M.I can see why Gary and Delia have 5 star reviews. I would have to agree. Gary looked at our ebikes at no notice. Squeezed us in. After a few checks diagnosed the problems and set too, to fix both. So onwards we went on the wilderness trail. Can't fault his expertise or workmanship. Our bikes have never run better. Not even from new. Thanks team

Gary recently serviced the rear suspension on my bike and it took like five minutes when It could take another shop twenty! The prices are excellent and they look after the locals. Thank you so much guys!

l.I called up Hokitika Cycles to gather more information on biking the Wilderness trail .I spoke with Delia and mentioned that we only had a day to do the trail and was so sweet and helpful on giving me tips for the best part/section of the trail. she set us up with a bus to take us to Kumara from the bike shop where would then bike the 71km back to the shop. When we got there the morning of (it was raining!!), our bikes were and helmets where ready to go (e bike for myself and a standard for my partner) . They filled up our water bottles, gave us a pep talk and said it will be beautiful and doable even with the rain (they were right) and sent us on our way. The bikes worked wonderful for us .And I was happy to have gone with the ebike as there were some massive hills and it was a real joy being able to turn on the motor and cruise my way up. I highly recommend this shop. They are caring and have great quality equipment for a reasonable place. Maybe next time we visit new zealand we will do the whole trail :)

W.A great place to get fitted out for mountain biking or to get gear to do the Wilderness Trail ....Owner is a Mountain Bike specialist and has great knowledge of nearly all of New Zealands Cycle Trails and walking tracks that are sometimes open for biking .... also lots of fishing gear as well
