Friendly staff, easy bikes to ride AND offered to collect copious bottles of wine purchased along the way with a ride back to accommodation afterwards. Good value for money.

An amazing company that goes above and beyond. They honoured everything in the booking even though due to covid they hadn't been doing a lot of the extras anymore. It was a fantastic ride made even better by the people that work for this wonderful kiwi owned business. Highly recommend them to anyone!

Lots of bike options from classic euro wine tour bikes, e bikes, Croc bikes, and rickshaws. Book ahead on long weekends or summer months. Hire a bike for a wine trail or an alfresco lunch at poppies, luna, or Colombo.

Great service. When the weather turned to rain these guys transferred our bike option to a shuttle. Third time we have used them. Service to perfection!

Fantastic trip away and one we will remember for a long time We had adventure, fun, sunshine and rain but most of all unforgettable memories. Green jersey were a great company to deal with and Joe was an awesome guide always looking out for us. Would highly recommend this company

What a great way to experience Martinborough! My husband and I rented 2 bikes and putzed around town to a couple wineries. Absolutely wonderful day, and GJ even picked up the wine we bought so we didn't have to lug it around. Would definitely like to do this again!

Green Jersey awesome tour Remutaka, Cape Palliser and on to Tora, Great support in times of need and emergency, over and beyond expectations. wonderful scenery, exceptional food and comfy beds. Recommend anyone try this cycling tour group.

E bikes available for our wine tour. Easy going staff who sorted things really quickly. There was quite a few people and staff got things sorted with no fuss

We have booked cape palliser tour after looking for the best day trip out of Wellington. Unfortunately, the weather was not so kind. However, our guide Joe is awesome. Bring us to see the seal, the sheep and try his utmost best to bring us to see the cattle farm. Our whole family has an enjoyable trip! Thanks Joe and Stuart, both of you are brilliant!

Used Green Jersey for a shuttle and croc bike hire. Our shuttle driver was very friendly and made for an enjoyable trip. Good value for our group of 14.

We visited in 2017 and had a great time on the wine tour. Unfortunately it started to rain halfway through, but the tour company quickly got a van out and we completed the tour. We had a wonderful time.

Green Jersey Cycle Tours are the best place to go for bike rentals in Martinborough. They have a full range of bikes, trikes, rickshaws, big 6 seater bikes to suit any number group or preference. We hired a rickshaw and a tandem, both were in great condition and we were given a very thorough and friendly tutorial before heading out. Friendly guys, our rickshaws battery ran low in the day and one of the Green Jersey guys popped in to swap it out for a freshly charged one, excellent service! Would be 5 stars but the hire is was a little pricey, well very expensive in my opinion, but still made for a great day. Cheers GJC team.

Fantastic experience! We took the Cape Palliser Tour which is not a cycling tour. Joe was incredibly friendly, super informative and knowledgeable about everything, and professional. The hike to the Putangirua Pinnacles was amazing. Highly recommend Green Jersey Tours.

This was so much fun! We rented the 4 person cabana from Italy and had a blast pedaling to vineyards! Super great way to spend an afternoon

A group of six of us decided to tackle the Remutaka Cycle trail. Green Jersey tailored our trip to suit - shuttling us to and from to enable the best experience. There is no doubt that Stus experience, knowledge and cheerful company enhanced our adventure - we just loved it. Thank you Green Jersey!

Took the team from work (10 people) on a wine tour of Martinborough and was a brilliant day out on the ‘Green jersey cycles’ bikes. They have a great selection of bikes, were easy to deal with and the whole wine pick up service just topped it off. Stu (one of the owners) was great to deal with and made the whole experience friendly and enjoyable. We went to 4 wineries (had about 20 to choose from) and one didn’t take groups (no big deal) so ended up wining and dining at 3. Started at 12.00 and finished at 4.30 with a group of varying fitness and riding levels and everyone came out with smiles at the end. Definitely reccomend hiring a bike with these guys and exploring Martinborough.

