M.Have been traveling all over the country for some time now and to many butchers. (We like to find the best foods as we go) The sausages (all the ones we have tried which was most) have been among the very best. If not the best. The short ribs are cut to perfection and cannot wait to smoke them up soon. The steaks and other meats look absolutely perfect and there's not many that offer such well aged beef.
The beef brisket pastry was absolutely amazing aswell. Along with the Beef wellington. Makes me want to move to Masterton. Thanks all involved. A++ one of the best if not the best of the North Island for sure.
C.I first loved this butchery in Wellington for the Pork Pies, missed them in Gore and now I am ordering my meat from here. The quality is sublime, no review could do them justice. I won't be buying from the supermarket anymore
T.Dion and Ali are just the best of the best and their products and service Excell. Seriously you will never deal with a better team and get better service, meat,products and well you just won't get better than them. We can not compliment them enough. Do yourselves a favor. Place a order with them. You won't regret it. But you will re order.

P.Only just recently found and had 2 orders from this business. The quality of the meat was excellent and delivered promptly. My family and I were very surprised by the cost as well, as it was only a very small amount more than our local supermarket but way better quality. I want to thank this team for excellent product and service. I highly recommend this business.

Previously they have cooked our lamb roasts onsite with Gravy and nothing is to much trouble, always going out of there way to deliver exceptional service. G.Always excellent service clean and tidy Butcher with alot of variety of different cuts of meats and assorted meats available too variety of dry goods sauces, cast steel pan's etc but most of all SPARE RIBS ARE COOKED SMOKED THEN SAUCED TO PERFECTION Thursday and Friday only available
Also chicken nibbles, sammies, meat pasties available too
B.I was transported back in time to the days of real meat, real service, and everything wrapped in paper. It's 100% worth saving for a trip to this wonderful Butcher. But even the cost was nowhere NEAR as high as I expected considering the obvious quality of local meat! Great product is worth it. Never buying supermarket meat again. The deli is incredible. Next visit I'm getting Black Doris jam for my cheese sandwiches! Such friendly people too.
