I invested in my first Rikonda eBike last year with the intention of using it for my daily commute to work. Before this, I've always driven or taken public transportation for my commute. When looking back on my purchase, I can say the investment paid out both in practicality and the enjoyment I had from using my eBike daily. The money I was able to save by staying away from public transportation has already paid for more than half of the purchase price. Also, the extra power I had from the bike's electric motor gave me the confidence I needed to take longer routes, helping me stay on my eBike for longer. The staff at iCycle Electric are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. All in all, I am delighted with both my eBike as well as the service I was given from purchase to post-purchase support.

This place is pretty special! Rik is an inspirational person to talk to. Builds/ has designed his own bikes. Fascinating history. Health/ mental challenges one can relate to. Comfort and ease at choosing a bike without any pressure to buy. These are sturdy, handsome bikes! Fantastic colours too. They even dropped it off at my house for me as I don’t have a bike rack. I didn’t bother looking anywhere else for an e bike. The team build the bikes here in NZ and it feels good to be supporting a NZ born and raised company. Can’t recommend this team highly enough. My daughter loves being pulled in the trailer behind it! Cheers

I've had my Rikonda bike for about 18 months and I absolutely love it! And I've never experienced such fantastic customer service. Nothing is ever a problem for Rik, the owner. He always wants to know what his customers think of the bikes so that he can make them even better. But to be honest I can't fault mine!

Great Bikes, Great Advice and Service well worth a visit.

Excellent after sales service. Had a problem with the basket which was causing damage to the paint on the body of my bike. I mentioned this to Rikonda staff, when I was getting them to fix a puncture. They had my bike repainted and replaced the basket with a more suitable basket, at no cost to me. I was thrilled and would thoroughly recommend them. Anna Ward

We went to many E-bike stores when my husband and I were looking for a new bike each. I can honestly say that once we found Rikonda we knew we wanted their bikes for many reasons. The bikes are very stylish and robust and for my bike in particular, I sit up straight while riding it which makes the ride very comfortable..They were just so helpful and Riks knowledge of the bikes was reassuring. They did what they said they would, had the bikes ready for us when they said they would and we have just had our first service which was trouble free and at no charge. Incredible after sale service, great looking bikes with thoughtful and well-tested engineering and design. I did months of market research before buying my first commuter Ebike and Rikonda stood out on: bike speed, battery life, durability, comfort, good looks, customer service and value for money. One bonus of supporting a local Christchurch business is that owners of the store and bike engineer (Rik and Ronda) are usually in store. They know their bikes and always go the extra mile to look after customers and keep them riding. In my case, they very kindly loaned me an Ebike for a couple of months after mine was stolen from my workplace. I've been riding Rikonda Ebikes for over a year and highly recommend them.

Amazing service and extensive knowledge of their bikes. Rhonda made absolutely certain that I was buying the correct bike & it was set up correctly for me as the rider. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Took 3 visits to fix but we got there! Very nice people but a problem that should have been picked up by the first service check was not corrected until visit three...after other parts had been replaced that I am still unsure that the bike needed. I paid over $250 for repairing a squeaky back wheel and it was a lot of too-ing and fro-ing for me.

After visiting another electric bike shop, with not a very good experience. We drove past and saw ICycle car breaks on, and in we went, what a great experience, Rick looked at me, this bike will suit you an hour later, with changes of seats etc, and many bikes around the car park etc, I was sold, but no think about it and we will have it ready for you tomorrow and come back when you are ready no pressure, We did go back the next day and while being the shop being very busy, it was great to watch him and Rhonda giving fantastic service and knowledge to the customers. If looking for a electric bike, go to ICycle.
