I love how they know their meats and cause I've been going for so long a few of the guys know roughly what I order as its pretty much the same. Really love that small business feel and like your part of the family.
L.A great place to buy real meat. It looks great in the case, no smell and watching the butchers either tie a huge roll of pork or carve a nice piece of meat straight off the carcass, such skill. Always great to go back after a few weeks of supermarket meat.
J.High quality meat with equally great service! Very few independent butcheries left. Ordered a leg of lamb and collected it fresh the same day. I highly recommend Downey's for great choice, freshness, variety and helpfulness.
