M.I love my MeloYelo bike which is so easy to ride when it’s windy and also up the hill I live at the top of.
I am impressed with the philosophy of the company and found trying the bike on a quiet country road at Dave’s place in Otaki made all the difference and gave me the confidence that I was purchasing a very good product.
I haven’t yet got to my 500km for various reasons but when I do I shall be availing myself of the free service check.
I have recommended MeloYelo to a number of people and have no hesitation in doing this.
Great product, great company and the reps have great knowledge as they are bikers themselves.
I.I am in my mid 60's & while I have biked in previous years, due to hip issues have found it increasingly harder to get out & ride.
I purchase a Melo Yelo town & Trail in December 2021 and have since ridden 300kms on the bike. It has opened up a new world of experience, I live on the Kapiti Coast and riding the expressway track & other tracks around the area has been an enjoyable experience. The bike is superb to ride & while some friends have said it is a cheat to own an e bike, I know I would not have ridden the distances I have on a non e bike.
Shane, the dealer in kapiti is very knowledgeable & a very helpful bloke to deal with.
m.My Melo Yelo Tranzit was put to the test when I rode the Titahi Bay to Pauatahanui inlet Which I might add for myself it was a very challenging ride, it had more puff than what I did.
P.I was lucky enough to call in and see more stock than they have on the web site. I ended up purchasing a Melo Yelo Roam. An amazing bike, made all the better with the teams exceptional knowledge of the products. I have been back a few times for accessories and am always amazed at how much they know and actually test out the products. From water bottle to puncture proof gels. That makes a difference as you know you are buying quality. If you are in the area and in the market for an E Bike, the specifications at this price point are amazing.
