The Chicken Souvalaki Salad with garlic yoghurt and hot chilli is a favourite - unlike a lot of kebab shops the chicken at Royals is marinated breast, cooked to order - fresh, healthy and delicious!
The recent addition of wood fire pizzas means Royals is a now firm family favourite Of ours with something for everyone, even fussy little eaters who can’t get enough of the Hawaiian pizza.
Great for a casual dinner out or takeaway, highly recommend.

Food: The chef knows what he is doing and is also a great guy. They don’t compromise on taste. I’ve always ordered their kebabs and burgers, it’s a go to place for good food.
Very friendly and warm guys. They always have a smile and manage a busy hour pretty well.

Reading the other reviews I am a little bit confused.
Some say the food is not real, some say it's the best... I liked it, real or not.
The ambiance is nice but informal, the staff is friendly and helpful.
Obviously if there is something more genuine or authentic is very difficult for a first time visitor like me, but my overall experience was very positive.
I also dared to try the famous Chicken on rice ... It's a kebab that middle east happen to love so much that you can find it in every market , ... If you are not from middle east you will love it too
For me Royal Kebab as it says Best kebab Ever ....
h.One of our favorite eateries. The kebabs are always delicious, never oily and you can choose extra filling and sauces. A kebab is plenty and they are wrapped really well so all the filling does not drop out. Also I noticed today they had fresh Turkish Delight for sale.
M.Ordered a chicken kebab for lunch. Service was good, staff were friendly and very efficient however the kebab barely had any chicken in it. The vegetables in the wrap were generous however I found the kebab to barely contain any meat at all.
A.Nice kebabs. They use good meat for the lamb not mince meat so I like that. Only thing is sometimes they can grill it on the sandwich press for longer to make it hotter and crispy. Thanks!

J.This is actually the first place I tried Kebab in New Zealand, but damn, no one ever beats this place. The kebab is just so good even the vegies. Would definitely recommend.

P.Always had great kebabs at this place. Pity that NZ food regs mean they cannot (nor can anyone in NZ) do the meat traditionally....but excepting that this is good kebab tucker!
K.One of only place you can actually get the real kebab everything is fresh from the meat just being Grill Cooked to Veges i really love the way the cook their meat instead of using these kebab machine ( God know how long that meat being seating in there ) they Grilled it as you order !

They have some of the best mincemeat around and their sausage selection is exceptional. Ian and his team a really friendly and enjoy a bit of banter go so hi and check out what they have to offer.
