Kelvin provides a very friendly service, feels like he genuinely cares. Serviced my bike incredibly well, recommend this shop for anyone as you will be pleased with a some top service and fair pricing.

Nelson gold! Kelvin's is an awesome bike repair shop. Kelvin and Dean, the mechanics, are really good and super friendly. We've been using Kelvins for 15+ years. Recently they installed aftermarket electric motors onto 2 Kona Ute bikes and did tubeless conversions on our mountain bikes. Highly recommended

Not all businesses are equal. After taking my recently purchased secondhand e-bike to flash new bike shop close to where I work for a full service and an overhaul including the breaks I was left disappointed by the service and the result. NOT so with this wee gem, Kelvin's Cycles you ROCK! Great advice, made me feel very welcome, very helpful additional information about my bike I didn't know, a job done to the standard it should have been done to by the other shop, time to discuss the options and find solutions for attaching my bike to the custom made rack I purchased, a good laugh and help loading my bike onto my car. Kelvin you and your staff provide outstanding service all round, thank you for such a positive experience, you are my number one stop bike shop for sure!

What a wonderful gem of a bike shop. Kelvin cares a lot for his costumers and goes out of his way to help. He gave me some great advice on what may be causing my knee problems on my touring bike. I also bought a very strong bike mirror from him for an excellent price. He really does love all things bike and has a passion for helping others. Highly recommend

Awesome professional and competent service ice. Repacked rear wheel bearings and replaced rotors and got us back on the road in under 5 hours! When every minister ounts on the road for cycle touring, this was exceptional service. Plus we got added value with some good local knowledge of what routes to do next! We are two very satisfied Canadian cyclists!

I've been a customer for several years now without fault. If you want highly competent mechanics working on your bike bring it here. If you want to take your chances with whoever comes in after school on a Tuesday then try elsewhere. If you have a particularly unique problem or need a part for something from the 80's give them a try.

I cannot comprehend some of the negative reviews that Kelvin Cycles has received. I have been a customer for the past three years both owning and ordinary bike and now an Ebike. The service I have received from his team has been excellent and the last overhaul service of my Ebike was $20!! How they work our of such a small environment is challenging but exemplary.

I bought a Merida e.Big.Seven 600 ebike from Kelvin. As a man in his late 50s returning to bicycles after 30 years it took me some time and visits to several bike local dealers to decide what I wanted - an ebike capable of doing the shopping, whilst not closing off the possibility of offroad cycling. The Bike I chose was an eMTB that needed to be 'civilised' - mudguards, pannier rack and a dropper post (to counteract my stiff hips). Kelvin made special efforts to get these things installed, the time for which was not charged. Don't overlook this 'hole in the wall' gem! with more traditional values.

Top team at Kelvin's. Sorted out a bunch of issues I picked up touring, very friendly and offered some great advice on the bike. Also was really impressed to see such good value on parts from an independent.
