R.After my dropper post failed, I decided to replace it, but in the mean time I needed to remove the dropper post and replace it with a standard post. The issue was that the RockShox level was intergraded into the brake clamp. I went online to try source one and could not find one except in the USA. I tried my luck and called Evo Service dept, after explaining what I need they asked that I come through and show them. I drove down, they checked in the back and gave me one, for free! Now that is service. Yes its probably second hand but it does the job perfectly. Thank you Evo for assisting in my time in need.
T.I visited Evo Cycles this morning to purchase a scooter for my nephew. The store was well lit, with a range of bikes, bicycle apparel and products. Andy served me and we went to have a look at the available selection on the floor. When we couldn't see the color we wanted he offered to look at the back for the red one we wanted. He came back with the one we wanted and even offered to put it together for free (which was one less hassle for me) and offered a discount. After 5 mins we were off and my nephew happy. Thank you for the exceptional customer service today it was very much appreciated.

b.Evo Cycles quickly sorted my new warranty frame, I upgraded it to the Carbon model, and Trek were on the ball with their end aswell (standing behind their products). Sometimes online bike shops get a bad wrap for whatever reason, I can say Evo cycles have been excellent! How hot is this bike!

I purchase a bike from Evolution in February which I am very happy with. This weekend I noticed a small issue with my front wheel bearings and the staff in the Frankton store sorted it out straight away and as it was a small job and the age of the bike, there was no charge.
I have purchased both my sons bikes and intend to get the missus a new bike soonish, I will not hesitate to part with my cash in your store whilst recommending you to all.

T.Amazing service thanks guys! I responded to an online offer for one bike but they agreed to give me the same massive discount on another - higher spec - bike. When they couldn't find that bike in my size they even offered to strip another smaller bike and load the parts onto the correct frame size for me, which is definitely going the extra mile. Can't imagine many other bike shops doing that! Shipping was fast, bike left Hamilton Friday afternoon - arrived in Auckland Sat morning. Sam was super friendly and helpful, a credit to the store. Highly recommended and if I'm looking for a bike again I'll definitely look you guys up :-)

Purchased a bike online and used finance option which was quick and easy. Great bike and great price.
Was delivered promptly by Fastway courier and arrived overnight in Wellington from Hamilton in perfect condition. Reassembly instructions clear - took 15 minutes to assemble, most of the time was unpacking - couldn't be easier. Packing slip includes components and names of builder and checker if there should be a problem - wasn't one.
Great communications both by phone and email.
Couldn't have been an easier buy. Highly recommended.

A.I have bought two bikes from Evolution Cycles over the past couple of years, and both times the experience has been perfect - despite living in a separate city to them. Their salespeople have been clear, friendly and knowledgeable when I talked to them on the phone, the first organising my bike sale over the phone without a hitch.
The second bike I bought online using a credit card, I ordered it in the morning, had a confirmation email within the hour and then an email from the courier company telling me they'd picked up my bike and that it was on it's way to me by mid afternoon! It's been my experience that it takes longer than that for some stores to get new bikes to people even if you go in to purchase!
I'm so happy with Evolution Cycles, and look forward to buying many more bikes from them (Let's hope the missus doesn't see this) over the coming years - thanks guys!

K.This is a great bike shop with excellent customer service. I haven't always had good experience with bike shops. Last year I bought an expensive mountain bike from Bike Barn and it had some niggling issues at the start. I was faced with grumpy unhelpful sales people and a lot of shrugged shoulders. I came to believe that this was the typical service to expect. I dreaded going in there with questions about my bike and resented sending my bike there for a service.
I wanted to get my girlfriend a mountain bike for her birthday. I really didn't want to buy anything from Bike Barn but I was reluctant to buy from out of town in case there was any issue.
Evolution Cycles had some great bikes on offer and I decided to buy online as opposed to going back to Bike Barn. The bike was delivered quickly to the door and at no extra cost. Had a small issue with the bike. Contacted the dispatch team and Martin organised a replacement that arrived the next day. Incredible service that you normally don't get elsewhere. I'm sure i'll be getting my next bike here!
S.I have bought from Evolution Cycles on a few occasions including two Mountain Bikes and various accessories. The service and follow through is without question the best I have encountered. I live in Wellington and prefer to deal with them over local shops, it is interesting that you can deal with people in another part of the country and get a service level that is so exceptional. Well done guys, you are industry leaders and you sure know how to treat customers.
T.I recently purchased a Merida mountain bike and would totally recommend them to anyone wanting to purchase great specs without the price. Great customer service also; when I had a question about the gloves I had purchased in the same order, they were quickly onto the courier to check where they were. I will certainly buy again.

