L.Great experience with Electrify on the purchase of my new E Bike. Customer service was excellent at the Nelson and Christchurch store - bike was ready on pick up and thorough discussion how to look after it and also made time to put my new accessories on my bike - I was ready to go!
B.Was lucky enough to buy on the day off the floor in the Lichfield St store in ChCh. Was concerned about a click in the pedal cadence after 5 days and was able to drop it in for the mechanic to look at. Fixed after 24 hours free of charge. The bike is everything I wanted it to be. Loving riding it to work and back every day, this is a 20km daily commute. Charge every three days. Great bike, great service. Thanks team Electrify
B.Top quality e bike with a knowledgeable team supporting before and after sales. Really very impressed with the Black ATB L 48 v, the Range Rover of e bikes. Heavy, solid, surprisingly sprightly and happy to go wherever you point the front wheel.
J.Can't recommend Matty and the team highly enough. We went in knowing nothing about eBikes other than what we could find on Google. We had tried another large store who tried to sell us something we didn't find comfortable and then we stopped someone riding an eBike and they recommended Electrify. Best advice ever. We told Matty what we wanted from our eBike and although he was sure we would end up choosing the Black ATB he gave us options and explained the differences. We did choose the Black ATB 48V bikes and they are awesome. My husband ordered the Bike with the crossbar and when he decided to change to a stepthrough there was no problem. We also purchased the eBike carrier and Matty explained how it worked and all the different features. We were very impressed with the service of all the staff who helped us. The only thing we would have liked was to have the bikes "fitted" but we were so excited to get our bikes we never asked if they did that. Fabulous service, helpful staff and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an eBike - and already have.

They are clearly passionate about ebikes. They went above and beyond for me for the bike i ordered and got it for me a month earlier then expected. L.I've had my Black ATB-H (All terrain) for 2 months now and loving it. So far I have used it mainly for getting across the city to work on all but the wettest of days. I appreciate the benefit of all terrain even just transversing Christchurch through parks, over rough roads and tracks. I was grateful to Matty and his team for their assistance and patience. Initially a bit nervous, I was sold on the bike after being able to take it out for a try. No regrets here. All parts of Christchurch now feel so much closer and more accessible than before. And commuting this way is fun. I can highly recommend Matty and his team at Electrify.

It represents a significant investment and I wanted to make sure I did my homework thoroughly beforehand. I found myself continuously returning to Electrify in Christchurch. Matty and Taylor were incredibly knowledgeable and helped me reach my decision in my own good time, despite it taking me several visits over many days. K.We brought 2 E-bikes and a bike rack suitable to carry the E-bikes, for the car. From the moment we stepped into the store we felt confident that we were in good hands and we did look at bikes in several other bike shops, before heading back to Electrify. We were able to test drive the bikes for 24 hours and then the team at Electrify were there to answer all our questions with patience and warmth. I adore my bike and love that it’s is going to give me the freedom to explore areas that are off the beaten track. H.I got my ebike a week ago and am very satisfied with the entire process so far. The bike is great and the service as well. After doing a lot of research Electrify was the only shop in Christchurch that offered me a 24h period to test ride the bike. After that I had a really clear picture of what I was going to buy. The staff was very friendly and patient in answering all my questions and I felt very well advised on which kind of bike was best for the purpose. I can highly recommend Electrify and am very satisfied with my purchase.
M.I found the guys at Electric city really nice to deal with. They are passionate about what they do and know a lot about their products. They went above and beyond the expected with generous bike trial loans and good deals. I’m loving my new bike, I think it just might change my life!
S.I was completely new to the world of E-Bikes, so it was great to meet Matty and Neil and receive comprehensive and unbiased advice. They never tried to up-sell me into a more expensive bike than I needed; they were focused on my buying the correct bike for my needs. I borrowed bikes from them over several days, tried different styles and finally settled on a Magnum Metro + for my daily commute.
Their pricing was very reasonable, especially given the $500 trade-in deal they are running during May. When I collected my new bike I was given a clear explanation of the bike's controls and what to expect from Electrify NZ over the next few weeks in terms of servicing, bike maintenance, battery care and so on.
I've had the bike for a few days and so far so good. Thanks very much Matty and Neil for excellent service.
j.Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and have been very helpful with my first ebike purchase. The after-sales care has been great too - I had no problems getting a faulty brake component replaced or arranging the free 6-week service.
I would recommend these guys for anyone considering getting an ebike in Christchurch.

S.Very enjoyable experience. All the staff were obliging friendly and knowledgeable. Selecting the correct bikes for our needs and appropriate equipment to go with them was made very easy. A sensor fault with one of the two new ebikes we purchased was remedied very quickly obligingly and expertly by Kevin, and he followed up to check all was well with it the next day! Despite the long wait for our order to arrive(understandable in the current covid climate), we feel we have been well looked after and are delighted with our ebikes(and carry rack)....worth the wait. They are perfectly suited to our requirements and we are clocking up the kms already. Many thanks Matty, Will, Kevin and Josh.

C.During my visit Taylor was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He was able to answer all my questions without sounding condescending like some other bike stores have, while also explaining the different pros and cons of each bike for me, and suggesting what would suit my needs the most. He was patient, and very efficient while servicing my bike as I looked around, and has made me feel more than welcome into the store and I will definitely be returning thanks to him.

