it being busy.
P.Excellent service. Gave great pre sale phone advice. Really easy on lines sales process. Bike arrived less than two days from purchase. Everything was very well packed up and with clear instructions. Highly recommend to anyone. Love my new bike.

F.I had a flat rear tyre and chain problem last Sunday morning during my bike ride. EVO Britomart Team managed to fix the bike during my coffee break at a very reasonable price. Now my bike it's like brand new! Thank you EVO!
L.I honestly cannot praise this shop highly enough. The mechanics Benny and Tommy are extremely knowledgeable, with Benny probably being one of the most experienced in the country.
They went above and beyond for me and helped out an incredibly large amount.

A.Really cool place. If you need a bike - go to this store. Their consultants are professional, they have a good choice of bikes in store and you can order whatever in their catalogs. I received additional discount for accessories there. I would say they have the best prices in NZ so this is the perfect place to buy your iron horse

Bought three Scooters at two different times - PERFECT!!
A.Beyond amazing. Ordered my item Sunday around 5pm and it was delivered Monday morning so shocked. Scooter is awesome. Only bad thing I have to say is the instructions for assembly weren't very good, I put it together but the brakes are a bit messed up. Overall 10/10 would recommend.
C.I ordered a vintage Reed bicycle through Evo online. The bike came missing two pieces that attach the tyre guard to the wheel. When I reported this to customer service, they sent me one attachment. I rang again and asked for the second attachment. They sent me the attachment but without the necessary screws. Now I'm going to Bunnings to get the screws. Good price but not worth the hassle.
R.Very helpful team serviced my bike and fixed a recurring issue that 2 other shops couldn't resolve. Have returned for a quick check up on my bike, all done while I had a beer at Brew on Quay.

R.I had a flat tyre biking into work today. When I called at lunchtime they said I could bring it in for a same day fix. When I arrived the friendly guy did it on the spot. The price was very reasonable too. Very pleased to back on the road so quickly (and I don't have to catch the bus home and dig out a repair kit!)