B.I recently bought a bike from Evolution Cycles online and could not be happier with it.
The bike rides like a dream and i was surprised at how quickly it shipped and arrived. A small amount of assembly, with very clear instructions, and i was ready to go. The head office kept me informed of the order progress, and the package was easily tracked all the way to front door. Living in Auckland, traffic can be a nightmare so got to work by foot at great expense of time. Now i don't need to walk, I pretty much fly.
K.My bike arrived yesterday. She is a thing of beauty, and I appreciate the great customer service - and the bike helmet! Unfortunately I have dropped the post which holds the saddle into the frame, but should be able to get this out with the help of a gizmo from a plumbing friend. All the best to you and the team ...
D.Hi I initially tried to order my bike online then couldn't decide how to pay so the order was not finished. I got a call (on a Sunday!) from Evo and we sorted out the payment easily.
The bike arrived within 2 days and the courier was awesome, usually couriers only knock once then disappear, this guy (fastway) waited till my daughter answered the door and then put the box inside for her.
The bike went together easily and had first 3 hour ride on Saturday after only having ordered it on Monday.
The bike is awesome and the communication and service from Evo is the best. Great work guys, keep it up! :-)

A.I thought customer service in NZ was dead only to have the staff at Evolution Cycles show me that it isn't. Awesome to deal with and exceeded my expectations by a long way. Ordered a bike late Wednesday, was able to pick it up from courier depot on Saturday after they changed some things on the bike for me. Prices are among the lowest I have seen both in NZ and through internet sites.
K.Bought a GT Karakoram Elite MB on-line from Evolution. Nice entry-level bike with up-graded equipment compared with other brands at similar pricing. Service from Evolution was excellent, with fast response, shipping and tracking. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
A.Purchased my new bike here recently, Evolution did me a great price and their service was great. They have an excellent range of bikes in-store and what they don't have they were able to get from their other stores and warehouse \ supplier.
I've been to one of their competitors Cycology in Hamilton East and had the worst retail experience i've ever had in a long time.
A.This is the second time that I have purchased a Bike from Evolution Cycles, using their online service. I do a bit of online research before purchasing anything and there is a number of Bike retailers around online, but every time, I have found that Evolution has the better price and the Service I receive from them is exceptional.

G.I'd done a little bit of homework on the bike I wanted, Evo had good payment terms and meet my budget, so instead of buying it online or from Tauranga I went to the Hamilton shop and made my purchase. The sales team were ok, no complaints really. When I picked up my bike they had it ready & good to go but they were in a bit of a hurry to do some filming so couldn't spend much time with me on the bike, I was also in a hurry. Being my first bike in over 8 years & with very little experience on the new technology there was no manuals or info on anything on the bike, I need to set the computers clock and i'm not sure how?, (youtube time!). Overall it was a ok experience, Karl was good & did well to up sell me. Will I go back? absolutely. Just a little more enthusiasm from some of the team would go miles. Cheers

J.I recently purchased a 2013 GT Karakoram 4.0 (29er) from these guys, and the service was primo! I initially saw the bike listed online and got in contact with Sam who helped me gauge what size frame I should be looking at and even went as far to offer me a couple of deals on other models I was looking at.
However, I couldn't be certain on frame size without trying the bike, so I took the trip to Hamilton to test ride them. I'm glad I did - the service was awesome and I got the right size bike for me. Stoked with the bike and the help I got.

c.Mavic Notch Helmet: I phoned up and asked about the helmet due to being on the upper edge of the M size, they came back to me the next morning as promised with confirmation that the size was ok, and if for any reason it wasn't then I could return the helmet. Ordered the next day, the helmet arrived the day after, shipping was free and the helmet is a great fit, a friendly polite, professional experience, thanks guys.