Even though we were a couple of lothesome Aucklanders and would never be able to buy from them direct they devoted well over an hour and a test demo over two days to give us a very useful guide to our new two wheeled hobby. Service wound up to 11.
M.Like many Cantabrians we decided to upgrade our bikes after lockdown. We had no knowledge of electric bikes so we were delighted that Matty listened to our needs and matched us with several bikes to trial. Unfortunately due to covid and increased demand we had to wait for our order but Electrify kept us informed through the process.

T.Knowledgeable, informative, supportive and friendly. I took advantage of the “24 hour” test ride, trying out 5 different models over the course of a week. There was no expectation or pressure to purchase a bike and when I did buy the support continued. Both Matty and Taylor offer “old school” values through developing a good service and rapport with customers - a pleasure to work with!
N.The service has been first class. My wife and I called to look at bikes and were given an obligation free rundown of the models available. We also had a road test. We then considered the options, price etc and chose two magnums. The navigator and the voyager. We waited a couple of days and called and collected the bikes. Given full rundown and left happiness filled.
We have cycled nearly 100 kms and we are delighted with their performance.

F.Booked in maintenance a few weeks ago and they were helpful, prompt, and did a reasonably good job. Tried to book in a tyre repair today and had no response but turns out there was an unexpected staff shortage. They got in touch and explained the situation which was appreciated.

When I was entered Electrify for test ride, Taylor was more than happy to go above and beyond and provide me with a overall cost with all the bells and whistles that I required. S.friendly,with good access. just purchased first e bike....shopped around .. this seems best buy for value....bikes awsome great brand more omph than all the rest...... . "Magnum Metro" .works pedal assist plus should chain break can still get home using power. they have a couple of different models of this brand ....this brand has a more powerful battery than anything else on nz market at the moment.capable of 38-40 klms.most others just 28-30 klms freindly staff with follow up service on purchases.check them out first. then look around. ...like me ..shopp around then go back n buy.live long n prosper🖖😎😈😷

A.I bought a Gepida Reptila 900 a few weeks ago and I am so pleased with it! It is without doubt the best bike I've ever owned and I'm really looking forward to taking it with us on our motor home trips around New Zealand. It is supremely comfortable, well balanced and feels solid and secure on the road as well as on the tracks I've been on so far. It's really easy to use and the ride assist is amazing. I know it's going to extend my mileage by quite a bit. Matty was really helpful throughout the process and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Electrify NZ Christchurch and cannot speak highly enough of the Reptila 900.

S.Two weeks ago I purchased a Magnum Metro E bike from Electrify.
I started out looking for a bike by going online and looking at all the places that sold E Bikes. Electrify had the best videos out there that explained everything that you needed to know.
I went into their Auckland Central Shop and straight away was talked to by the guy that was on the video - cool - and I had a few questions that I wanted to know, which they answered without making me feel unknowledgeable. As I was from Christchurch they couldn't sell me one but I said I would be calling in at their shop in Chch that week and they said they had someone there that was from their shop working in Chch.
My friend and I cold called in on a Tuesday afternoon and straight away Neil helped us and said it was fine for us to take two bikes for a ride around Hagley Park to give us a good go of them. This was great as we were able to swap over half way around to get the feel of each bike.
I loved the Magnum and purchased it a week later.
I can only say that Neil, Damien and Matty were all very friendly and helpful and this was the main reason I bought a bike from them - the customer service was excellent.
I had previously been to other bike shops - feeling a little unknowledgeable - and in quite a few just left because no-one came up to me to ask if they could help. Others didn't have the product that I was looking for.
Well done Electrify - you get my vote on best E Bike Shop

D.A pleasure to deal with Matty in buying my new Magnum Premium Folding E-Bike. He is knowledgeable, obliging and extremely helpful in providing information and guidance to assist in the purchase decision. Nothing appears to be a problem for this chap - he couldn;t be more helpful. I thoroughly researched the options available in NZ and selected Electrify.NZ to be the supplier of my new bike as they are the stockists of the Magnum E-Bike range, along with other recognised quality manufacturer's products. As an engineer I was clear in my choice - the quality of my Magnum is outstanding as are the components and technical features of the bike. The performance of its 48Volt 14AmpHour battery driving its 300 watt motor is really impressive with 6 levels of pedal assist AND full throttle control. Despite its 20 inch wheels this bike rides just like a full-sized machine and is extremely stable and comfortable. Folding it is a breeze, and the resultant 'package' is very compact.In short, I have been totally satisfied with my purchase and dealings with Electrify.NZ and wholeheartedly commend Matty Lovell to anyone in the market for a high quality and realistically priced E-Bike.

J.They service traditional, non-electric bikes, too! I took a beat up old mountain bike here I that I bought real cheap elsewhere, got no-judgement service, Taylor threw two new tires on it and cleaned up my chain situation in under an hour while I ran errands in the area. Easy peasy.
I'm new-ish to the area, so while I was paying, the other gentleman who worked there (didn't catch his name) gave me some helpful tips on trails to hit around CHCH. 👍
J.After shopping around, not really understanding or knowing what we wanted for a while, we stumbled across Electrify ChCh. What a breath of fresh air. Neil was so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He helped us work out which would be best for us with no pressure at all (something other outlets could learn from). He explained everything we needed to know (in a way even I could understand, no question was a dumb question). We went on a test ride which was very helpful and then after more discussion with Neil we took a bike home for the night to ensure we were completely happy with our decision. Neil ensured we were completly satisfied with both bikes before we left the shop to enjoy the sun and a great ride. There have been a couple of follow up emails to ensure we are still happy and to allow us to ask any further questions. I have to say the service and level of knowledge is absolutely outstanding and we are so pleased with our EBikes and enjoying the ride, thank you Neil and the team so much!
