Bikeaholic is the shop that nearly 4 years ago, put me on a bike that would be right for me and my needs, and not at the very top of my budget pointlessly, to serve a businesses needs. It's the shop that 3 bikes in, volunteered to solve a plethora of warranty issues on my ultimate push iron, even though I had been unfaithful and bought elsewhere through another supplier. It's the shop that built me a custom hardtail and liaised with me over every minuscule detail to keep price and spec on point so I could enjoy it without an ounce of buyers remorse. I feel welcomed literally every time I walk through the door, by the crew and also by Matt's dugs (dogs). This isn't just when I'm spending money either, its every single time, for any reason. So if you're also now a Bikeaholic, why the hell would you get your fix anywhere else?

While on a trip by bike with my girlfriend, I've rent for a few hours my dream machine: Yeti SB150. The crew help me set up the bike and they took the time to show me on a map the best trails around. Thank you guys! From Canada.

My wife and I hired two bikes from another store. We were stranded on a motor way middle of no where, heavy rain, next to a cemetery with a flat tire from a nail. A man, happened to be one of the owners of this store, drivers by with his car having bike rack attachments, he offers to help us. So we head back to his home and we call the bike store to pick us up from there and his wife and him gave us hot drinks and great yarns. Conclusion, this man from a different bike store offered to help us, even though we hired bikes from a different bike store. Amazing man

Rented a Transition Patrol for a day of riding at Skyline. Good price for a rental of such high caliber. Bike was set up flawlessly and one of the few rentals where swapping the brakes to non-Moto-style was no problem at all. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly with bike set up and trail suggestions. Location is convenient in Queenstown. Great shop!

I'd ridden a few trails on friends' bikes and went to Bikeaholic to help me choose my own. As I hadn't done much riding I relied on the knowledge and expertise of the guys to find me the kind of bike I wanted, and they didn't disappoint. They were super friendly and helpful, and thanks to their great knowledge and advice I've got a bike which I absolutely love. It's a total joy to ride and I'm so grateful to Bikeaholic for fixing me up with a bike that I just don't want to put down!

Great bikes, Great Service, Great people, Great value. We rented for cruise on Queenstown trails and the bikes we're best sized, tuned, and set up I have ever rented. Treat yourself you won't regret your choice.

Very knowledgeable bunch of guys. They have a great selection of kona bikes and offer a few as rentals. Apart from that they do servicing in house so if you need your own bike serviced they will take care of you and make it safe for riding. I just moved here and visited a few shops and this is going to be my spot for servicing! Highly recommend.

Awesome shop! On a trail bike (by van) tour of the South Island I stopped in to get a trail map and met Justin who took the time to line me up w his recommendations. I went back a few days later to ask about some local shuttles and talked w matt who was equally engaging and generous w info and suggestions. Today my front brake blew up so I brought the bike in expecting to have to leave it there for a day or two but the mechanic (Jake I think) just took care of it on the spot. Refreshing to find a super helpful and authentic bike shop amidst Queenstown madness! Thanks guys!

The guys are always willing to help out and prices are pretty sharp. What made me a loyal bikaholic customer is the fact matt gave me free advise on a fork service and even gave me a few ml of fork oil for the lowers and some sram butter when I'd never been in the shop before. Buy local! Support bikaholic. You wont be disappointed. I won't go anywhere else now.

I was on an Enduro Race and Bikeaholic did an awesome job on getting my bike fixed ASAP with such a short notice. They went above and beyond to get the parts I needed and get my bike fixed and running for the next day's race. Similarly, they also have assisted other guys in our team with getting their bikes up and running. Their shop also stocks high-end enduro bikes for rental so if you get stuck, they would be able to sort you out for sure. Probably, the best bikeshop in Queenstown. Cheers

I can't thank Mat and Justin enough. I was looking to buy a new mountain bike a few weeks ago and they spent the time to listen to my needs and requirements and specified a bike to suit. They let me test a Kona for the day before I purchased, to reassure me that the process 111 was right for me. My new Kona is everything I hoped for and more. Great prompt, personal service from a very enthusiastic team. They even pointed me in the right direction of great rides to suit my ability. Thanks again. Highly recommended

Best bike service ever from the lads at Bikeaholic. these guys don't miss a trick - that grip that was rotated incorrectly that I had been noticing every ride and forgetting to fix after every ride? Sorted. The chain that was on backwards (when I didn't know there even was a forwards/backwards for chains)? Sorted. Bike was mint and rode sweet. Bikeaholic is what you always want your local bike shop to be but it almost never is. For anything mountain biking related in Queenstown, Bikeaholic is who you want to talk to. Simple as that.
