Helpful sales assistant when I needed guidance choosing a bottle for someone else. Would definitely return for any future bicycle needs.

As an avid weekend road warrior, when my FIFO work life permits, I love browsing bike shops, and drinking coffee, so I was very excited to see these favourites side by side, writhing the same walls. I get the feeling that the baristas here take their craft very seriously, taking pride in their product and presentation. The ambience is casual, and if you like cycling, then this bike shop will have you quite fascinated, as it specialises in electric bikes, including cargo bikes, kiddy haulers, touring bikes, plus commuters and mountain bikes. They also have a range of Brompton collapsible bikes, which have somewhat of a cult following in the UK, and it looks like they might be available to hire here?
The coffees were very nice, and my daughter’s homemade toasted muesli with banana, Greek yoghurt and rhubarb looked divine. There’s also some tasty looking Shelly Bay sandwiches on offer, plus a few other cookies, bliss balls etc. If cookbooks are also your thing, then there are a few on the bookcase to browse through too. Free WIFI available.

Great coffee, scones and bike service! To be honest I love to go in there just to envy all the new bikes they have on display..

Great space for an intimate concert, thanks Dan for organising this. Monty gave a great performance!

Cafe and bicycle shop in one. Has some equipment which I have not seen before but I do not lurk around cycle shops much. Coffee was good. Others in our group said the date scones were up there with the best they have had. Not a large shop so some may want more selection.

Just bought ourselves one of these bad boys. Excellent advice and service, was set up same day at request, two services included. Two thumbs up. Good coffee too!

Visited from Australia last year (from NZ originally and lived in Wellington in the 70's & 80's) and loved it - the shop, building, location, idea mixing cycles with food and coffee - great. A lot of history in this part of town. A 5 star rating experience! Thanks and will return.

The folks at bicycle junction have provided me invaluable support multiple times over the past few months, helping me get my commuter up to scratch and set up with a lekkie kit. They run free workshops which are awesome, they know their stuff and are very friendly. Big thanks to Stewart who saved my night commute from turning into a massive uber bill, helping me fix my chain that came off and got wedged between ring and frame just after closing hours. Happy to continually spend money there for the solid knowledge and support.

I've got an old 3 speed hub that's on it's way out, so I went in asking for help, I got way more advice then I could imagine without any pushy sales stuff. It was like travelling back to a time before sales targets when staff just focused on happy customers over profits.
They also have a huge range of stuff for commuter bikes like hydraulic rim brake pads, in this case, for less than what they costs online! The coffee's great too!

What a legendary shop! And their staff are true believers. They know their bikes and they truly believe in the stuff they sell. The shop also has a great atmosphere. I hope they can recreate it when they move to their new site. Can't wait to check out the new digs.

Amazing bike shop for electric bicycles. They fixed my electric problems and the fiscal problems created by "Electric Bikes Electrify" shop. All in one morning. Will always come back here for all my future bike support and future bikes. Highly recommend it! Thank you

Went in here after going to bike barn and being told that "they couldn't help me and that it's new bike time". Super nice and helpful guy behind the counter. Got me exactly what I was asking for and the best part was the price. Keep it up guys.

Wellington's best bike shop by far! Bicycle Junction people are welcoming, they know their stuff, live their passion for cycling and are there to share it with others. Great selection of urban gear and a super vibe in the store. Well done on creating something special for Wellington!

I have wanted a classy looking upright ladies bike for years and I finally found the perfect one at Bicycle Junction! It has an enormous basket on the front which can carry 30 kgs: that's a weeks groceries. I chose to get the electric assist to help get me up the big hills with a heavy load. It also helps to get me home fast when the weather is less than ideal! I feel much more confident riding an electric through town now, as I can take off fast at the lights plus I don't feel like holding the cars back. It's funny, going faster makes me feel safer on the road so I head out more often! Thanks Bicycle Junction!

Great shop and great people! a good place to get real urban cycling know-how and product info. Coffee is good too. Much better to have a choice other than racing and mountain bikes.

The first post Lockdown gig I was at with the Cuba Dupa festival. A civilised space with excellent coffee, great ambience. Everything about the place speaks of understated good quality.

Great staff and always cool bikes to look at. Would also recommend the lemon cake in their cafe:)

I discovered my BB had died just prior to arriving in Wellington and asked around numerous bike shops trying to source a replacement and Bicycle Junction overnight-ordered the part to get me up and running before I left Wellington a couple of days later. Fantastic service and really friendly staff.
M.
Great food, felt a little weird though having people coming in to shop for bikes when you're eating. Also it was pretty loud in there too - not form customers.
M.
Great place to hold a meeting, wonderful sandwiches and coffee.
The fact it also sells amazing urban bikes is a bonus!
S.
Fantastic shop, great place to get bikepacking, touring or practical bikes. Good coffee also

Got my touring ebike serviced here. Top quality maintenance. You get what you pay for. Thanks heaps.

Hadn't been there before. Nice coffee and food. Great range of bikes and accessories. Will be back.

Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. Went out of their way to help us find an ebike that’d take our little one with heaps of test rides. Highly recommended.

Bought the Christiania electric cargo bike from Dan. It is basically our company vehicle. Always super quick to fix bike issues 5/5!

I wish we had shops like yours in Christchurch. I miss my community orientated bike/coffee stop in Sydney.

Very helpful. Great bikes, great customer service. Thank you.

My tire popped as I was biking home and these guys sold me a new tube and changed the tire for me even though they were about to close! Thanks very much.

I have been in here a few times lately after some renovation advise, with a view to buying parts. I was disappointed by the lack of maintenance knowledge of the two guys who I spoke to. They seem to rely on a guy called Sam.
s.
If you are interested in e-bikes this is the place to go. They really know there stuff and they even do a fantastic coffee.

Date scones are the bomb. The lamination just simply amazing. Sorry chef talk.... best in town! Must try!
T.
Nice bike shop and friendly staff. Lots of nice Brompton bikes to chose from and they are good with allowing test rides.
T.
I regularly stop in here for a coffee or a chat and occasionally a small repair, honestly whats not to like. While they don't sell the types of bike's they sell I support the cycle commuter movement and support these guys
A.
Great crew, very knowledgeable and helpful
