Arrived at the shop mid afternoon on Thursday, totally sodden from riding in from Featherston over the Rimutaka trail in solid rain. The guys in the shop were incredibly helpful to get our wet bikes packed in boxes so we could catch our flight back to Tauranga. Thanks heaps. Your help wont be forgotten in a hurry!

Mike (and the other guys at Giant Wellington) just want you out and having fun on your bike. I've bought multiple bikes from them as well as regularly popping in for service, advice and kit. Never pushy. Always reasonable. Honest and hard working. Certainly much better service than the sales driven, pretentious and corporate style bike shops around town.

Super helpful and friendly team, they are not just there to take your money. Best bike shop in Wellington!

John and the team highly knowledgeable about cycling and their bikes, and possess excellent customer service. I bought the Giant Contend 1 (2018) last Sept, and being new to road bikes, John was meticulous in setting up the bike for me and also guiding me on riding techniques as well. The after-sales service is impeccable too - the purchase of the bike include free checks of the bike at 6-week, 6 months and a year! I walk-in to the store now and then for advice and minor tweaks on the bikes, and they have always served swiftly me with smile! Highly recommend the bikes and the people here! And I am loving my bike!

The staff is so helpful! John was so great, spending time to break down the differences between a hardtail and full-suspension! He has so much knowledge about biking and the Giant brand! I had been to a few shops in the area, but his customer service was so great I stopped shopping around! The shop even helped me install my new bike rack! I am soo happy with my bike and can’t wait to pop in for more “niceties.”

I recently bought a second hand bike off a friend. I took it in to be looked at by the team at Giant because I was struggling a little with reaching the brakes. The guys in store were super helpful and very friendly. I now have brakes set so that my hands can reach them easily, and they sorted out my seat and handlebar set up so I would be more comfortable on my bike. All for a very reasonable price. They are great, I would highly recommend!

Great workshop service, my road bike had a front derailleur tuning issue poorly managed twice by a previous shop. These guys fixed it. I can ride again. What more do you need.

A great range of bicycles with genuinely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Bought a bicycle for my wife and she enjoyed it so much, I went back and bought one for myself after careful review and advice from their staff. Each bicycle has been put together by a staff member who has taken responsibility for the build. They allow you to try out various test saddles at home until you are happy with a particular style and size. Build quality and finish is top notch. Being cyclists themselves, the staff know what they are talking about and gave me advice that turned out to be spot on. Highly recommended.

Love this place. The mechanics are friendly and efficient - I was able to book my commuter bike in for a service within a week. It came back riding smooth with perfect brakes and new gear cables. I found exactly the gloves I needed to replace my falling apart ones, and nobody commented on how dirty my bike was/how worn my gloves were.

Great bike shop in Wellington's CBD, super friendly and fast service - had a flat tyre on the way to work today, and the guys there were just happy to drop their other repairs and they fixed my bike on the spot. At other places I got turned down with small things like that before, or asked to come back another day, but the mechanics at Giant Wellington were just really down to earth and super helpful - thanks guys!!!

A friendly staff member instantly greeted me on arrival and asked whether I needed help. He then proceeded to offer useful advice regarding floor pumps. This allowed me to be in and out of the store in about 5 minutes.

Amazing place. Mike and John do an amazing job keeping everything running smoothly and go to an length to make me and every other customer i know feel valued. Robert is a wealth of knowledge and is always helpful, and Joe is friendly and super technical and methodical with his work- I've been coming to Giant Wellington for a year now and every other bike store is put to shame by this humble shop. 5 stars is well deserved by these guys.

Great bunch of guys, super helpful, the new location on Featherston St is really handy and they're really proactive about calling you back and keeping you posted on bike services etc... and I've had not issues with the bikes I've purchased from them. Same owners as Cycle Science out in Lower Hutt who are also good sorts.

I've only been here a few times - a couple times just to have a browse, once to get a new pair of shorts, and once today to ask advice about buying a first road bike. I won't lie, I was fully expecting a bit of a brush-off for being a dirty casual or a "robust" lady but there was none of that malarkey here. I really appreciated your help, guys.

This place is amazing! Knowledgable, friendly and extremely helpful staff. On a cycle tour across NZ and dropped in to get some minor repairs (buckled wheel). They fixed us up in minutes and had us on our way. Thanks guys!!!

Don't think that this place will be expensive just because it's brand name. I've been here 4 times now and they always have a budget range of accessories which are still decent quality. Excellent customer service, nice people and good products.

These guys were great at fitting me with my Liv Hail 1 mountain bike which I love! No manplaining either which is super refreshing!

Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get parts or service. Good bunch of guys who know their stuff. Very reasonably priced and very quick turn-around. Chur!
