I went to make some enquiries regarding e-bikes. I received a lot of advice and my questions were answered. I probably spent 10-15 minutes with the staff member who was very knowledgeable. At no time did I feel under pressure to buy anything, just a willingness to help me make a decision as to whether buying the e-bike was the best option. I was also invited to take a bike for a test ride to help me understand what we were talking about.

I was riding home and got a flat, so I stopped into the nearest bike shop not knowing what to expect. Tony was super patient and walked me throughout the entire process. Overall, the staff is wonderfully friendly, provided great service, and they are willing to go out of their way to help me.

While adjusting my brakes I broke the front one. It was 27 December and I wanted to be riding my touring bike on 28 December.
When I called my closest bike shop I was told me to bring it in, but when they saw what I'd done, they said it was too big a job for their workshop because it needed a special technician, so I could book in for 12 January.
From their carpark I rang four more bike shops, and 4 January was the earliest I could get it fixed (at least no others made me bring it in before telling me). By the time I rang MyRide in Botany I was aware that I would be driving for an hour to get to the shop, so when they said "sure bring it in now" I was worried my trip might be for nothing. What an awesome surprise! So friendly and no fuss. Fifteen minutes after I arrived they had my bike fixed and ready for me. I am so grateful. Well worth the drive. Wish I could give a 6 star review.

Great service. We are in a lockdown, I ordered a bike, less than 2 hours later I had a text saying it was ready to pick up.
Went in, they had great processes with customers coming in and out. Bike was there waiting, the person who served me was very helpful and knowledgeable. Took the time to come outside with me and make sure I knew all the trick and tips and to carefully explain the servicing that came with it.
I look forward to doing more business with My Ride Botany in the future.

Staff are always so keen to help customers and always want to keep you on the bike and riding. Two of the staff that I have found exponentially helpful are Craig and Tuhoe these guys are always keen to have a chat about how to improve the bike and get maximum performance out of it. After having been quoted $20-$30 for a puncture repair on a child's low end BMX at Bike Barn (now 99Bikes), then being charged $100 at pickup because "we didn't have stock of the cheap tyre you were quoted" I decided to look elsewhere for our future repairs and maintenance
Glad I did. The team at my ride Botany gave me a solid reasonable quote (including potential extra costs) over the phone and took my details.
Upon arrival at the store, we were greeted in seconds by a different staff member than who I spoke to on the phone. He found my details in seconds and took our three bikes.
The job was completed faster than stated and was cheaper than quoted. They answered the phone after hours and accommodated my pickup time.
The reason I state all of this, is because this is a level of Customer Service I've only received in other countries and have come to not expect in NZ.

Excellent customer service. Got a great bike fit done by Brent who not only set my bike up right for me but also gave me tips on my riding style after watching me. I got some new shoes and pedals there at the same time which weren't on special but he knocked a little bit off which was nice. To make things even better I noticed the next day that they happened to be on a big special at another store. When I mentioned this Tony (the owner) offered to refund me the difference! Will definitely keep coming back to this place for any of my local bike shop needs.

I've always had fantastic service here, for road bikes or mountain bikes as well as accessories. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I don't know a lot about bikes and terminology but they always manage to figure out what I mean and take the time to make sure they find me what I need.

Having just arrived in Auckland I was keen to find a good, reliable bike at a good price. I searched everywhere for "the one", good brand, good groupset, planning to put in about 25km per day this year. It wasn't an easy choice but the service, recommendations, and offers I received at MyRide where all top notch. I chose a Scott Metrix 20.
The team there is awesome and attentive to their customers.

Thanks team for going the extra mile. My dads ebike was purchased at the Mt Manganui My Ride shop. It developed an issue with not charging on the bike any more. These shops are all individual franchises. The team at The Mount got the battery supplier to agree to cover the repair even thought it was just out of warranty, and the Botany team agreed to do the actual repair even though it wasn't purchased from them as they are the closest store to where the bike now lives. Much appreciated.

This shop has had a complete turn around. New Owner and fantastic staff. I frequent the store lots, as a Cycle Coach & Educator I am always after items for myself and prefer to support a locally owned and operated business instead of an online store or large chain.

Service and Friendliness is okay, the staff are very knowledgeable about their stuff. They sell most of the gear and parts you will be looking for and they do repairs on the spot as far as I know. Visiting and servicing on public holidays will incur you a surcharge so just keep that in mind. Best bike shop in the area.