A well organised 5 day Rimutaka & Lake Ferry, Cape Palliser- White Rock cycle trip for our group of 10. Enthusiastic knowledgeable guide accompanied us most of the way with the bike trailer. Great scenery and good value.

Friendly service with a smile. We all rode well maintained bikes. However I would say hire prices are about 25% too high. I would suggest to the owners to experiment with a group hire rate, pre-booked rate, or a mid week vs weekend rate, etc. for the budget inclined visitors.

We arranged a transfer from our remote AirBnB house with Stewart and the service was outstanding. The winery tasting recommendations were spot on. A brilliant day. E-bikes are the way to go!

Great place to rent bikes and more! They go around the vineyards and pick up any wine you buy on your ride around for you to pick up at the end of the day. We had to catch the bus back to greytown and unfortunately the wine wasn't back by then. One of the lovely staff offered to drop it off to us later and we had it by 6.30pm that day! Amazing service and will definitely be back next time.

Thanks to the team at Green Jersey tours - fantastic friendly service, no task to small! We used their shuttle service to drop us off in Upper Hutt to complete a section of the Rimutaka cycle trail ,excellent advice from Stu on various routes. Hopefully see you soon!

We hired one of the 4 person "jalopys". Had a great time visiting the wineries. I should warn that it takes a team effort to move the beast and we felt the ladies on the back seat were cruising a bit. The 11 year old granddaughter made up for this by running along behind alternating between pushing and hanging on. Recommend if you still have some gas in yer legs.

Super friendly staff from the moment we arrived, fantastic choice of different bikes and Simon was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide - lunch at Poppies was a fantastic end to the morning. Super experience from a great local business.

Incredible customer service! Joe went above and beyond for us, giving us tips about the best places to ride in the area, and all the gear we could have wanted! We were very well looked after, I couldn't recommend them enough.

Had a ride in their bubble bike around the town square. So hilarious. Never laughed so much in my life. Will definitely be back to try the other bike contraptions. So much fun to be had. Thank u Green Jersey.

Amazing day riding Green Jersey’s bikes through the wineries as part of a team building trip with colleagues. Massive props to Stu for his outstanding service, friendly attitude and for going above and beyond with our group.

Fantastic service on the Rimutaka Inclined self guided tour. Very helpful staff who set us up with a great lunch and good bikes for a great ride from Kaitoke to Featherston. They track you with a GPS so they can meet you with the pick up van when you're at the destination.

Bike hire made very easy. 5 min and you're out the door. Reccomend riding to Olivio and working your way anti clockwise through the vineyards...

I am so pleased I did the Rickshaw Winery Tour! I was joined by Clare (Destination Wairarapa) and we were very fortunate to have the lovely Bronwyn as our host and cyclist for our venture. What more could one want, with fabulous scenery enhanced by glorious weather. Our first stop was Palliser Winery and Clare and I enjoyed at least 5 tastings, together with the detailed description of each by a very knowledgeable host (Anne?). The second Winery was Te Kairanga, where once again we sampled beautiful wines, again matched with interesting facts. It was here that Bronwyn prepared our picnic lunch which had been beautifully cooked by Stuart (owner of Green jersey Cycle Tours and Louisa) on the verandah. WOW! What a beautiful array of yummy delights Clare and I enjoyed! Meats, cheeses, pates, olives, breads, vegetarian frittata etc, finishing off with a luscious pear and almond tart with blueberries, washed down with a delightful cider!! Afterwards we "coasted" to our final winery of the day which was Schubert, where I succumbed and bought a bottle of 'Dolce', an outstandingly smooth dessert wine! I want to say "what a beautiful fun-filled day I enjoyed, enhanced by fabulous food. wine and great company, together with glorious scenery"!! Thanks heaps Stuart, Bronwyn and Louisa for making it a day to be remembered. 110% recommended!

This place couldn’t be any better. Incredibly generous staff who go out of their way to make sure you have the best possible experience of their part of the world. Ask them for route planning advice if you are looking to go on a longer ride.

They rent out cycles to hop to different wineyards. They have 2 and 4 attached cycles (dont know what you call them ).
