G.Haven't been there yet, but our local Fresh Choice stocks their sausages. The best ever! I was brought up for my first 5 years just across the river in Dobson. Will definitely drop in to the shop whenever nearby.

c.Best sausages we have had in a long time. Brought the spicy pork, lamb and roasted onion and venison sausages. As well as salami. All very delicious. I loved the fact that they are msg and gluten free. Wonderful service. Well worth the stop in.

R.With out doubt the salami from this company is excellent, called into Blackball shop and could not stop eating this great product and our 1st 300g was gone before we arrived at Joes Gillmans buried Jaguars at Clearlight just out of Stillwater, A magnificent arvo spent in they Grey river area. K.Definitely a destination shop. Way off the main roads, but the quality of the sausages and salami are worth the distance. The town is steeped in NZ history.

M.Drove to blackball to get some sausages and salami after trying them elsewhere. Great little shop with a very helpful lady who knew everything about the products. You could see them making them through windows too. The sausages were excellent, we had the pork and the venison.

J.A little shop and factory set in the centre of historic and colourful Blackball, West Coast , NZ.
There is a shop front counter there with friendly staff to advise you on all the selection of salamis, sausages and marinated steaks. They have a wide selection of venison based salami with different flavours, as well as the usual pork/beef product.
Specialty sausages such as boerworst, chorizo, bratwurst and black pudding as well as conventional pork sausages also feature there.
The shop front is very clean and processing hygiene seems to be the underlying feature for the entire factory business. This feels reassuring especially when dealing with fermented meats. You can deal there with confidence.
Prices are not cheap, and the packaging of the produce is attractive with characteristic black and white labels.
Recommended for a quick visit to buy some tasty well made smallgoods, that are also widely available on the West Coast. An interesting aside to do, while investigating this cradle of New Zealand's social history.