L.Went in to buy a basket for my Reid bicycle. The gentleman that helped me knew immediately what I wanted and within minutes it was payed for and ordered. I received a text message alert and an email a few days later when it had arrived in store. The only thing I will say is that the basket never came with instructions on how to attach to your bike. I guess for most people it's self explanatory, but I'm not handy myself, and not knowledgable with bicycles so I was kind of riding blind. I found something on youtube in the end, but had a couple pieces left over lol. Hopefully it won't fall apart!
M.No hesitation at all in recommending Evo Cycles. I was leaving it a bit late to get Miss nearly 6's birthday present. I rang the 'opposition' The Bike Barn- who to be honest werent very helpfull at all and coiuld not guarantee that my scooter would arrive in time (4 days out), so more or less fobbed me off. Ended up looking at Evo cycles on the recomendation of a fellow co-worker and glad I did, not only did they answer my quick chat straight away, as opposed to the next day from the 'opposition', and the scooter arrived the next day, and was $15.90 cheaperfor the same one, and much better customer service. Although the bike had been despatched and delivery was promised on a certain day by the courier company they failed to deliver. M.I ordered a bike from the crew at Evo Cycles. The bike arrived safely and as expected. The team prepare the bikes they sell and package them by hand. The pedal threads, seat mount and chain were all nicely lubricated ready to go. I was very impressed with the service that was provided.
a.Really helpful and friendly people here and prices are great. I went in to buy a bike for me and for my grandchild, and the accessories neesed. It was a bit daunting after years of being a non cyclist but the team there were great. I had gone into bike barn the same day and had been ignored. Voted with my feet! A.Buying a bike online carries a fair bit of risk due to not being able to try the bike before hand. Fortunately Nic from Evo Cycles went out of his way to answer my questions and arranged a great deal while accommodating a couple of changes to the way the bike was specced. Couldn't be happier with the MTB, both price and performance, and would recommend Evo Cycles to anyone.
S.Brought a 2014 MERIDA BIG SEVEN TFS 500 online. Bike turned up in a reasonable time, well packed and very easy to assemble.
I was quite surprised to find that it was basically already set up and all the gears were adjusted etc. and everything was ready to go out of the box.
Also EVO kept me informed by email throughout the process.

A.I ordered 2 scooters online that were on special at 9am and was pleasantly surprised to receive them the same day at 4pm! Also, the scooter I ordered was out of stock and so was offered an upgrade at no extra cost, even though the scooter was already heavily discounted. We picked up two new bikes and a bunch of accessories all for under $1600 delivered to AKL. Sam and the team were very helpful and extremely flexible with payment and were very patient with all of my questions I fired at them before the final sale was done and dusted.
Cam who served us was great in dealing with a couple of relative newbies to cycling and made us feel comfortable asking "dumb" questions that I'm sure he hears a dozen times a day!

I'm in Christchurch, I've done NZ Ironman twice, NZ Xterra last year, Sth Island 1/2 Ironman, 15 years of Triathlon and biked through Sicily and Italy 2011, and am about to bike through Sth France and Spain and the Pyrenees looking for Grand Tour mountains to hammer with a bunch of friends!
I have entered the Asia/South Pacific Oz Ironman champs in Melbourne next year 2014.
My wife who also does the Europe biking and 1/2 Ironman stuff is riding one of Evolution Cycles Lapierre Sensium 300 Pro bikes. This bike is just perfect for her, and Sam and the team at Evolution Cycles in Hamilton made the whole process of buying and getting the bike to Christchurch a piece of cake.Their pricing is hard to look past.
Communication was easy as.
Last year I bought from them a Trek Fuel 7 MTB. Same deal. Absolute pleasure to deal with and I am fussy. I rode this bike over the Heaphy Track last year and it was bullet proof!!
After sales service cant be faulted either. My wife put the rear derailleur through the spokes and Sam at Evolution cycles had a new Ultegra rear end and hangar in the post pronto! Brilliant.

The roads are all crazy gritted cos of the ice we get down here, but the bike was sweet as, super fast and smooth - came back home with a huge grin on my face just out of the sheer joy of riding this thing. I had been scouring the web for a highly recommended Look 675 frame, both here in Australia and overseas, but with little success, the available frames were either the wrong size or astronomically overpriced, when I happened upon Evolution's website and amazingly, Sam had a Look frame my size, with some extras for a surprisingly reasonable price. When I rang up to enquire, Sam was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. The deal was done, and a few days later, my well packed frame and fork appeared at my front door on the Gold Coast. Sam's communication with me was excellent and he showed a prompt and professional attitude in our transaction.
