Excellent and professional service by Terence and Jenny. They patiently guided me through many weeks of trying to choose my first e-bike. Even got a complimentary high vis vest. All the Terence’s I know appreciate good quality service 😊.

In November 2021, I moved to Wellington and needed the best mode of transport to commute. I bought a smart motion E-bike from Electrify NZ, Wellington. Having very little experience on an e-bike I contacted Terry Stevens the owner who was the most trusting, kind and thoughtful person .Terry gave me expert advice and the opportunity to take the bike on a test drive which enabled me to make the best choice. Jenny Stevens was equally exceptional in her service as she helped me through the transaction and ensured I got the best value and discount. I felt well supported with this husband and wife duo. They truly differentiate the Electrify Brand. If you want top notch service- Electrify NZ, Wellington is the E-Bike specialist you must visit.

Terry and Jenny were a fantastic help to me as I selected my e-bike. I was able to test ride a few, and once I had made my selection they showed me how it all worked and how to care for it. They have a great range of accessories too, and I look forward to heading back for its routine first 200km service. Thanks!

This is the place to go and the people to go to when purchasing an e-bike. I got the most exceptional advice and service from both Terry and Jenny as they helped me make the best choice ever!! I SIMPLY LOVE my SmartMotion E-bike - it is everything and more that I had hoped for. I just burst into a smile every time I get on board! Terry and Jenny know their stuff - and without pressure, guided me toward the best decision for my needs. I have popped back in with a slight query and they have been immediately helpful and trusting - and while I don't know the service team by name, they are obviously outstanding people too! This is quite a financial investment and I feel assured that if/when I need support and service, Terry and Jenny will willingly provide it. I cannot recommend this team highly enough and would direct anyone looking to purchase an e-bike HERE - without hesitation.

Really friendly and helpful service. Such great advice and very genuine. They threw in a few extras and even provided complimentary delivery for me for a great product. Would highly recommend.

The team were eager to help and let me take multiple test rides which helped me feel comfortable making my purchase. I’ve just had the 6 month service and it’s back to riding like a dream. I’ve only had positive experiences all the times I’ve been in to both the Petone and Wellington stores.

I took my Specialized hybrid bike in to ask if it could be converted and was given an enthusiastic response, it was speedily done in a couple of weeks and I am now able comfortably to cycle 20km to work here in S Wairarapa on gravel and tarmac. The battery seems to last well and the conversion has made minimal difference to my bike apart from weight. I am promised after sales service and I have had nothing but a positive experience at Electrify NZ. Highly recommended

The (relatively) new owners of this Electrify NZ Wellington shop provide fabulous customer service. We needed some advice and info for our insurance company regarding a brand of bike they sell but they went above and beyond in their response(s), despite the fact there was no monetary gain for them. Not something you get much of these days. Thanks.

Terry and Jenny were very helpful both on the day I bought my bike and when I returned to pick it up. It is just what I was looking for and they made sure that it suited me. With the stadium concourse just over the road I had plenty of time and space to try the bike out both up and down the ramps and on the flat. Thanks!

Just picked up my e-bike after it's 2k km service, and my bike feels like new again! Very pleased with the service received from the friendly and helpful team, can not fault anything. We have purchased two e-bikes (his and her's) from Electrify and have not had a single problem. I highly recommend buying e-bikes from this store, and also their after sale service.

We recently bought two great Black ATB ebikes from Terry and Jenny and they were so helpful! They even organised a loaner bike rack because ours wasn't arriving on time and we live a couple of hours away. They have a good selection of ebikes, are knowledgeable (and are happy to find out anything they don't know!) and their communication and online support has been extremely useful

Major mechanical problem with my EBike motor. No warranty and thought a new bike was the only solution. Tim sorted the problem and negotiated with the manufacturer for a great solution. I was very very pleased. Fix was fast, affordable and permanent. Great service. Regards and many thanks

Great service. Terry and Jenny were super helpful and attentive even when busy. They had lots of helpful advice for a novice. I liked the test ride option where you can take a bike for 24 hours. I could take a bike to a place I know and ride to see what it was like to ride.

