G.Had an issue with my new bike's front fork after only 48 hours of owning it. It wasn't fully extending. They sorted it out quickly on-site, which saved having to send it back to the manufacturer for warranty etc, which meant less time without the new bike. E.Wifey here. 50 year old total Novice. Firstly the service from Mitch was excellent. He had all the patience, care, kindness, and expertise a person could ask for. The shop is well stocked with a huge variety of goods so you can really find just the right accessories to suit you. If you have never mountain biked before I highly recommend the Trek Stache 29+ mid fat bike. It gave me every confidence for my first time on the trails because it simply floats over everything. If you want to whip around trails with a fat smile on your face and feel whats its like to be running water over a river bed, then you cant go wrong with this bike. Let them help you with the correct size and what ever you need to get the most pleasure out of making your rides fun and carefree, because thats what its all about. (At least at my novice level) If you live in Rotorua and have never mountain biked before, open your world up now. There is nothing more fun than feeling like a kid for a few hours playing in the dirt amongst the trees. Just working over the beginner tracks of the, Gorge, Tahi, Creek, and Dipper to get a feel of trail riding, and the feeling is very, very, good. Happy days ahead.

A.I bought my bike from EVO few months ago. Though I went to a few other places prior, I bought my bike from EVO because the staff were friendly and helpful in clarifying my doubts that strongly influenced my decision to buy a bike as a newbie to mountain biking. They fitted a dropper post with remote for a very reasonable price. Thanks to all the staff, especially to Bert and others whose name I forgot.
