T.Been meaning to try their delivery service for a while now. Being in Lockdown was the perfect excuse. Prompt delivery. Excellent communication. Cheaper and far better quality than the supermarket. Looking forward to cooking up the T Bones, they look amazing!
C.Received my delivery on the day requested. All beautifully packed. Had asked for my steaks to be put into packs of two which it was. Was quite a big order but everything was there. Have ordered several times now. Meat is very nice and online ordering is so convenient. Brad is very nice to deal with. Thanks guys.

D.Couldn't ask for a better service! Took some home kill venison into the boys and they ran through all the options and made it super easy. I got a variety of steaks, sausages (several flavours), kranskys,burger patties and mince. The Kranskys were incredible and a real winner! Great packaging and even vacuum sealed the steaks for me. S.Great cuts of meat. Fillet steak so delicious and tender. Delivery was seamless. Would love access to sulphate and additive free bacon as I look for that in supermarkets. Still to try the sausages and lamb shanks.
K.This is the best butcher in Christchurch. People drive from Belfast to buy their meat. If you want bacon that doesn't shrink away to nothing in the pan, this is the place to get it. They do all their own small goods and the standard is super high.
G.Salmon isn't cheap anywhere but the quality of the fillet we got yesterday for the kids was worth it and got thumbs up from the kids. Overall this is a great butchery, solid mince and diced lamb pricing. Would love to see free range poultry on offer as well as lamb mince because then we would be able to get all our protein from there.
L.Re-discovered Halswell Butchery during lockdown and thrilled with the professional presentation and service of deliveries to Amberley where we now live. As retired farmers and use to and spoilt with quality meat cuts, its great to find meat that tastes closest to home grown. The variety of excellent smallgoods is an added bonus. A.I did an online order this week and put in the fridge, I dealt with it 2 days later and found something missing from the order. I rang up and explained what had happened. The person that answered the phone found my order and arranged for the missing item to be redelivered. This happened with no fuss and really impressed me as I was treated with respect and no stage was I made to feel like I was lying or at fault for not checking my order earlier. I was very impressed with the delivery and service

J.I have been buying online for a while now and have always been delighted with the service, if I need small amount I pop in and have never had anything but excellent service the team are very helpful and having a coeliac in the family it’s helpful to have a butcher I can trust, meat is always great quality , I’m a cooks cook so I actually like mince with a bit if fat if I need a special cut I can always get it , keep up the good work