I bought two electric bikes from Terry and Jenny just over a week ago and enjoyed the experience. Terry is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions without going into technical detail. My son and I appreciated the test run on the bikes. Terry helped me to understand how to look after my bikes and how to get the maximum enjoyment out of them. We have been enjoying our bikes for a week now and expect to enjoy them for a long, long time. We recommend Terry and Jenny for any of your electric bike requirements.

Bought two bikes because they listened to what we wanted. Gave us test rides on 5 bikes, then explained each bike. Perfect service. Mike. Liked the service and people so much I'm back again. Recently purchased a Magnum e-bike from the team just before COVID lock down. Excellent after sale support and maintenance, and the handy location in the CBD makes servicing during work hours a breeze. Can drop the bike off from 8AM and pickup in the afternoon. Easy

I bought my Magnum Metro here and have since had 18 months of relatively trouble free commuting. When problems have arisen the staff in Petone have been fast, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. The service charges always seem reasonable. Whilst the shop is well stocked with handy accessories I'm grateful that they're never trying to make a sale, just get you back on your way. Likewise, when I bought the bike I had a good long conversation with the staff about how I would be using it and what I wanted from it and was recommended a bike best suited to my needs rather than the business's turnover. I've only been into the city branch once to drop off my damaged bike at 3 mins to 5. Thanks heavens they stay open exactly the hours they claim. They transported my bike to the Petone branch which was more convenient for me to collect it from. Definitely 5 star service.

Problem solved , I can't thank Terry enough for tracking down a new spare part for my E City Urban bike. After 3 other outlets ( in NZ and OZ) had just said , too hard, too much trouble, to find a new motor control unit for a 5 year old bike , but within 48 hours Terry had it sorted and went one step further and arranged del' to Syd Aust. Posted Midday Monday , arrived Midday Friday ( 4 days del excellent ) Most retailers now days, only want to sell what's on the shelf in their store, it wasn't the case here . Again thank you for the good aftersales service for a brand you sell and still support. Warwick

Wellington Electric Bikes have a great range of e-bikes and the team are very knowledgeable about the different models. We initially looked at one bike which was more expensive but after saying what we wanted the bike for, bought a cheaper model with the right features. Can't fault this team!

We are visitors from Nelson. My near new e-bike (purchased in Nelson) needed an urgent small repair. It was near closing time on a Sunday, and the friendly and cheerful team effectively made the necessary adjustments at no charge to us. Many thanks again!

Was great to be able to test the bike on the route I would be riding. It handled the hill no problem and they fixed the slip on gear one before I took the bike home. Great service.

I bought my Magnum in November 2015 from Cliff. I had troublefree cycling till 27 December 2017 when I had battery problems. As we were going camping on the 29th and with our bikes I rushed over the hill to see Cliff and he was superb. I left the shop mobile again and had a fantastic holiday with bike in tow. The staff at Wellington Electric Bikes are knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to spend time answering lots of questions. No problem with having a test ride. Highly recommended. The eBike takes care of Wellington's hills and headwinds!

Hi today I had the pleasure of test riding the 2019 KTM Macina Kapoho 2973. What a machine if you are in the market for a capable,aggressive and VERY powerful mountainbike ??then this bike should be at the top of your shopping list. Lots of travel, good componentrey, huge battery capacity and did i mention HUGE amounts of pedal assist very planted riding and good warranty. Regards Chris Bailey

I recently bought an ebike from electrify Wellington store. Their customer service is brilliant. I made my purchase online expecting a courier to drop of a partly assembled bike in a box (lockdown etc was happening). In reality electrify sent a very knowledible person to drop off my ebike in person (level 2 rules followed) and explain how to charge and disconnect the battery etc. He had lots of tips, was friendly and knew his stuff. The ebike was fully set up for me and full charged. Tip top service. The ebike itself is a magnum voyager and I would also recommend this bike. It has a good bit of power to get even the unfit up hills. The bike is perfect for a daily commute and very user friendly to ride. I am not stranger to being on two wheels but this is the first ebike I have owned and I am not disappointed. Well done Wellington electrify 10/10.
