Ryan and Sam are bloody legends. Dropped everything to fix a bust wheel spoke when I was half way round Lake Taupō and then drove me back to where it broke so I could carry on. You won’t go wrong with Top Gear. Use them if you can. Brilliant service.

Absolutely incredible service, had a issue with my bike and they drove to Hawkes bay to pick it up, sorted the issue out and dropped it back. Incredible customer service from Ryan and team, highly recommend them.

friendly staff/owner. i'm no expert but ebikes here very suitable for huka trails. first helmets which didn't make us look like an alien.

Walked in the door to a big friendly, "Welcome"! Then dropped everything to help me out with my emtb problem at 3pm Friday afternoon, then also fitted a chain & cassette for me. Amazing customer service from the top down. Thanks Clayton, Nigel & Mark for being GC's and for the cold beers to put the icing on the cake. Highly recommend!!

It's not often these days you get to experience A1 customer service like I had from James @ Top Gear Cycles today. I was looking at purchasing a bike off trade me from Christchurch and phoned the shop to ask if I could book the bike in for an inspection. James went out of his way to make the process easy for me. He went above and beyond and gave excellent advise. Highly recommend these guys. Thanks for all the help, Chrissie

What a great shop. Top Gear helped me out with a loan rear shock for my bike while my one was being serviced. I am super pleased with their service.

Amazing shop, super friendly and knowledgeable staff, lots of gear, tools, and supplies! Helped replace a broke bolt on my bike box free of charge. Highly recommended!!! Only place that had Clif gels when everyone else in town sold out or didn't carry it pre-ironman new Zealand.

These guys are fabulous. They have helped with sorting a warrenty issue on an ebike I did not purchase from them. I plan to get my next ebike from them since they, Mark in particular, has more knowledge and understanding of ebikes than any of a number of other cycle retailers I have dealt with in NZ and abroad.

I needed a bike box but couldn't get here until the Sunday when the shop is closed. They very kindly left one at the back where I could pick it up. Thank you!

These guys helped me out with my last-minute pre-race bicycle woes. Super friendly staff. Store caries mostly MTB gear & bikes.

Mark and the team went out of their way to fix my drive train when they where super busy anyway. very much appreciated and they tweeked a few other bits as a matter of course.
