A.The Cromwell to Clyde mountain bike track, around Lake Dunstan, was amazing. I rode a mountain bike instead of an electric bike, which was challenging up the steepest trails, but well worth it! We were well informed about the trail and the bikes, by Rod, at Cromwell Heritage Precinct Bike Rentals. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Great service. I am keen to do it again on the next trip!

J.First Class Bike Hire Company Cromwell
Fantastic bike hire company Rod runs in the Historical area of Cromwell. From the time of booking up till the completion of the bike ride - communication was great. Rod even contacted us the evening before to advise a possible earlier start because of wind on the trail . We liked the flexibility at the other end - Rod picked us up earlier -,shuttled us back to the start in a comfortable van so we could get more adventures done in one day. The e- bikes were well maintained- full batteries- full instructions prior to take off- well set up and the carry bag a useful addition for our extra gear. Rod gave us a great run down on the trip ahead- was an awesome ride - great views all the way a must do on any bikers do to list.Thanks heaps Rob for providing a top first class service from start to end. We will definitely recommend to others.
P.Wonderful service from Rod on Saturday to hire two standard mountain bikes to do the Lake Dunstan Cycle Trail. Suggested a great route which was perfect for our biking ability. Easy service and great communication. Was a beautiful trail and definitely will be coming back!

They have various bike options such as MTB, electronic bicycle, and simple bike but comfortable for enjoying great Wanaka view. Just ask him which is suitable for your ride!! You'll have a wonderful exploring by bike.

Great pricing for hiring an e-bike. Managed to get around 3 or 4 vineyards in half a day, glad you recommended we take a bike bag for all the wine we got.

Z.The owner was one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He's so polite and helpful, you can tell he really cares about his customers. He keeps his bikes in fantastic condition, they look new. Price was pretty reasonable too. He gave us a map and recommended a route that was suitable for the amount of time we had. Thoroughly enjoyed our bike experience. Highly recommend it.

D.My husband and I rented bikes for the afternoon from this place in Cromwell. What a cute heritage site and friendly/helpful service! We rode up along Lake Dunstan and down along the Clutha River for several hours, never tiring of the gorgeous views and lack of people! What a beautiful day. Rod even gave us tips on some local stops to play in the water. We would definitely recommend checking this hidden gem out. And allow some time to stroll through the heritage site as well.

S.We hired an e-bike from the very nice and helpful owner, Rob. His bike was of a good quality, and one could see that he really does look after his bikes. His shop located in front of a beautiful lake shouldering other interesting and pretty shops in Cromewell. It could seem a little far from queenstown cbd but the drive there itself is scenic and enjoyable. So worth the visit. His price is more competitive compared to other hire places in queenstown cbd. You can also hire jusy a battery for your e-bike from him too. All in all, we highly recommend his place.

A.Super helpful and friendly service! It was super easy to hire the bikes here. We had a lot of fun taking out the bikes for a half day, the ride around the lake is especially beautiful. Bring your togs so that you can stop at swimming spots along the way!

R.I just had a great experience hiring an electric bike from Llevant Rental Bikes in Wanaka. I only had the bike for around 3 hours and covered around 30km+. As someone who loves adventure but who's lost some fitness since having children the electric bike was the way to go. My hands were hurting more from holding on then my legs from peddling. I did the Dean Bike trail and without the electric bike it would have been way above my current fitness level. If you have the time I would go for it.
